Our founder Maggie started Sarta in 2006 as a side hustle while studying at Glasgow University. Sarta means dressmaker in Italian, the name inspired by her beloved extended family. She started by designing scarves and small accessories and selling them in craft fairs and markets. Upon graduation, Maggie opened a small boutique and begun her full-time creative journey into fashion. Since those early days, Maggie has grown Sarta into a fashion-led lifestyle brand: Sarta UK. Working closely with a small team of Scottish based designers Maggie continues to create colourful clothing, clothing which is designed to bring joy. Behind The Seams Our design team has created a diverse and colourful range of catwalk inspired clothing with each seasonal collection featuring a limited range of modern prints, colours and unique patterns available as dresses, tops and jumpsuits as well as season items. Our range of colourful fashionable clothing also includes a collection of sustainably sourced natural fibre clothing, Sarta Naturale. This exclusive range of fashion led designs are all made from 100% Cotton and other natural fibres. Sarta UK is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our business. We have consciously moved towards adopting a zero-waste production policy. Our clothing is manufactured with no landfill contribution. All of our material off cuts are reused and made into our range of colourful hair accessories. All of our clothing is sized on British clothing standards. At Sarta UK, everything you see has been personally fitted by our designers by using a variety of diverse body shapes. Our user-friendly reliable sizing is something we take pride in. Our design team are passionate about creating clothing you can feel good about.

Where is the information to return…

Where is the information to return items? I have emailed the address on the website. They stipulate 14 day return window but there is no process to initiate your own return. No response from company.
This is a problem!!! Possible scam?

Excellent quality & speedy delivery.

Really pleased with my Quinn half moon cross body bag and colourful straps - excellent quality and very fast delivery. Very well wrapped too. Used on two mini trips and it was perfect. Thank you!

I need to return an item I ordered from…

I need to return an item I ordered from Sarta&Co via Debenhams marketplace. I’ve emailed them directly at the email address supplied by Debenhams to arrange the return as advised by Debenhams but have had no reply. I have no idea how or where to return the item in order to obtain a refund

17 days and still not arrived

After 17 days I have still not received my package. They have asked me to write a review. Before I did that, I checked if it had actually been shipped and the problem was therefore not them. But no. It has not even been shipped. You girls need to do better. It's 2026. You wont survive with service like this. I have emailed you to help but you have not replied.

A beautiful jumpsuit in Navy velvet

A beautiful jumpsuit in Navy velvet, perfect for winter/party wear.
Sadly my figure did not do it justice and I reluctantly returned.
But I would recommend to anyone with no big tummy !!
A dress in this material would be lovely.
I found ordering and return really speedy and refund sent immediately.
I will keep looking on Sarta website and look forward to seeing Spring and Summer styles.
Sarta is a great find !

Return via email service

Trying to return unsuitable product ordered via Debenhams. No response from this company
Update they have now contacted me as said they had a technical fault, a very helpful lady sent me a return label. I will be updating with more stars once I receive my refund

I sent the return, the company received the return and there has been no contact with them. When will I receive confirmation of the return and my money back?

Poor quality and finishings

Poor quality and finishings. I had to ask twice for a return label. When I finally got it, the link froze my computer and I haven’t been able to use it since!

They then replied to this here, but have not contacted me since. Appalling behaviour.

Refunds are difficult to arrange

Been trying to contact the company for over a week to arrange a refund and unfortunately received no contact back. It seems very difficult to get in touch with anyone - tried emailing two different email addresses and sending a message on their website and the cut off time is in a few days. The item was absolutely fine and as described but it is just too big.

I bought an item from this company via the Debenhams website. I have requested a refund via an email address provided but no one is responding to my emails, so I don’t know how to get the item returned for a refund
