Engineer arrived, discussed exactly where i wanted the camera and if i wanted it powered up on ignition or always on. Then took no more than 30 minutes to hard wire the unit in, and also fixed an issu... Voir plus

Really professional fitting cannot see…
Really professional fitting cannot see any wires which I was concerned about. Arrived on time and nice friendly chap but have only given 4 stars because when I asked about connecting to the Nextbase app he told me it was really easy but unfortunately it wasn’t and in the end had to contact Nextbase and they talked me through it whilst I sat in the car. Unfortunately I think people assume everyone is tech savvy but not in my case, saying that we are very happy and would recommend.

Can't fault the company or the engineer.
From beginning to end, I have nothing but good things to say RS Connect.
Booking in line was very easy. I was sent a proforma invoice and that has to be paid 72 hours before installation.
A time and date is decided and then I was updated with email, text and even a phone call to make sure things were progressing.
On the day, I had a phonecall from the engineer telling me he was an hour away.
Once he arrived, he got on with the job (Barr a couple of 10 minute intervals where the heavens opened up and soaked him through) and was done in just over an hour. The installation looks very good and he helped me connect the camera to my phone as well.
Overall a job well done for a reasonable price and by a reputable company.
Really happy to recommend RS Connect to anyone who will listen 😁
The guy who installed the cameras was…
The guy who installed the cameras was amazing and so helpful… I was told by motorpoint that I would be contacted within a week of taking delivery of my car to arrange the installation of the cameras… this didn’t happen so I had to chase to arrange the installation … the call centre weren’t very helpful … they put the wrong postcode on the order so I had to get this changed but it meant that the guy installing the cameras had 2 postcodes… I asked if I could have installation after 2pm as I am not home from work till this time … to be told I could only have a day for
Installation and if the time didn’t work I would have to cancel and rebook…. It would have been so much easier if the installation had taken place at motorpoint prior to me collecting the car…

I would give Craig the engineer who fitted my camera 5/5. He was superb, arrived early, did a neat job, answered any questions.
The company? Not quite so good. I booked an appointment in advance for April 8th 26. They called me offering to come early, on Mar 29th and 30th. Explained that I was away. They didn't bother to turn up on April 8th and when I called I was told that they had sent an email on March 31st cancelling. I wonder who they sent it to, it definitely wasn't to me. Not a good recommendation for any company to lie to a customer. I did contact The RAC shop who hires them to install - nothing they could do. Thank goodness they have excellent engineers.

An easy booking process. The fitter installed front and rear cameras and finished within 45 minutes including a brief rundown on how the cameras worked.
Terrible “Service”
Terrible customer service. Engineer lied saying he waited but instead just called and drove straight off then lied saying I wasn’t at home. Avoid having any fittings done by this company.

Nextbase front and rear dash cam fitted
I had a Nextbase front and rear dash am fitted to my car this morning (07/04/2026).
The engineer fitted the two dash cams and gave me a demo of it working.
The poor score is because he was so abusive the whole time he was on my drive. He didn’t explain anything and then blamed me for his problems.
I have also complained to the company about him.
Great job
Fitter was very knowledgeable and his work was tidy and the wiring was expertly hidden and the trim replaced without any hitches.

Bad Workmanship RS CONNECT…
DO NOT HAVE ANY WORK DONE BY RS CONNECT or Tracker network.
Bought New Lexus RX500 , paid £60,000. My insurance company Adrian flux they wants me to have extra immobiliser and tracker fitted.
I paid Adrian flux for fitting of immobiliser/tracker, tracker network organised with there contractor R S Connect come to my house to fit immobiliser.
Just after have all the work done 16th Sept 25 car get stolen at 5am in the morning. On the same day police recovery the vehicle 15 to 20 miles way from house, police called me to confirm that the damage has been done to your vehicle all internal strapped tailgate damage and so on.
My question is how did they bypass the 2nd Immobiliser so I asked tracker Network to check if immobiliser was fitted correctly, on 8th Oct 25 they send technical to Bodyshop and confirmed the immobiliser was not fitted properly & I have email from Tracker network.
Its been over 63days my vehicle is still with the Bodyshop.
I have spoken to Adrian/Razza at technical department good lad's, since Sept 25 till now they been trying there best to resolve my issues, I was asked to speak to directly to there manage Parita Patel i have made so many phone called and emails but no reply from her "very disappointed".
The only thing i can say both companies are bad has each others so I will not even give them ONE * the reputation with customer's is bad.
I may have to take legal action.

Transfer of a NextBase 622GW dashcam…
I needed to transfer a NextBase 622GW dashcam from my current car to a new purchase. Having had RS Connect install the original and been pleased with their service, it was a no-brainer to use them again. The process of requesting a quote was quite straight forward and the response was quick and efficient, as was the arranging of a suitable time and date for the installation. RS Connect were even able to offer an earlier date for the installation due to a cancellation in my area, but unfortunately when the fitter arrived, I didn't have all the necessary parts (my fault), so the installation could not take place. RS Connect were nevertheless happy for me to keep the original date and this time I ensured I had all the required parts well in advance. The fitter provided an ETA on the day and was on bang on time. I was able to discuss the various options for the location of the dashcam and the fitting was completed without issue. The work was carried out very professionally and I am very happy with the result.

The installer did a great job
The installer did a great job, the scheduling and service to get the service booked was harder than it should have been. The website booking approach did not work so had to call. If the booking service had been efficient and the kit delivery contained everything required, instead of having the one visit this required two. However as stated the service technician was excellennt and did a great job.
