This was my first visit with Stephen and his team I have always been really nervous but straight away I was made to feel calm , everything from the chat before the examination through the whole process was so professional and kind which made me feel so much better to return and have the treatment , which was all explained in every detail.I would definitely recommend them

I had to seek quick appointment for severe pain and swelling in one of my teeth and Receptionist at Ringway Dental immediately arranged one.
Thereafter I was treated by Doctor Kelly with atmost care and subsequent consultation and treatments. Doctor Kelly detailed a plan and helped me get out of my pain. Thanks to Ringway Dental and Receptionist and Doctor Kelly. Spot on professionalism.

My whole experience with Ringway Dental was brilliant from start to finish. I had veneers fitted and I can honestly say at first I was apprehensive thinking is it going to be painful how long will it take will they look false .. I needn’t of worried at all .I absolutely love them !! My friend’s, family work colleagues think they are amazing too . Dr Scott and the whole team are so friendly welcoming and reassuring . Always such a welcoming place! The staff are friendly, polite, and always greet you with a smile. The atmosphere is wonderful – everything is kept clean, tidy, and it always smells amazing. Truly a pleasant experience every time I visit!

I can’t recommend Ringway Dental enough! The practice is always spotless, which really makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly, and you’re instantly put at ease.

A special mention to my dentist, Claire- she is absolutely fantastic. She’s incredibly patient, professional, and really takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Her attention to detail is spot on, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. I feel very confident and reassured in her care.

My first encounter with Ringway was back in November 2022. My teeth at the time were terrible, to the point that when I smiled I looked like I was in costume for a horror film like the hills have eyes, and this isn’t even an exaggeration.

I had a NHS dentist, but they didn’t seem to be willing to work with me to complete the bare minimum. I was really struggling to keep them clean due to an over crowding issue, and I had quite advanced gum disease. Due to a series of negative experiences with NHS dentists, I developed a bit of a phobia of dentists in general, but decided to bite the bullet and go private.

I remember my first appointment was with Dr. Dodd, and I wanted to see if I’d be a candidate for orthodontic treatment. I was advised that I had to get the gum disease under control. This was when I was referred to Kate.

Kate taught me soooooo much from the importance of flossing, the angle to use my toothbrush to make sure I was getting into all the nooks and crannies, diet and the impact it was having on my teeth. Initially, I saw her every four weeks for about four months. She then referred me back to Dr. Dodd to reassess the situation.

Dr Dodd then referred me to BeClear Orthodontics as my case was quite complex (like I said, my teeth were a mess) and they advised that I would be a suitable candidate for braces, but to help with the over crowding issue, I needed to have three teeth removed. They referred me back to Ringway to arrange these extractions.

Got to admit, I was terrified at the thought of having three teeth taken out, but I really wanted to fix my teeth. It was Dr Claire Spencer who I saw. She’s so lovely and put my mind at rest quite quickly. I was very nervous, and my response when I am nervous is to laugh, which is not ideal when you’re at the dentist 😂 but she was so patient with me.

There was a slight issue with the extractions. I developed dry socket in all three extraction sites which wasn’t great and quite painful. I rang Ringway and got an appointment the same day and Dr. Spencer resolved this in less than ten minutes. No pain after that. It was all systems go.

I had the braces out on. They were on for two years and three months. During this time, I saw Dr Spencer every 6 months, and Kate every 3 months.

Kate continued to pass on her valuable advice on improving my gum health whilst having the braces were on, doing deep cleans, tips on flossing, tips to prevent staining. I remember she put this pink dye on my teeth to show me how effective my brushing was. It was gross, but a great education tool for me. Kate’s willingness to teach me is what I yearned for with my previous NHS dentist and her knowledge and patience with me have been a breath of fresh air compared to any dental hygienist I’ve ever seen. She is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does.

My braces were removed in June this year. I spoke to Ringway immediately and they advised to get a clean done before doing any teeth whitening. Kate did a clean for me, then I saw Dr Spencer for a quote on Composite bonding and two fillings.

I have to say, the composite bonding and fillings were significantly cheaper than I thought they were going to be, which is always a bonus 😊 We agreed I’d do three weeks of teeth whitening and then for the last bit of work to be completed all on the same day.

The session with Dr Spencer to do my fillings and composite bonding went really quickly, but I was in the chair for around 3 hours. I wasn’t able to really comprehend the results initially as I was still numb from the fillings, but once that wore off, I can’t believe how much my teeth and smile have changed.

Dr. Spencer is a dental artist. I can’t believe this is now my smile. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Spencer also advised of the aftercare to maintain my composite bonding.

My overall massive plus points of Ringway Dental are:

1. They aren’t afraid to refer you elsewhere to get the best results.
2. Both Dr. Spencer and Kate are both very informative, put your mind at ease, approachable and are very clear and straight forward with next steps and actions that I needed to take.
3. It’s very quick and easy to get an appointment.
4. They have a dental care plan which is a fantastic idea.
5. Everyone is so nice and helpful- offering drinks whilst waiting and just having a general conversation, which is great as at first it used to really help with the nerves.

Not only is Ringway responsible for changing my smile into one that I am proud of, they have really changed the way I feel about dentists, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I went for veneers on a budget. I was 'persuaded' initially to have multiple hygiene appointments which cost me a lot. Then when my veneers were due finally, I was told my very front tooth was unsavable due to an infection (which was only a few days old) and they said it had to be removed. I stupidly listened to them and was given a replacement on a dental plate (they actually wanted to remove loads of teeth but luckily I refused that suggestion). My dental plate never fitted and each of the 4 adjustments made it worse & worse. I was told to use that awful pink stuff!!! Not why I went private AT ALL. The second one is going the same way too, just not as quickly. If I had been told that a dental plate was so unpredictable and SO UNCOMFORTABLE, I would never have agreed, I would have used the thousands they milked from me for a dental implant. I also went with a painful tooth just before my holiday and I was told it could wait for 2 weeks until after my holiday. So they sent me home to go on holiday taking co-codamol for 2 weeks. To me that is so unprofessional verging on legally liable. After a bad review elsewhere, I was called by them with a promise of looking at fixing it. Guess what, I NEVER heard from them about that but they sent me a link to book a hygiene appointment for them to milk MORE money from me. Cheeky or what? I WOULD SAY AVOID THIS PRACTICE.
I am looking for a new practice but feel so let down on multiple occasions by Ringway that I am now nervous about going to a new place. They left me more conscious of my teeth than before as due to the plate dropping down from my palate, it makes my speech strange, and I fiddle constantly with it in my mouth all day. Not what I saved for years and saved thousands for as I am a carer on a small income. Devastated.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving treatment at Ring Way Dental, and I can honestly say it was a transformative experience! From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who made me feel at ease. The atmosphere was calming and professional, which immediately alleviated any anxiety I had about my dental procedure.

I opted for 10 composite veneers to enhance my smile, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr Stewart Mclean took the time to understand my desires and concerns, explaining each step of the process in detail. Their expertise and attention to detail were truly impressive. I felt confident that I was in excellent hands throughout the entire procedure.

The actual application of the composite veneers was seamless. The team at Ring Way Dentist worked efficiently while ensuring I was comfortable and informed the whole time.
The composite material chosen perfectly, i wanted a wider, even smile- a hollywood smile! They provided just that; a stunning and flawless finish. I have received so many compliments on my new smile, and it has noticeably boosted my confidence.

Furthermore, the aftercare instructions were clear, and the planned follow-up appointments ensured my transition to this new smile was smooth and successful. I appreciated the genuine concern from the team about my satisfaction and well-being. I'm going back for a tweakment; due to logistics and ill-health I've had to defer this, but i can honestly say the team at Ringway have been really accommodating, understanding and welcome me back when I'm able to attend.

I feel and look like a different women; I've gone onto have a glow up! I have spent the last decade putting filters on my photos to make it look like I have white, straight teeth. An embarrassing admission, but the truth! I now have no filters, no apps- just PERFECT TEETH!

Credit to the dental hygienist who provided a scale and polish- I've had this done multiple times over the last decade- I'm actually an ex dental nurse to so seen 100s of them performed to... and this was the BEST clean I've ever had!
