The delivery was quick and the company helped in some informations I might need concerning the product I ordered.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Chrissie today as I was having trouble trying to get a zipper foot for my rather old sewing machine.
I sent photos and serial number, she went off, had a look, found one and uploaded onto the website straight away. I dealt with a human, "NO Bots" involved, emails back & forth, order placed and purchase confirmation all within an hour. She has even printed of an explanation in how to attach with my order. Happy beyond belief is an understatement. They have gained a new customer today.

Quick efficient service and delivery of machine.

I’ve been going to the Gillingham shop for some time now and have always found them extremely helpful. I pop in a couple of times a week sometimes and they always have excellent customer service and can often help with any technical issues that I am facing with my machine. I have purchased all my sewing machines from this company for more years than I care to remember. My recent purchase a Bernina 570QE Quilters Special fits me and my needs perfectly. I am very experienced with sewing machines as I use to teach sewing classes but Tony still gave me a very detailed explanation on all the features and how to get the most out of the machine. The Bernina stitch regulator is superb and when doing free machine quilting it is an excellent accessory to have.

I remember Tony from when he was a young man and his father too it has always been an absolute pleasure doing business with this company. I was over the moon when they decided to move out of London and into Kent. It’s now easier for me to take my machines for a service as the new shop has plenty of parking. Tony of course will always carry the machine to and from my vehicle, and it is this level of service which keeps me returning after all these years.

This was my first visit to Sewing Machines UK as I needed a few of my machines serviced. The team are so friendly and knowledgeable. I took in 3 machines and an overlocker. One was a really old machine that was water damaged and they kindly took it in to be recycled. My overlocker was a very cheap model and I had broken it and so they talked me through replacing with a better machine , I purchased a Pfaff Admire 1000 as it is really easy to thread and is a solid machine as I do a lot of heavy fabric making. Part of the purchase was to receive a lesson at the centre and it was completely free and was an amazing session about my new overlocker and I have learnt so much I didn’t know before. I also got a demo of a Brother A65 and Janome HD9 machine whilst I was there as I do want to upgrade later on , so I will definitely be back to get a new machine and also book another lesson with them. The customer support has been outstanding and not something you see much these days , sadly. I would definitely recommend them for sewing machines servicing or buying a new machine. The bonus is there is a little habby section at the unit so I now know where to grab threads and new needles etc when I need them in a rush as most places seem to be closing 😢.

Whilst there were a few hiccups along the way in the end my new machine arrived and I'm very pleased with it.

Used this company for years & spent a lot if money with them without any problems at all however, I recently rang due to having a fault on the 2nd machine I’d purchased from them & could not believe how rude the girl was that spoke to me. I had told her I’d tried some of the tips that Tony the owner had given me to release things and she basically laughed at me telling me I obviously didn't have a clue what I was doing. The girl never paused for breath in her reprimanding. When I spoke to the owner a few days later he explained it was his daughter & therefore he stuck by what she told him & that he didnt care how I had been treated. I felt so upset by the owner telling me this that I had no choice but to end doing further business with them as clearly the customer will always be in the wrong.
There lies the problem of employing family I guess, their fabricated versions are more important than your customers you’ve had for years…good luck with that maybe that attitude is hereditary 🤷🏻‍♀️

Before you told me it was your daughter (which I now understand is the reason why she was so comfortable in her abuse) I told you all calls are recorded and offered to let you have a listen to gage this member of staffs behaviour…you refused to listen…I rest my case.
