Outstanding service…
Having searched for a particular pasta machine and finding it sold out at most places I would normally shop from John Lewis to Lakeland I came across Season and found it. It arrived the next day and delivery was free of charge. On top of the great service it was also cheaper than the price quoted on the same machine on Amazon. In these weird times it was very uplifting! The machine was exactly what I ordered and in perfect condition, I will certainly look at this company again for cookery equipment.

Purchase not arrived. Three emails sent, no reply.
Have sent three emails to this company and had no reply. Ordered an item that was supposed to be shipped in two days. It’s been two weeks and I’ve heard nothing. Very poor, cannot recommend.

Hi Jamie. Apologies - I see you've sent some emails in since Thursday. We've been slower with dealing with emails this week as around half our staff are off with this whole Covid mess - back to normal this coming week. This item is on pre-order - it says in bold at the top of the product page, we're taking pre-orders while Le Creuset await stock, coming into the country next month. (I appreciate people don't always read the text - in normal circumstances, we don't have pre-order notices - we can usually get stock just fine!) Poor communication but good in cancellation of order
I ordered some Le Crueset saucepans from Seasons as they were a good price. As soon as I’d ordered them I got an email saying the order was confirmed but no suggestion of any delivery date.
I waited a few days and hadn’t heard anything so I called and was told I’m in a queue of around 200 so the best I could hope for was a couple of weeks but they couldn’t guarantee it.
I asked for the order to be cancelled and it was without any fuss. The money was repaid quickly back into my account but it’s a shame about the lack of communication around deliveries.
I actually found the pan set a staggering £45 cheaper elsewhere (and Seasons had them at a good price!) and they have now been delivered within a few days.

Hi Lee. Apologies you found the communications not on point. We do have a notification in bold at the top of the product page that we are taking pre-orders for this item, with the expected delivery date. I appreciate this is unusual - it is for us - pre-Covid we had no need for such notices, as we could always get stock! As it says, these are expected to arrive in 5 days or so, as quoted by Le Creuset, but my colleague was right - due to all the uncertainties at the moment, we cannot be absolutely 100% until goods actually arrive, and we wouldn't want to risk promising something we may not be able to deliver. Glad you found that we wrapped this up promptly though, although it's a shame we had to lose you! We get our products from Le Creuset UK, as we are authorised stockists. Le Creuset themselves are waiting for these sets, so yes, our price is excellent, and it's very surprising that someone can get these when Le Creuset UK themselves don't have any, and sell them at less than cost price! Staggering indeed! Thanks for the feedback. We are about to switch on an automated notification system we've been working on for pre-order items to make things super clear - we agree - there was room for improvement here. All the best, Jason

I recently ordered a le creuset cast iron casserole pot - season cookshop were cheaper than anyone else I found online (it's lockdown). Then I realised that I had ordered the wrong colour by mistake. I called them within 2 hours, and they got a message to their warehouse and delivered my beautiful pot the next day. Great price, great service.

I felt I had to write this review after reading some poor reviews about communicating. I recently placed an order for a pasta maker on next day delivery when it wasn’t despatched I emailed them to ask why, they replied the same day and the pasta maker was on preorder which I didn’t read before placing my order. I was offered a refund which I accepted and this was processed straight away. First class customer service, thank you

Excellent in every way
Excellent in every way! Fabulous range of quality products, great pricing. Above all, first class helpful service over the telephone to answer our questions. Despatch/delivery prompt and efficient and the goods very, very well packaged. Will deal with Season again and highly recommend them.

Fantastic response after a problem
So after an issue with the item I received I had a call from the Director and we've found a way to resolve it quickly without fuss. Very refreshing customer experience that's rare in online retail.
