THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY EFFICIENT

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY EFFICIENT. HE REALISED THAT THE DVR WAS NOT CONNECTED - 3 WIRES HAD INSULATING TAPE AROUND THEM! ALSO DVR WAS NOT SYNCED WITH MY PHONE.
SOON REMEDEED AND ALL WORKING WELL.

Here we go again

Here we go again. Had the system 6 years and its generally been 50% without problems. I had a spate of not receiving the alerts over emails which has never really been sorted - the last went off line about 2 months ago and I just gave up. Now the cameras wont play back and wont load although the system seems fine. Its just been one thing after another. Tbf most issues do get sorted but only to repeat themselves a few weeks later. I wish I'd gone elsewhere.

I am writing to express my frustration…

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the lack of proper service and communication related to our CCTV DVR issue. Despite numerous attempts, I have not been able to get an engineer to come and check the DVR properly. People do not pick up the phone, and the DVR has not even been taken out of the cage for investigation.

Our machine has been faulty for over two months, and we still do not have an engineer to fix the issue or provide a replacement as agreed. Instead of sending an engineer, I only received calls asking me, as a customer, to open the DVR myself and try to take out the hard disk. I have already refused this and demanded a proper engineer to come and investigate, but there has been no further update.

We need a proper functioning continuous working CCTV ASAP as we need to check stock movements and other information.

Considering the distance between our location and your London office is only 30-40 minutes, I find this delay unacceptable. Please address this matter urgently and ensure an engineer is dispatched promptly to resolve the issue.

I am very happy I chose to fit CCTV…

I am very happy I chose to fit CCTV cameras at my property with Securico CCTV. Customer service was excellent from them. I would like to thank Michael as he was great in helping me to choose the right package within my budget I was looking for. On the day of installation everything was explained to me nicely by James and he even cleaned as he went when installing the cameras.

I made a few internet enquiries and…

I made a few internet enquiries and waited for companies to contact me. Securico were the only ones to call me back. I liked that the initial sales person asked about my current system & what had gone wrong. From that initial consultation I was given a price to fix my current system. Their price was a quarter of what a local firm quoted me! I had a think and later made contact & paid a deposit. They came the next day and did exactly what they said they would. I have a great system up and running that I can see on all my devices and TVs.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We had house cameras installed two weeks ago off the back of a recommendation. Salesman Sam was amazing and helpful, Sergio the installer was tidy and courteous. Installed within 2 days of purchase

I've just had an enquiry as the clocks didn't change with BST, Luke followed up my email enquiry this morning with a telephone call and corrected the system within minutes.

Amazing customer service from start to finish and by the looks of it, for the duration and moving forward.

Cannot recommend highly enough

All was done in a timely manner

All was done in a timely manner, engineer was very efficient and polite. A bit disappointed that at no time was the £250 offered which was the offer text we answered that instigated the upgrade, hey ho.

CCTV User Guide Improvement

Following an email exchange with Securico, I have amended my review to reflect the fact that there has been an acknowledgement that more could be done to support customers - particularly when out of warranty and aside from selling extended warranty. If a customer calls for support for extenuating circumstances and is out of warranty - what should happen is the courtesy of directing them quickly to the relevant guide that will resolve the immediate crisis. In addition, the User Guides should be reviewed by a selection of customers including people with accessibility requirements to ensure they comply with Best Practice. If the customer is given this level of customer service there should be no need for a hard sell on warranty extensions. How a company act towards customers post-sale has the biggest impact on repeat sales and new sales.

As part of our "welcome" email series we sent various tips and advice, one of which was on the subject of "Do you know how to export footage?".

We recommended in the email that customers should learn how to export footage, stating:

"sometimes video evidence is a crucial requirement to put a stop to antisocial behaviour or to bring an offender to justice, for example.

"You'll want to know how to export your footage if something does happen. And it's best to be prepared."

In this email we explained two ways to export footage and provided manuals.

We also stated "And if you need any further help after using the guides, the fastest way to get support is by filling out the support form at securicocctv.co.uk/support"

We are here for all customers, throughout their warranty which is usually 1 year, sometimes 2 years.

We also offer highly discounted extended warranties which customers have every right to not take up, but we do explain in detail the benefits of having extended warranty including having telephone technical support.
