Awful Experience

Avoid at all costs. I ordered 22 handles from "Grip Handles" who are the same company. The order did not turn up despite being promised on several occasions that we would receive them. They even generated a Royal Mail tracking number to keep me quiet for a couple of days but still never sent the order.
After this, they stopped responding to emails and I could not get hold of anyone on the phone. I eventually had to initiate a refund claim with Amex, after which I did receive an email from them blaming an issue with their email server and promising a free of charge replacement. This sounded like fair compensation but these never turned up either!

Yet again, they stopped responding to emails.

We had to urgently find alternatives from elsewhere to complete our kitchen, all very stressful and definitely a company to avoid.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. Requested a refund weeks ago and they claimed not to have received the email. Subsequently they have not responded to a single email. Company is criminal. Can only be described as theft.

STAY AWAY!!!!

Disgusting joke of a company, zero communication with this business after order for four handles, £50 down the drain no where near as bad as some of you that have left reviews, but money is money and these guys are scam artists, stay away from these scum bags.

DO NOT BUY from this company. Returned £70 worth of handles and never received a refund after months of chasing. No response to any of my emails. Completely ignored. Looking at reviews on facebook and here on trustpilot seems like a consistent issue with this company

Absolutely ridiculous

Absolutely ridiculous. Made an order nearly a month ago, received 3 of the handles and the rest still missing. Sent a few emails, none of them have been replied. Spent nearly over £100 but no handles, avoid if you can.

Mistakes Were Made

Unfortunately purchased prior to reading the reviews - I had 2 emails from then in total full of false promises, thankfully I purchased on PayPal and I have received my money back today.

Please avoid and if you have purchased begin your claim for a refund by whatever means.

I feel such an idiot for not reading these reviews first!
Sent an order in April. Received an email to say then had my order, then nothing.
No response to my emails asking if the handles are in stock or request for a refund.

Items never arrived, Ghosted by customer service.

Still no sign of my order.

2nd March - Placed my order for delivery, with delivery said to be "on or before 09.03"

27th March - we sent an email, as they still had not arrived.

1st April - We got a response from Scandihandles "We have a production date of Monday 6th April so we can expect to receive these mid next week. Once received by our warehouse we will dispatch using next day delivery"

29th April - Still no delivery, we sent an email that has had no response.

5th May - Still no delivery, we sent an email that has had no response.

11th May - Still no delivery, we sent an email that has had no response.

Very disappointed with this company, appalling customer service with zero communication.

I would like to know where my order is and when it will be delivered as a matter of absolute priority.

I wish I could rate my experience lower than 1 star. It has been absolutely appalling. I have not received my handles and despite multiple emails, I have not heard anything for weeks. I shall be taking them to the Small Claims Court as this is illegal at this point.

I wish I could leave a 0 star review to be honest. I’m not sure if anyone’s ever received items from this company after reading the reviews and really wish I had read them before purchasing! I ordered at the end of march and never recieved any tracking info so when I contacted them last week to ask where my order was, I was told they had been waiting for a shipment to come in, so why I was sold an ‘in stock’ item that wasn’t in stock, I’m not sure. They said it would be with me maybe Friday but more likely Monday, and I should now receive tracking, I still haven’t received tracking or my items and had no response from the company for the past 3 days. Today I got an email saying they haven’t been receiving emails but they will get back to me later today. I have since put through a PayPal complaint, so I am still waiting for my money back. They also have a company called grip handles, which I assume is also a scam, so don’t buy from them either!!

I’m not sure if this company exists. They haven’t shipped any ordered products and haven’t communicated at all. However I did get my money back through PayPal. Don’t buy from them! It was a complete waste of time.

Would not order from this company again

Wouls not order from this company again. I have waited nearly 5mths for my order. I receieved some of the items in dribs and drabs but am still waiting on last remaining bits. I tried to cancel order but they sent items anyway. Also in terms of quality,my handles are nice but nothing special had i seen in person i wouldnt have bought and would have been better going with handles from my kitchen provider where I could view first.Customer service in recent weeks has been better but I still wish I never ordered from them in first place

To echo most others experiences…
Very poor communication - nil proactive and very slow reactive response citing courier error as reason for delay ( a standard reply from reading other experiences on here) this included promise that this would be resolved within same day or following few days.
No reply to my response email asking for cancellation and refund.
Live chat is a misnomer.
After a couple of weeks I started a PayPal dispute which they again did not respond to.
I escalated to a claim and was refunded within 24 hours.
Avoid.

Dear Jo, We are very sorry for the experience you received. Unfortunately at the start of this year we ran into trouble as a business caused by external factors with shipments of stock/orders going missing on its way to us and having to make multiple replacement orders with our supplier. If this happens at any other point in the year then it is not a problem but to happen at this time caused very serious consequences to the point where we were unsure if we could continue to trade. We are now back on track with all orders and making sure our communication is as it should be. Again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Terrible experience, bad customer service, scam company

I really don't write reviews unless the experience is just terrible, so here we are. Ordered some handles which said they were in stock, they then emailed saying they weren't in stock (annoying but that's okay. I didn't mind waiting). But then I waited and waited, with no communication or updates from them. I had to chase periodically. The date kept moving backwards, to the point where over two months had passed. They then stopped replying altogether, so I did a chargeback with the bank (which I've never had to do before). What I can't understand is why is the customer service so terrible? What is the actual point in running a business so badly? Surely it's easier to just... not bother.

Please just close your business because it's bottom of the barrel terrible and looks like a scam company. Wish I had read reviews online before ordering. Thanks for completely wasting my time!

Products do not exist

Placed an order at the start of January. Allegedly despatched 3 weeks later but does not go any further on Royal Mail tracking than 'sender have despatched item'. A month on and nothing. Slick website and great looking products that do NOT exist. Stay well clear.

Please accept our apologies for your order. As a business we have had many issues with logistics and this was a case of Royal Mail collecting your order but the parcel not arriving at the depot. We then had to re-order from the supplier and from looking at our tracking delivered back on 12/12. We have tried over the last year many different logistics companies and sadly they all have their issues depending on the location of collection or delivery. Although Royal Mail have their issues they have been the best of a bad bunch. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, we know our communication was not what it should have been and that is something that has been addressed and corrected.

Please do not order from this company. We placed an order and paid for £2k+ of special handles. Originally told 2 weeks, then 2 more week, then 2 more weeks and now we do not get any response to emails. We have contacted the manufacturer of these handles directly to see if they know of "SCANDIHANDLES" but they do not and have received no order for the handles we have order.......... Do not give this company your money
