Unprofessional, Unethical, and Unacceptable, Avoid This Company
My experience with this company in the Französische Str. 12, 10117 Berlin is extremely disappointing.
Already in the first weeks of our collaboration, they repeatedly opened my postal mail without my permission; a serious breach of trust and potentially unlawful. Despite my explicit warning, they continued this behavior.
Additionally, I had to endure discriminatory remarks made personally by the company's representative during phone calls.
The disrespectful tone in later email, especially the degrading comparison of my concerns to "apples and pears" was equally unacceptable.
Furthermore, the company unilaterally changed the price structure without informing me in advance. They informed the clients on 27.01.2025 but they raised the prices on 01.01.2025.
I was only made aware of the rent increase after I asked about it myself. Their justification was simply "rising operational costs."
I did not accept the rent increase and requested to cancel the contract which was my legal right under such circumstances but they refused to accept my cancellation.
On top of that, this company charges clients for every email reply they send, even when the email concerns important contractual issues like rent increases.
After responding to my inquiry about the rent increase, they actually charged me an additional fee. Only after I filed a complaint did they remove this charge from my invoice.
Moreover, the contract we had no longer meets the legal requirements for a proper business premises for a rental car company. This is supported by a recent decision of the Administrative Court of Berlin (VG 11 L 20/25), which confirmed that co-working spaces are not acceptable for such businesses.
I asked several times to cancel my contract, but the director of this co-working space continued to refuse my cancellation and repeatedly treated me disrespectfully.
Given the pattern of behavior, I cannot help but wonder if I was treated unfairly because of my background.
For all these reasons, I cannot recommend this co-working space especially under the current management. "I believe it’s important to share my experience widely, and I will do so on other public forums."
