Samson Outdoor Living (Samson Awnings) Avis 

Samson Outdoor Living installed my carport today. Really impressed. Micky and Jamie installed it swiftly and tidily. In the run up, Marie kept me well informed of progress with my order. Kerry was the star of the team though, when it was looking like the product I'd initially ordered wouldn't fit, she worked through the various options and came up with the perfect solution. Very satisfied with the service and highly recommend.

Very efficient and helpful. Phones answered immediately, ditto emails (so rare these days). The awning were fitted ahead of the expected time and the workmen were very friendly, efficient and tidy. I'm happy all round.

I found the whole purchase & build experience very professional. Due to other works the build date was delayed at my request without any hesitation. The build engineers were very informative & confirmed my requirements beforehand which were carried out exactly as requested. The area was left clean & tidy.

We couldn't be more thrilled with our awning. The whole process was so easy and everyone in the company is so helpful. The surveyor came out promptly and we were sent several samples to choose from. The fitters were lovely and did a great job. Such a good experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who would like the best product with the best customer service.

The team were very patient whilst we completed our new build and we repeatedly pushed back the installation date. The installation was completed in a day by really friendly knowledgeable installer. Great product super easy to use.

Excellent service and installation of our new patio Weinor Plaza Viva Optistretch Pergola awning by Samson Outdoor Living. Enquiry to installation was around 10 weeks but worth the wait. Installation engineers made it look easy (I’m sure it’s not) and were efficient and tidy. Happy to recommend them.

I am extremely pleased with my Awning including lights and heater, which was fitted earlier this month, and can’t wait to have the opportunity to use it properly for the first time.

The showroom in Wellingborough was useful to get a feel for the quality and options. Oliver was helpful and later responded quickly to our email queries.
The product itself is top quality from Germany and arrived well packaged. We had a custom powder coating which was well worth it to match our house.
The installation team were very proficient, thoughtful and tidy.
Overall a very smooth and reassuring experience. We would certainly recommend to others.
The only irritation in the experience was being asked to pay the remaining 50% balance prior to work starting (we appreciate this was in the terms of the contract). We said we'd like to inspect the goods first before paying but in the end we weren't pressed for payment on the day and settled up after the installers had left.
We're looking forward to the summer heat with far less trepidation now!

Purchased the Samson 5500 awning with manual override surveyed, ordered and installed within two weeks. Lovely product really happy with service provided by Daniel and team.

After 24 years our two Ventolite 'side by side' full cassette awnings (3.5m and 4.0m) started to show their age, so we visited Samson Outdoor Living, Wellingborough to seek replacements.
We were very impressed with Oliver Villette's advice and knowledge of the products, and it was wonderful to discover that we were able to have one 7.0m awning. Oliver demonstrated the quality and showed us the design of the Markilux 1600 awning, and this is what we ordered.
Oliver completed the survey very promptly and the awning is now installed. We are delighted with the product, and we were very pleased with the efficiency and helpfulness of the whole Team at Samson. Thank you.

with hindsight I would not pick this company to supply my simplicity glass veranda. It all started well with sales bending over backwards saying we can get the design perfect for our needs but after ordering I felt let down and on the tundra after installation. The actual design was actually the easiest for them to have a quick and easy installation and not what I actually wanted in terms of full external coverage. The installation was carried out by contractors travelling from Yorkshire so not the local workman I was expecting and found them a little off hand with me during the process at the end of the installation the guttering downpipes was not as I was expecting it to be and had not been advised of this and the incorrect parts supplied to them. This was never addressed properly by Samson Awnings and was sorted by my landscape gardener. After a few weeks a leakage of the veranda and guttering profile which required several call backs from the Yorkshire installers who eventually were not able to resolve the leakages properly and further communication via several emails and phone calls with Samson was ignored.
I eventually contacted the manufacturers (Millwood Group) of the simplicity veranda asking why my veranda was leaking and if it was a design fault. They contacted Samson asking them to resolve my issue but they never replied and I was finally put in touch with a new company now selling and installing verandas as Samson apparently no longer do them! The new company was actually the original installers who sent some young men round to correctly seal the guttering and leaking pane.
This held good for a few months but is now leaking again. Not that happy but I do love my veranda just a bit if a nightmare experience and defiantly not well looked after by Samson!!

I purchased a Weinor Opal awning with all the bells and whistles, which represented a massive investment for me so I was very careful where I spend my money. Samson Awnings was an excellent choice after inquiring with a few other providers. Their team, Oli V. and the rest, worked hard to ensure I was happy with the purchase and installation, and had also kept informed at every stage.

Samson have recently fitted two awnings to the rear of our house to protect from the afternoon sun and we are absolutely delighted with both the quality of the products and the service from start to finish. Just wish we had done it years ago!
