I had been looking to purchase a timeshare at Regal Vistas in Massanutten Resort for some time. I own another timeshare in fall there and I wanted one that would accommodate me and my two sons and their families during the summer, especially when the water park is open. So when I saw an offering at this service, I approached it with some apprehension, expecting pushy sales folks and such. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they made it to complete the purchase. All of it was online and documents exchanged through DocuSign. The process took a couple of months, but I was in no rush and given the rules around real estate, it was handled well and I received the deed as expected in early February after starting around Christmas. They kept me well informed throughout and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a timeshare in the open market.

They use deceptive practices to earn your business. When I was thinking about signing up they mentioned it was likely to sell in 6 months and it's been a year. Every time I call for an update all they recommend is for me to drop the price. They don't market or do much else but list it on their website and the won't give you your money back.

Their communication was regular as we moved through the sale and they always answered my calls and questions. (With a live representative!) I would highly recommend their services.

Een jaar geleden mijn timeshare aangeboden via SMTN. Er werd toen gezegd dat de prijs realistisch was en dat verkoop binnen afzienbare tijd zou plaatsvinden. Nu, een jaar later, is de vraagprijs al met 50% gedaald, en zelfs dat lijkt niet genoeg. Nog geen enkele reactie ontvangen van geïnteresseerden.

De service is werkelijk schandalig. Geen enkel advies, communicatie is traag of ontbreekt volledig, klachten worden simpelweg genegeerd. Er wordt nergens op gereageerd, geen uitleg, geen opvolging. Ondertussen gebeurt er niets.

Er is bovendien flink betaald voor zogenaamde “maintenance protection”, wat achteraf volledig waardeloos blijkt. Het voelt alsof ik ben opgelicht. Afgezet en compleet aan mijn lot overgelaten.

Zeer teleurgesteld en boos. Wil gewoon mijn timeshare verkopen, maar heb geen idee meer hoe SMTN überhaupt in beweging te krijgen is.

I would highly recommend SMTSN. They keep you informed through the whole process of your sale. Very friendly. This was my first experience with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We had a great experience with our purchase of a timeshare through "Sell My Timeshare Now." What was supposed to be 3-4 months to complete actually took less than two weeks! Everything was handled with incredible expertise and we appreciated a seamless transition!

Why would this be started as "What went wrong this time?" That has a rather negative sound to it. I would like these 5-star people to let us know how they succeeded. I have had my timeshare with SMTN for a while now and I don't even get a phone call from them. I do, however, see a lot of 1-star reviews on other sites so maybe I'm on the wrong site.

My wife and I purchased a timeshare through sell my timeshare now. The agents were excellent they helped me through every process every step of the way. The contract and transition went smooth with no problems. I would recommend anyone that’s looking to purchase a timeshare use sell my timeshare now.

I send a lot of emails to the customer care to cancel the contract because it is still within 10 days. But I don't receive any response from the customer care since that.

It's a pity that you can't give a zero rating or less. Our properties have been on sale in the USA for nearly 2 years now. Paid our fees and get nothing back. I have left countless messages and sent many emails requesting to speak to somebody and they are all hiding. I'm starting to think it's just a scam. It seems to me that they only want to help customers based in the USA and NOT the UK.

This company deserves ZERO stars. It's a giant scam. DO NOT waste your dollars on this site. I should have known better. The old adage stands: If it sounds too good to be true, it is!

Title: SMTN is a Scam – They Take Your Money and Disappear

If I could give SMTN zero stars, I would. My partner and I were newly postpartum and looking for a legitimate way to sell our timeshare. After being bombarded with marketing emails about their Maintenance Fee Protection Program, we finally called in. The salesperson was incredibly friendly, reassuring, and made us believe this was a smart investment. They promised that our HOA fees would be reimbursed as long as our listing was available, and that similar listings were selling “left and right.” It all sounded great—so we paid $2,400 to list our timeshare, thinking we’d get that back (and more) within a year.

Fast forward a year later—our once-responsive salesperson vanished, replaced by generic automated emails. We later found out that in order to get reimbursed for HOA fees, SMTN had to first rent out our timeshare and get paid themselves—something we were never told upfront. And just when we thought this couldn’t get worse, we were told we now had to pay another $150 to remain in the “maintenance reimbursement program”—a cost that was conveniently left out of our initial conversation.

When I called in to express my frustration, they had the audacity to ask if I had referenced the contract with all the fine print outlining these details. No, I didn’t—because we had a newborn, were exhausted, and desperate for help. We were the perfect customers for their scam—too overwhelmed to comb through every hidden clause in a contract while just trying to survive life with a newborn. They know exactly who they’re preying on.

At this point, it’s clear SMTN is just a money trap. They rope you in with false promises, take thousands of dollars, and then disappear. You’re left doing all the work yourself to market and sell your listing, while they refuse to provide real customer service. When I asked why I couldn’t even get a real person to check in on my listing, they gave me the ridiculous excuse that “everyone is on different time zones.” Seriously??

SMTN does not care about you. They only care about getting your money. Unless you want to waste thousands on a useless listing, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this company.

Our experience with the Maintenance Fee Protection Program, provided as part of the services of SellMyTimeshareNow had been excellent as of today. We had benefit from this program for two years now. The process is easy to comply with and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This program had made more worthy our decision of using SMTN services for the sale of our timeshare.

Horrible experience! Poor customer service. Had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back.
