Schneider Avis 6

I previously gave a favorable review for the dog coat we received. The quality & (clearance) price were great. My issue: I ordered two coats for our two dogs on Dec. 28, 2023. Received one on Jan. 8. Found out on the 9th that the second one was out of stock in the color ordered. Was told an alternate color would be sent. Now, here it is the 12th of Jan. & STILL haven't received it. They charged $10.00 to ship though. Shipping is in need of some efficiency!

In the past it was a good company. So when I lost my job and bills were due I decided to go back and for them again. So I started as a rehire on 7-3-23. I used to work for them in 2015 to 2017, so I assumed they were still good. Unfortunately, I had my time wasted at orientation and 3 weeks on the road and only made $1300. That's $6.75 and hour. Below minimum wage. I filed a complaint with FMCSA for that and for forcing me drive sick, be up over 24 hours and they even tried to convince me to take an overweight load. This company has changed drastically. After only making $1300 by 8-3-23 and receiving a final check which brought the total to $2000 by 8-6-23. I quit. I am now two months behind on my rent thanks to Schneider! It's a horrible feeling having your time wasted. Having a job, but not making any money. I'm about to have to get out of my place now and hopefully pay off this rent debt to get another place. Thanks Schneider! Do not work for this company as a driver. You will go broke.

absolute disaster. DO NOT USE this company to carry any of your freight !!. My company hired them to ship one FTL within 2 cities in Texas. It took them 3 weeks to move the products, I had to write emails after emails. I even had to step in to make a pick-up appointment for them. They do not know what they are doing and need a lot of hand holding. The few bucks you save with them is not worth the aggravation and headaches. A pure nightmare.

Incident happened at Camping World, Gulf Breese, Florida, approx: 10:00 am on 17 July 2023, Schneider was making a delivery and was blocked in by my motorhome. Personnel from Camping World was directing myself and the Schneider driver when he just kept coming forward (after the camping world personnel) told him to stop and reposition. The result was the trailer hit the motor home. The driver just said it was my fault and left without saying anything else. He did not even leave his tractor to see what had happened.

Schneider picked up a load for us on 1/21/22. Driver was 3.75 hours late for pick up. We had to ask several times for updates on when the driver would be there after being told he was 6 miles from the pick up, then an hour and half later being told he was 15 miles away. Driver made is 15 minutes before closing. After loading they dropped the load in their yard 45 minutes north in the opposite direction. Load sat there for 5 days. Load was supposed to deliver on Monday the 24th. After multiple emails and excuses/ reasons as to why they could not get a driver under the load and reschedules on our part, they finally picked it up, only to receive another email that now the driver is broke down after making it 209 miles and it will need to be rescheduled again. It has taken them 6 days to take it a total of 209 miles and 5 service failures for our customer- All for a prepaid load on our part and $4.70 a mile. We have had to ask for continuous updates on our part all to be told that they would expect professional courtesy in us not making accusations regarding their excuses and instead an understanding that they are all working towards the same goals of getting the shipment delivered. Might I add this is our first load with them.

Lovely trucking company to work with are honest and very forward thinking company . Never had any issues with delivery and or pickup. Communication with all levels of this company are professional. Would be happy to recommend this trucking company to all. They look after their drivers more than any other trucking company i know and that is so important to me as it is the driver who has my freight from the moment it gets picked up to when it gets delivered !
