Roadside Roadmaster Tow Avis 12

I called for a tow. After 4 hours and many calls sitting in the hot sun I found they were broke down and not coming. I was still charged and my bank declined the dispute because I had to sign the invoice to get to say they were coming out. TOTAL SCAM

These people are a SCAM. Kept pushing the time from 30 minutes. Took 5 hours. Was told it would be a new tire that showed up. Then told it would be a used tire, but no change in rate. Then when the guy showed up, he only patched the tire.

I was told they would credit my account $70. They never did. I've been calling "Daniel" for 3 days.

DO NOT USE. SCAM.

I called them +1 (760) 278-6411. I had a flat tire and live in my car with a dog . They said for 370 they would send me a guy to replace my tire , mobile service , I said great than they called they wanted another 100 for a tire within thier "spec" I said fine , I tha waited , they said the tow truck broke down. And they are sending another truck, a guy from Burlington calls and says I'll need another 150 to tow the car , I said never mind and I called the rr towing to cancel my tow, and they said it's a 100$ cancelation fee. I disputed it with the bank. It seems I'm out almost 500

Do not, I repeat do not try to deal with these people. Absolutely gouging , highway robbery. Nothing short of thieves trying to take advantage of people in bad situations.

I am glad I called for an estimate... I needed a jump start . She told me a technician could be with me in about 30 minutes, but dig this the estimate was FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. Yes you read that correctly a jump start is $400.00.

I'm not upset because I know Karma will catch them.

Where do I start.... it's 430AM on I16 westbound, my tire goes out, I fiercely google for local tow companies and mobile tire repair, these guys pop up and the woman on the phone sold me on their services.... then the red flags start. "Well because of where you're at the driver wants 20 extra dollars, you can pay them in cash!", I didn't have cash on me so I charge it to my card, "We'll be there in 60-90 minutes" 30 mins before the 90 minute mark comes around they call me and tell me that the used tire they're bringing me is faulty and I'm going to have to pay for a new tire, an additional 900$ on top of the 500$ I already paid them, oh yeah, THEY WANT CASH..... it's a 2015 BMW X1, not a brand new roadster, why would I pay that, oh and now they won't be there for another 3 hours because they have to wait for a shop to open to buy the tire. I received 0 help from them, and all the while they kept reminding me about their refund policy because I refused to pay for additional service. I'm disputing the charge if they're stupid enough to enforce it, they never rendered the services that I initially paid for and they always ask for cash. They want cash because you can't dispute them at all, luckily I found a local tow truck driver that took me from where I was at to a Mavis and I was back up and running. DO. NOT. USE. THEM. They are a total sham and will try to take you for everything you've got.

If i could give them 0 stars i would. Hired them to come replace my flat and broke my lug nut key got it stuck on the lug nut and will not compensate me or help me
Much more. Now will cost me double and they won’t refund me. Now i have to dispute my bank charge. Never use them

Scam artist, my friend locked her keys in the car, they charged her $180 and said their truck broke down and needed more money. No refunds, took advantage of my friend in distress

This company is a scam!! While helping family move from one state to another my car broke down in a different state. I googled tow companies local to that are and this one was one of the first to pop up. I paid for their service online then my husband received a call from them stating the tow truck broke down so they would have to send one from farther away which would take longer and we would have to pay additional money. Wit's their tow fee already being high and it didn't seem right, we cancelled their service. They then said they would have to charge us a 50% cancellation fee. When we disagreed with that they said they would discount it to a $59.99 processing fee. I found out later from a real tow company that Roadmasters does not even own tow trucks and is definitely a scam. Don't give them your money!!!

Dont use them under any circumstances!!!! Called to have flat tire changed in Columbia SC. Guy showed up. Proceeded to snap all 5 lug nuts. Not one but 5. Called service. Was put on hold 20 times. Spoke to management which was no help. 3 days later got new towing company to take my car to the dealership. Dealer said they have never seen such a mess in their life. Cost to fix his screw up was $700. Company refused to compensate me for their error. DONT USE

Absolutely awful experience. I called for help with a simple tyre change, which they said someone would be there in 30mins. instead of sending someone out, they called back to say my only option was to get towed. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, they still charged me $40 for nothing! Completely unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and go with a company that actually provides the service they advertise.

Would give them zero stars if I could. Said they would arrive in 45 minutes for a quick battery Jump start. It was 2 hours before they arrived. Had I known, I would have called another service. Do not use this 3rd party company.

Website advertises 30 minutes. I called the number. She quoted 30-60 minutes for $187. I paid. An hour later I’m told that I would have to pay an additional $89 in cash to have immediate services or wait another hour. Offered me a $20 discount to wait an hour.
