Love my Rothy's!

I absolutely LOVE my Rothy's. They're super comfortable, hold up nicely, washable, come in a bunch of different styles and they're constantly releasing new colors and patterns. They literally never get old to me. Some people struggle with sizing but seems to me that most wear .5 or 1 full size up from their usual shoe size. Depending on the style you may have to go up more than another style. Despite that learning curve, I own way more pair than I ever thought I would, and will continue to buy more. No more socks!! No more smelly flats!! This is shoe heaven for me.

Worst customer service ever! Wrong shoes/wrong size. No refund!!!

Ordered a light pink pair in 8.5; received a black pair in a size 10. They would not provide return instructions.Now AMX says I did not return the shoes within the allotted 30 days so I have to pay. I am so ticked at Rothy's, PayPal and AMX. They have all been ridiculous! Refused to provide return instructions then billed me for not following them! PayPal offered a $5 credit -- really, on an $82 pair of shoes in the wrong color and in the wrong size?? DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Love the look, not the most comforable - Sneaker

I love the look of the sneaker shoe and the insert. However, the shoe slightly rubs on the top of my foot and it has become irritated. I also love that they are designed to go in the wash. I ordered the shoe in white and it gets dirty very easily.

Not worth the money

I bought two pairs of Rothys and won't be buying any more. After washing shoes they shrunk. The second pair of shoes that are slip on loafer/ sneakers hurt on the side of my foot. I ordered larger size and they were not good. I called customer service and was advised to send photos. I made them aware that I wore them twice. I was told since they were worn that they weren't returnable. Not sure why I was made to waste time sending photos. Not worth the money.

Soles Worn After 4 Days

TLDR: My Rothy's lasted 4 days before they were destroyed and Rothy's did not care. Rothy's are not inexpensive. I bought a pair of sandals in March - excited to wear them once the weather started getting warmer. I went on vacation in May and wore my new Rothy's sandals over the course of 4 days. 2 of 4 days, I stayed in my hotel and either was barefoot or reclining by the pool. The other two days, I wore my sandals out and about for most of the day. After 4 days, the heels of the soles had totally eroded away. I contact Rothy's thinking this had to be some sort of defect. Their response was to offer me a discount on a future purchase - as if it's not insulting to suggest I'd be appeased enough to buy another pair of shoes that didn't even last a week. Shoddy quality products that they either can't or won't stand behind, shady business practices, and a poor customer experience.

My experience

I have 3 pairs and they fit wonderfully. You can probably get something similar elsewhere but no complaints. I have not had to deal with customer service so I can not speak to that issue. If there is an issue I would probably hesitate future purchases. They should get on the ball if they want to stay in business.

Be careful with Rothys company

Be careful with Rothys company. I bought a pair of shoes to large exchanged them to a different style and to large. Requested a refund and they would only provide store credit. They are not people first! I can’t wear the shoes and stuck with a $130 credit. They say full refund if not satisfied they do not stand behind there advertised policy!!! Not worth the hassle! Shop elsewhere!

Terrible customer service

I love rothys shoes, been a customer for 4 years, but their customer service is aweful. Yes, there is a pandemic, but don't tell me to wait over 20 business and come back after that time period to get a resolution to then have rothys customer tell me to wait a few more weeks and then contact them again. What a joke. Filled a claim with paypal. Thank goodness for PayPal protection.

First time buyer AND last time
CUSTOMER SERVICE sucks
Purchased an item on Dec 3rd. Never got confirmation when it was sent out. It wasn't a Christmas gift so I wasn't in any rush. I figured busy and limited workers. I get it COVID-19..I can be patient....Right???
I decided to contact Customer Service on Dec 21st to check on status...THE FREAKIN PRODUCT WAS SOLD OUT. So instead of contacting me earlier about this, it was me who had to reach out.
They could not accommodate anything for me as I had a coupon. The deal was selected styles and colors. I mean they couldn't easily switch to a different color to please a customer. Really?? You guys make alot if money and accommodating my request was going to throw off the company???
I just said give me refund. They tried to smooth things over by re-issuing me the coupon. The down side, it expires Dec 31st. They couldn't even extend the coupon another month after they treated me like this.
Ahhh, don't think I really want to purchase anything from you guys ever. AND def won't recommend to anyone.

Customer service could care less...

I ordered a Christmas gift for my mom on December 10th, with a promise of Christmas delivery. The deliver date was December 17th. We had a snow storm that day so I figured they would come in the next day. After a few more days, nothing. I checked the tracking and now it says delayed and arriving late. After contacting Rothys, they said to wait an additional 48 hours to see if the "tracking " has updated as it should. 48 hours later, nothing. I contacted again and they said I must wait a full 14 business days (which now brings us to January 2021) to request a replacement or refund. So, I now have no Christmas gift, when I was guaranteed Christmas delivery. They have already taken my money. They blame the mail carriers and the pandemic. However, if you know the mail carriers are overwhelmed, then you should not be guaranteeing delivery just to line your pockets. I've never experienced such careless customer service. Not to mention one you can't call.

Great customer service, even better shoes

I first saw a friend wearing Rothy's and after hearing they use recycled material, I decided to give them a try. I am obsessed with the yellow "The Point" shoes, they look great with my predominantly blue/navy wardrobe. For my birthday the following year, I received a "The Flat" pair as a gift, but the fit was not the same (for wider feet like me, I would recommend sizing up on "The Point" by a half size in comparison to "The Flat"). Through personal circumstance, I missed the return window of 30 days. On day 53, I contacted their customer service to see if they would still accept the return or give me a size swap. The person I spoke to on the phone was super helpful, and he didn't make me feel bad for missing the return window, which was my fault. Since the style I had was no longer available, they credited me a gift card, which was great! I really appreciate the exception they made for me, and the shoes are just amazing.

Let’s blame the pandemic for our poor business practices....

It should have been delivered by 11/2/20
But apparently if you choose ground shipping it can take up to 20 days !!!! Where is that written ????? Of course they need to blame the pandemic , which excuse me ? The pandemic had been going on for 9 months , get your business practices in order or you will be shutting your busing down .

AWFUL Customer Service

Wow, this is what awful customer service is like. I ordered two pairs of shoes, and they sent the wrong pair of shoes. The other pair looked nothing like the picture. When I emailed them telling them that I wanted a refund, they said they did not think that would benefit them. I find it unbeneficial that they sent me the wrong pair of shoes. They didn't even offer to give me a refund even though their website says they will. When I demanded one, they said they could but that they would not pay for shipping even though they sent me the wrong order. But it was either that OR they were going to give me a $6 compensation for a $140 purchase LOL. This company sucks and I will never order from them again.

I ordered a pair of shoes that were to large as they stated to order a size larger if you have wider feet. When I went to exchange them they had on 1 pair in my style in my size I needed. i called to exchange them for a different style and was told by Katherine they didn't do that. You had to exchange for the same exact style even if they were the same cost. I will not order from them again. Very poor customer service!

UNHAPPY customer

I ordered two pairs of shoes from Rothys 2 months ago.. I received them, and decided I needed a different size in one pair and a different color in the other pair... During this, my husband had emergency surgery and I forgot about the shoes with everything going on..the box is still in my closet, shoes in box still just the way they arrived .i called the melrose place store this morning to explain my situation and say I did not want to return anything, just To please exchange them and they've never been out of the box.. A darling person named Libby told me it shouldn't be a problem but I would have to speak to the manager..She put Austin on, who flat out told me he couldn't help me and I could have returned them online in the allotted time.. I explained I only wanted to exchange them... he didn't care... who acts like that during a pandemic and when I had extenuating circumstances.. I am very upset about this ...I tried to call the natl customer service number but there was a recording that they were too busy..

Update ... customer service finally got back to me and the were very understanding and I can mail the shoes back and they will send me a gift card .... NEVER deal with Austin at the Melrose store ... he has NO customer service ability and gives his company a bad name

BE AWARE OF RETURN POLICY

UPDATE 11/10/20-Rothy’s did finally grant a one-time exception to their policy and accept the handbag return and issue a full refund. I still encourage everyone to be WELL AWARE of their return policy before making a purchase.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: If I could give NO STARS I would. WARNING! Beware of Rothy’s return policy. Unlike every other retailer, Rothy’s does not give you “30 days” to try their product and return it if you don’t like it. I bought The Handbag for $350. After receiving it and finding it lacked structure, I decided to try it for a couple of days to see if, when filled, it would “stand up”, but it did not. When I tried to return the bag, with no evidence of use at all except that I had removed the tag, Rothy’s put me through a process with the hope of a “one-time return exception” only to deny the return because the tag had been removed. Be sure to fully understand the Rothy’s return policy before making a purchase. They really don’t have a true return policy.

After hearing rave reviews about these…

After hearing rave reviews about these shoes I bit the bullet and ordered a pair for $145.00 hoping they were worth the hype. I can't review them as I haven't received them yet! Order was placed on 9/30, when I checked the status of the order it said I should receive them on 10/13. Now since the 13th it says it's on it's way, but it's been at the same shipping facility in Indiana since 10/8. I have emailed, I have called, absolutely no response from customer service. I want my damn shoes!!!!!

Whose on first ......

I love, love, love the shoes and at first the customer service was terrific. A pair I wanted was sold out in my size. I filled out the information to be notified when my size was back in. I looked online a couple of months later and there was the shoes, in desired color but but my size was sold out AGAIN. Received no notification. I called customer service to ask. Not only did they not have me on the notification list they said I didn’t have an account. I won’t tell you how many pair I own because it is embarrassing extravagance. But when they are washed they are like new. I love the brand. So I clearly had an account. The customer service rep “ found” my account. Then today I accessed Rothys through a third party shopping site and guess what! There were the shoes in my size. I ordered them because it was a color I really wanted but that is it. They were not rude but incompetent. Done with this company.

Rothys...you're killing me.

I have 10 pairs of Rothys but the customer service has always been sub par. However, now it is AWFUL. I have emailed, called and texted. I ordered a pair of shoes 19 days ago and still haven't received them.

Terrible, horrible,no-gipood customer service

My experiences with Rothy’s when they first started was seamless. I love the shoes, but the last two times I have tried to order additional shoes, the customer service is abysmal. No one notified me of anything. . . shipping, expected delivery, etc. After my sister received her shoes that were ordered AFTER my order, I called and was told that the shoes were frequently shipped from different locations. After a month, I had received no shoes and only found out what was going on after making multiple phone calls. Ultimately I was told the shoes were lost. My second order never shipped although the website showed the shoes were available. Again, multiple phone calls finally let me know that no shoes were shipped and wouldn’t be shipped because they had none in my size. The customer service is pathetic, giving customers absolutely no information about their order. Ladies on the phone are quite apologetic; however, the promised follow through never happened. Even though I love the shoes I already have, I will not order any Rothy’s again and would advise any potential customer not to order either. I have no idea how such a great idea has become a disaster!
