The Customer Service Standout

What sets RPM Warranty apart is their customer service. I had questions about what was and wasn't covered under my powertrain plan, and the representative took the time to walk me through every detail without rushing me off the phone. No confusing jargon, no dodging questions. When I needed to update my payment method later, that was handled in one quick call too. It's rare to find a company that actually treats customers like people. RPM earned my trust and I'll be renewing when my current plan ends.

Paid out $346 on a $3000 garage repair bill

So I had a 3000 dollar repair..control arm on my 2019 Ram 1500 and the manifold repair. The warranty covered only 436 dollars less the 100 dollar deductible meaning they covered only $346 of the almost $3000 charge. They only paid a fraction of the control arm, labor charge less than the shops standard rate which is 40% less than the dealer and nothing on the manifold repair.

One of the best things I've done for my…

One of the best things I've done for my 2018 Ford Explorer is buy an RPM Warranty. I was worried about a huge repair bill when my transmission started acting up last month. I called RPM, and they helped me with the claims process without any problems. I only had to pay a small deductible, and the repair was approved in less than a day. The shop I took it to even said RPM was one of the easiest warranty companies they've worked with. Couldn't be happier with the coverage and customer service.

This warranty is a scam.

This company is a scam and do not purchase this coverage. Their coverage states that items are covered and then in the exclusions the contract contradicts itself to where they will not fix the issue. Their contract clearly states that the map/courtesy light assembly is covered for the interior. Then when you go to the exclusions is says that they dont cover interior LED light assemblies which are the courtesy light in my truck. If you as a customer call they will agree with you but they want the dealership to call. Once the dealership calls they tell them a completely different story. After reviewing the contract all their coverage is contradicted in the exclusions to where you are spending thousands on absolutely nothing. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AT ANY COST!!!!

Worst customer experience I’ve ever…

Salesman are worse than used car salesman…Worst customer experience I’ve ever experienced. After setting up payment plan they decided to charge my account $1000 that I did not have. Then I cannot get them on the phone and they say they’re refunding…. days later when I finally talk to them they have not even started yet. These are straight up thieves.

RPM Warranty is committed to maintaining clear and accurate communication, and we would like to provide clarification regarding this situation.

The customer contacted our office requesting a modification to their existing payment plan structure. While the requested update was processed by our team, the change did not take effect prior to the next scheduled automatic draft already in processing through the banking network.

Immediately upon being notified by the customer that the draft created an issue, RPM Warranty issued a $1,000 account credit without delay to correct the situation. At no time were funds taken improperly, nor was there any intent to charge outside of the agreed contractual payment terms.

Refund and banking adjustments require standard processing timeframes once initiated, which may create the appearance of delay; however, corrective action was taken promptly following the customer’s call.

Be very careful

Be very careful. My refund was issued by then additional charges were placed on my card. Talking to a few of the people was not very pleasant. I do not feel this "contract" is what the people said and it makes too many hoops for the consumer to get your vehicle taken care of. They want to argue about any charges you make. NO I WOULD NOT DO IT AGAIN. TOO MANY HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH TO GET YOUR CAR TAKEN CARE OF.

Your account was billed on a monthly payment plan, meaning each payment was processed as a separate transaction. As a result, each transaction had to be refunded individually, which can cause refunds to appear separately and may take additional time depending on your bank’s processing speed.

All refunds have been fully issued and completed, and no further fees or charges were applied.

Paul was a great help without him. I don't know if I could have got the warranty and what it means to my family and I. He did a great job. Very courteous. Very understanding. I will definitely let other people know about this warranty service

I asked for a quote on my 2019…

I asked for a quote on my 2019 Mercedes. They wanted over $2900+ for 3 years. Not a bad price. However, they wanted the money all upfront! No payment plan offered. With their track record, I’d be highly suspect signing an auto warranty repair contract with RPM.

Deceptive

I inquired about a car warranty thinking it would be helpful to have with a used car I had recently purchased. I even did research on RPM Warranty to help confirm I was dealing with a reputable company. Once I received the contract, however, I did not agree with the terms stated, did not sign the contract, and requested a cancellation. The one gentleman in customer service - who was the only one who would answer phone calls - tried to mislead me about the value of my car and the way the warranty would work. I knew what he was telling me wasn't true as I read the contract. Trying to get my money back from RPM was impossible. I got excuses such as my credit card declined the refund two different times and the check is in the mail. My credit card company confirmed no refund had been attempted. I disputed the charge with my credit card company, based on the credit card company's recommendation. RPM denied the refund to my credit card company! And, I had never even signed the contract! Currently, my credit card company is trying to recoup the cost from RPM. They told me RPM was most likely stringing me along until the dispute period ran out so they could keep my money. Trying to deal with RPM's customer service was met with rudeness, arguing, and being told my documented conversations with them never happened. Horrible business to deal with. You will lose your money if you sign up with them. I assume the reviews I looked at before signing up are not legitimate. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company but my experience shows very differently.

I joined rpm warranty last year after…

I joined rpm warranty last year after my factory warranty expired, two months back, the whole transmission of my 2017 Ford Explorer just broke down something I never thought about. The repair shop was going to charge me more than $4,200, but, because of my RPM warranty coverage, I was on the hook for only the $100 deductible. The process was surprisingly smooth. When filing my claim, the representatives were professional and kept me informed, and the repair was approved in a few days, and they paid for my rental.
