Really clear explanation of a tricky bay window due to different levels and a fixed pelmet. Others who quoted didn’t notice or mention this. We went for the UK manufactured product which meant ordering to installation was about a month. Really impressed and the shutters look fantastic.

I found him to be so helpful and knowledgeable on everything.
We had other quotes but the quality of there shutters was cut above.

Mike the MD is a slick salesman and very knowledgable. The quality of the workmanship has been very high and we are happy with the product. The reason for only 3 stars is that the experience has been pretty poor. When the MD came for the site visit to calculate a quote his eyes lit up when he saw a very large window that he said he could supply shutters for - even though thats not why we had called him in. He kept steering the conversation back to the larger window despite us fobbing off with “not now, we will think about it”. Our order was placed but on checking a few weeks later to see about estimated delivery we were told it hadn’t been put through as they were waiting to see if we had made up our minds on the large window - certainly not what we had indicated - that delayed us two weeks. Riverside then tried to to take the remaining 50% of our money before fitting as they had changed their policy to full payment up front, even though thats not the contract we had signed up to. Overall a good product but the the MD is charming but we felt that the friendly courtesy shown prior to placing the order quickly dried up I once they had sold as much as they were going to to us.

Riverside were recommended to us from some friends who had shutters installed last year. We were instantly impressed with the work and knew we needed the same people to provide these for our home. We certainly made the right choice, beautiful shutters and a first class service to match.

I received a fair quote after shopping about and having read other reviews and seen photos of their work, I decided to proceed. Very satisfied with the job and delivery of my expectation.

I was not entirely sure which choice of shutter would work best with my home decor but the guys took the time to ensure the right choice and style was made. On top of that, the install job was smooth and plain-sailing. Could not be more happier with the job.

We contacted Riverside pre-COVID and based on strong reviews and a good sale pitch versus the competitors, we went with them. COVID it seems really stretched their resources and they did not have any visibility in their supply chain. Our order was delayed. This happened to a lot of businesses obviously with Chinese supply chains but what I did not really like was how they handled the whole thing. Instead of being customer centric and providing frequent updates, they stonewalled me and even became aggressive to my queries. Really inappropriate customer service in my opinion. The shutters are fine and do the job as they all do.
