I would like to share my recent experience while subcontracting for a company where a team leader named Emily was responsible for coordinating job assignments. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues during this time that I believe are important to highlight for the benefit of others.
In my experience, the management—particularly under Emily's leadership—demonstrated poor communication and inadequate people management skills. Without receiving any complaints about the performance of my cleaner, we were abruptly asked to resign from the job. There appeared to be a lack of professionalism in how cleaners and subcontractors were treated, at times making us feel undervalued.
Additionally, payments for completed work were significantly delayed, which created financial stress and uncertainty. Timely payment is essential, especially for subcontractors and cleaners who rely on this income to support themselves and their families.
It is important for companies to recognize that their workers are a vital resource and should be treated with fairness and respect.
To those considering working with this company—whether as a cleaner, subcontractor, or client—I encourage you to take these concerns into account before making your decision.
