Trying to get cancellation of your account is a nightmare. WARNING: The first time I called the representative said my account was canceled (it was not). Thinking it was canceled I did not pay attention and it showed up again. This time the employee told me that I did not stop membership because I did not select the box on the website. Then I get a letter that the refund was not approved. Run away there service suggestion dropped my credit 20 points.
Zero communication from ScoreSense.
When you call to cancel service all they want is to is continue talking about staying on with their service and not listen to the customer regarding the extremely poor service and lack of no leadership monitoring the company activities. There is zero monthly reporting sent to the customer, no follow-NOTHING!

revolving charge just discovered on my credit card. never signed up to be billed $30. to $40. per month. why would I do this ? they claim I signed up for $1.00 /7days, maybe did. but then I would have cancelled the $30.00 monthly charge. only reason this charge didn't keep going after not seeing it for 19 months is because I decided to check all my credit cards after my American Express card was hacked to make a fraudulent charge of almost $1600.00. Aren't credit cards magical ?
ScoreSense debited my checking account without my permission for 29.00 Beware this is a scam company.
This company baits you into a membership, by offering an expedited Credit Score inquiry. To get the Credit Score you enter normal personal identifying information. After you join, you cannot immediately quit. You have a 7- day period to cancel but you can't cancel for the first day or two, while they "set up your membership". They do not send you email or text reminders that they are charging your account monthly. If you use your Credit Card a lot it is easy to miss the $30.00 monthly charge. They offer no services that are not readily available for free on the internet or via a Credit Reporting Agency request. Their services are worthless, unless you are looking for a place to throw away $30/month.
$49.95 is what they've charge me. I've called them, e-mailed them to cancel everything and they won't!! Stay clear from them. WHY? WHY? WHY? Would I pay that price when you can pay a hell of a lot cheaper price for the same thing. Time to take action to get my money back.
I signed up with Scoresense to get all my credit scores and reports, but they use a quasi-scoring system that is deceptively much higher than my REAL FICO scores that I get directly from the credit agencies, almost 100 points off. It's just not accurate. The service is VERY expensive as well.
On the upside, cancellation through the chat feature was fairly easy.
Just be warned that this is not a site to get your credit scores which creditors use to assess your suitability for credit. You need to go directly to the 3 credit agencies to get those.
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!! They offer a free week and then upon trying to cancel the subscription they will either hang up on you or if you use the chat service, log you out of your account before they cancel your subscription. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!
I don't ever recall signing up for this. Also, what they told me my credit scores were did not match what I got directly from the individual agencies.
I was charged $ 39.95. I called to cancel with the representative and escalate the issue and they sent an email refund status stating I would not receive my refund.
This sucks because they did nothing
They are scam artists. Can't cancel the account online. if you remove your payment method they still have it stored and will keep using it. If you call and want to cancel they will do everything they can to delay you, including hanging up.
This company does not provide anything worth any money. Use credit karma free services. You won't get spam in your box and again IT"S FREE... I tried to get a refund, a couple days late due to car accident and they would not help me. So I am left with an almost 50 charge from this bogus spamming garbage... AGAIN DO NOT BUY THIS
I was charged for 3 months of service that I never signed up for. When I called to request a refund, it was denied. Don't ever do any business with this company. They are a complete scam. You can see all the negative reviews they have.
I had this for several months.
Checked on it once or twice and forgot about it. Kept getting charged and I didn't notice. When I did notice I called to cancel on the 4th of July (they charged on the 2nd of July) try to get a refund for that month. They denied. Will not be recommending this service. They're are better services available
I was given a one year subscription as a customer of a company that had a data breach. After the one year subscription ended they just started charging me. I cancelled and asked for a refund which they denied because "you did not cancel before the end of your 7 day free trial". I never signed up for any free trial! Ridiculous.
Scoresense was contracted using my card by a mortgage broker. They continued to charge me after the initial report.
Gave me $1 refund and kept my $29.95 on a service I did not want. That's the kind of s__t that's gets you bad reviews. Saw a lot of bad ones for the same reason. You figure if they truly believed in their product they would give a refund when not needed. WHATEVER YOU DO STAY CLEAR OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH AFTER 7 DAYS. THEY WILL NOT REFUND!!!!
