What makes the experience great are the lovely family who own the business. They are extremely helpful, not pushy at all and are happy to spend as much time as needed in showing you everything you need to know about the machines that you are looking at. You can tell that they are what I call real people's people! I have been to a lot of shops that sell machines who are only interested in doing a very quick sale without finding out what it is that you want the machine to do and are very pushy, once they realise that you may only be looking at that time then their attitude changes!! Once I walked into this shop I knew within minutes of being there that this was the shop that I wanted to spend my hard earned cash with!! If I could give 10 stars then I would!

Absolutely fantastic.

I have been to this shop quite a few times over the last five years, and every time the staff have been extremely helpful, and what's more, happy to help! They have checked over and serviced my current machine a few times, re-wired an old 1930/40's sewing machine, and a year or two ago provided me with an overlocker.

The prices are very reasonable, and the friendly advice I have received has been free.

Chrissie and Holly could not have been more friendly and helpful on my first visit. Chrissie was fantastic on my subsequent visits to actually purchase my machine and table.

Somehow I managed to break the machine needle and I was concerned that it may cause issues with the mechanism. On phoning the store ,I was immediately invited to bring the machine in. It was checked thoroughly by Tony to ensure all was ok- which it was.
