End of 50 years caravanning!
I first contacted 'sellingyourcaravan.co.uk' last October and found the website straight forward and easy to use. We could not agree terms then as I wanted to sell 10 weeks later and they could not quote that far in the future. I understood and resurrected the request in February when Richard was excellent. He accepted the details that I had previously submitted and, due to the disclosed damp problem, had to get authorization to quote £3,500/£4,000 subject to viewing. Arrangements were made to meet where the caravan was in storage and follow up communication was frequent. Richard and Bradley arrived at the agreed time and were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately the 'van had suffered more damage while in storage and a much reduced offer was made. Although I could have disputed some of their findings I needed to sell the 'van and accepted their offer. They arranged for the office to make the bank transfer and the money was in account before they left.
ALTHOUGH THIS MAY READ SLIGHTLY NEGATIVELY I DO REALISE THAT MY 'VAN WAS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION AND sellingyourcaravan ARE IN BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY IN A DIFFICULT TIME WITH HIGH EXPENCES (TRAVEL TO VIEW AND COLLECT & THE NEED TO MAKE CARAVANS SALEABLE ETC) BEFORE REALISING A PROFIT.
At the end of the day I could have refused their offer with no cost to me but I wanted to sell and they enabled me to achieve my need in a helpful way.
