Royal Turkish Schools is an MEB-accredited Turkish language school with modern campuses in Istanbul (Beyoğlu) and Izmir (Alsancak), plus live online courses via Zoom for students worldwide. We have been teaching Turkish to international students for over 15 years, helping more than 1,000 learners from 50+ countries reach fluency through immersive, communicative methodology. Turkish-Only Intensive Learning From day one, all lessons are delivered in Turkish. This full-immersion approach means you will start speaking and understanding the language within the first week. Our small group classes — a maximum of 8 students per class — guarantee personal attention, constant speaking practice, and a tailored learning experience. Courses for Every Level and Goal We offer Standard (15 lessons/week), Intensive (20 lessons/week), and Private (1-on-1) courses for all CEFR levels, from complete beginner (A1) to advanced (C1). RTS is a really good school, you will be able to learn Turkish, the teachers are eloquent, well educated and trained me to speak this incredible language. Besides, the classes are fun, too.

Ottima esperienza

Ottima esperienza. Ho partecipato ad un corso intensivo di gruppo B1 della durata di un mese a Istanbul nell’estate 2026. Buona l’assistenza fornita ai clienti, ben organizzato il corso, accogliente la struttura così come gli insegnanti ed eccellente l’alloggio in famiglia. Considero di ripetere quest’esperienza in futuro.

Che bello leggere questo dopo un mese intero con noi a Istanbul — il B1 intensivo non è un percorso leggero, e arrivare in fondo con questo entusiasmo dice molto anche di te.

Ci fa particolarmente piacere che tu abbia apprezzato la famiglia ospitante: è la parte del soggiorno su cui puntiamo di più, perché è lì che il turco esce dall'aula e diventa vita quotidiana. Gireremo volentieri i tuoi complimenti alla famiglia e agli insegnanti.

Quando vorrai tornare per il B2, ti aspettiamo — a Istanbul o a Izmir, come preferisci.

Great school for learning Turkish

Great school for learning Turkish, with a good learning method. The group sizes are small and Erve Hanim was a talented teacher. Cok Tesekkür ederim :)

I took a private class to review the B1…

I took a private class to review the B1 level basics and I am very satisfied with the way my teacher immediately understood my needs. She made me speak and gave me many opportunities to practice and ask questions.
In terms of the school itself, I was surprised that no one was there to receive students. Everyone comes and goes as they please. It is a very safe place but school usually have a reception. In terms of cleanliness, I think that the school administration should look into painting the walls, clean the chairs and tables, dust the old magazines, remove the over dried fake flower and Christmas tree, clean the kitchen where students can go to have tea and declutter the patio which could be used to relax and drink tea. Schools like such charge a lot of money but do not take care of their facilities. I am a teacher and managed a language institute. Details matter and create better memories. Thanks to the teachers and their outstanding teaching methods, I will put this observation aside and hope the school rewards the teachers well for their hard work.

I highly recommend Royal Turkish…

I highly recommend Royal Turkish School! The experience was perfect in any aspect, the organisation was smooth and I received all the information about my stay and classes in advance.
The course was well organised and I appreciated the teacher and her method.
This course, although short, helped me feeling more confident when speaking.
I look forward to coming back!

Tolle Lehrerin, gute Schule, klare Empfehlung

Ich habe in Izmir einen einwöchigen Sprachkurs bei der Royal Turkish School gemacht und es war super und ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Die Gruppe war klein, das Leistungsniveau entsprach genau unseren Vorkenntnissen und unsere Lehrerin, Gülsün, war super. Sie hatte eine Engelsgeduld und hat uns dazu gebracht auch wirklich Türkisch zu sprechen und immer einen Weg gefunden, uns Sachen so zu erklären, dass wir sie verstehen. Wir sind sogar zusammen in eine Bäckerei gegangen und haben lokale Leckereien bestellt und unsere Türkischkenntnisse zum Einsatz gebracht.

Dadurch dass man den halben Tag Freizeit hatte, blieb genug Zeit, um sich die Stadt und die Sehenswürdigkeiten anzusehen.

Vorsicht, es gibt Hausaufgaben :-D und ein wirklich ansprechendes Lehr- und Übungsbuch. Eigene Bücher kann man also getrost zu Hause lassen. Ich würde dort wieder einen Kurs besuchen und werde es wahrscheinlich auch!

vielen herzlichen Dank für diese wunderbare Bewertung – wir haben uns riesig darüber gefreut! Es freut uns besonders, dass Du Dich in Izmir so wohlgefühlt hast und dass der Unterricht bei Gülsün genau zu Eurem Niveau gepasst hat. Wir richten Dein Lob sehr gerne an sie aus – über die „Engelsgeduld" wird sie sicher schmunzeln. 😊

Der Ausflug in die Bäckerei ist übrigens genau das, was wir uns wünschen: Türkisch nicht nur im Klassenzimmer, sondern mitten im Alltag. Und ja, die Hausaufgaben gehören dazu – versprochen, beim nächsten Mal gibt es wieder welche!

Wir würden uns sehr freuen, Dich bald wieder in Izmir (oder vielleicht auch mal in Istanbul) begrüßen zu dürfen. Görüşmek üzere!
