The panels i ordered are quality and arrived in a big crate to protect the panels. The entire process worked out well. From ordering, customer service interaction, timeline updates and receipt of the items, were all smooth and very well done.

Roofing4us communications regarding my orders have been timely and accurate. They have a good selection at fair prices. I received exactly what I ordered, when they said it would arrive. I will definitely use them again if/when the need arises.

They will take your money

They will take your money, but don’t have the merchandise! After asking for an update on delivery 10 days after they charged my account, Garry Egan replied they don’t have the items in stock. I asked to get reimbursed. 20 days later, still waiting. Their website still shows the item in stock. Not an honest business.

Sold a Product Not in Stock, No refund issued. Issue did come as a result of this review.

This company advertised a product as in stock when it was not. Then they tacked on a $100 shipping charge for a single bundle of shingles. After a week, it wasn't shipped. That's when I called. They promised a refund within 12 to 14 days. We're getting on to 20, and they no longer respond to my requests for information. Looks too me like a bait and switch, then delay scam. I'm not pleased with this company. Don't risk you money. My next step is the BBB and an open request for my refund on their facebook page. Very poor business practice here.

Well. The responses and the refund finally came. I'm glad for that, but it doesn't change the issue. Action followed my review. Had the action came before the review, I would have given a better response. This company must learn better communication skills. Customers should not have to resort to review sites in order to gain decent treatment and response times.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Roofing4US operates under another name too. I found a great deal on greenhouse H-channels on their website, but when I requested a quote, it was over $100 more than the email qouted price. The shipping cost was outrageous! So, I decided to buy directly from the website. My mistake was calling back Gary Egan and being upfront with the pricing discrepancy, who provided the quote—I mentioned that it was cheaper to buy online through their own site. The next day, he emailed me stating they couldn't honor the online price that i had already purchased the items and that it would cost about $150 more. They refunded me but What a dishonest company—if they can't stand by their own prices, especially when the error is on their end.

LOST CUSTOMER and LOST FUTURE BUSINESS!

Although there can be discrepancies on some information on our website we make every effort to rectify issues if and when they are brought to our attention. Unfortunately the issue with the product you were looking to purchase was very long and fell into a long item category when being shipped, hence the extremely high shipping charge. We did offer to cut or fold the item for you so it would fit into a smaller package and reduce the shipping cost but I believe this did not suit what you needed it for.

Typically this product would never be bought on its own hence it was not in the correct shipping rule on our website. When this came to light after your order was placed we corrected the issue and informed you of the difference in shipping price.

Our website shows estimate shipping costs and in most cases (99 times out of 100) the shipping cost estimate is accurate, however in instances like this there maybe some errors.

Shipping by LTL is booked under the customer's name but to assist in making the buying experience as easy as possible for the customer we setup the shipping and manage the process for the customer. So in essence the LTL carrier would have made contact with you before delivery to collect payment. We spotted the error and tried to foresee any further inconvenience that you may have had during the shipping process before the goods shipped out.

Overall albeit your experience did not meet your expectation after you placed your order (and we do apologize for this) we did assist in avoiding any further poor experiences with the carrier after the order would have shipped.

Be careful with ordering

I placed an order on Nov 2 and canceled this order a few hours later well before it shipped. It was outside of first two hours of placing the order so I knew I would be charged a 30.00 administration fee.
Late afternoon the next day, I get an email from one of their sales reps informing me the order was going to ship and that he would get me a tracking number once available. I replied to him informing him that I had sent the email request as outlined on their website to have this order canceled. He assured me that this would be taken care of. He also assured me that I would only be charged the 30.00 admin fee as this was missed by their team.
30 Nov comes and I get an email from him telling me that I am being charged for shipping to and from as well as a 30% restocking fee.
The same customer service representative who told me that I would only be liable for the 30.00 admin fee now tells me that since the items shipped, I will only be getting 99.69 out of 715.42 (745.42-30.00) refunded to me even though I followed ALL of their guidelines.
Now I am out just over 600.00 with nothing but an email trail of false promises to show for it.
If their sales team had not have assured me that I would only be liable for the 30.00 admin fee, I would have just had the product delivered.

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry on this occasion that your order had shipped out before we got to cancelling the order with the LTL carrier.

The main issue is that you cancelled the order outside of business hours. Therefore the email was really only received by our team until the following day. This then leaves it tight by the time we get to your email which would be among other emails received and then process it on our side and send it over to the warehouse to try and stop the shipment.

Really the timeline is very tight to pull this off because as stated before even though we requested for the order not to ship out, the warehouse still has a process on their side to follow when cancelling an order. You're also depending on them to pick up the cancellation email request in a timely manner so they can start the process to stop the shipment. This is why we request 24hrs notice when cancelling an order. There are a lot of moving parts when placing an order and then cancelling an order. We do state this on our website in our shipping terms.

I can assure you we did do our best to try and stop this order for you. It's just unfortunate that your order was shipped out before the warehouse received the information about the cancellation and then put a stop on the order. LTL carriers don't care too much about customer service so they charged for the collection and return of the order back to our warehouse as if it was 2 shipments.

If you had of canceled your order inside of business hours there would have been more time for our team to ensure your order did not ship out.

As your order did ship out there was nothing we could do only recall it back to try avoid running up further costs with the LTL carrier.

Our customer service representative thought that he was going to be able to stop the order before it shipped and if he was able then yes you would have only been charged $30. However he was unable to stop the order shipping.

Received my order of polycarbonate sheets. Was satisfied with my order. At first I thought this was a scam website but I was wrong. I would definitely order again.

These guys are crooks, STAY AWAY!!!

Deceived by their website I ordered over $2,000.00 of insulation online. Immediately after the online purchase I was given no order confirmation, no shipping status, etc., After 2 days of unanswered emails, phone calls, failed attempts to use their broken online chat I filled a refund request with Paypal (good thing I used Paypal). They finally responded after my Paypal compliant with a slew of bogus excuses, yet no sign of merchandise, tracking number, nothing. To date, order was placed on 18 Sept. 2023. If they were a goodly and ethical company they would simply immediately refund my money, due to their inability to deliver as advertised, and we could part ways versus giving a slew of bogus excuses. As initially stated: "These Guys are Crooks!" albeit very crafty crooks, but crooks none the less.

Hi Thurston,

You placed your order on the 18th September and on the 20th September you opened a case with Paypal. We specify 3 to 5 days on average to process and deliver your order. In some cases it can take a little longer but that is the average delivery time frame for orders similar to yours.

You would have received an order confirmation from us when you placed your order online. Maybe check your spam folder as sometimes order confirmation emails can go into spam or a marketing folder.

When you opened your case in Paypal 2 days after placing your order we emailed you outlining we were working on shipping your order out to you but you never replied. As we got no reply we cancelled your order as you had opened a case with Paypal.

There is no way we could have delivered your order in 2 days and nor did we suggest we could and it is very unusual for a customer to open a dispute just 2 days after ordering online and not replying to our attempts to make contact.

In this case there is very little we could do to assist you.
