Please save some money, do not buy this software!! Save hours of work. Full of bugs, I've lost hours of work.

I've been searching for a while now for a cloud-based image hosting service that is affordable and easy to use. There's quite a few on the market that include monthly subscription charges or expensive yearly renewals.

I recently discovered ShareMyImage.com and I think I may have just found the perfect solution for me!

The first thing that struck me was the price - it's affordable. I mean reaaally affordable... it really is incredible value for money and I was totally happy paying for something that actually works! Plus the upload limits are... unlimited.

Yup! You'll never run out of uploads...

It's fast too and very easy to use. All your images are securely stored on Amazon AWS, ensuring the highest level of reliability and data protection and managing your image library becomes a breeze!

You can create folders and subfolders, allowing you to organize your images in a structured manner. The flexibility to set folder privacy, whether it's public, private, or password-protected, ensures that you have complete control over who can access your visual assets.

What I really like is, once uploaded, you can get instant links to your images in various formats like direct links, HTML, thumbnail, markdown, or BB Code.

This is incredibly useful for me as I use note-taking App Obsidian which uses markdown for notes. If I need an image in my note, rather than physically embed it into the note itself, I can upload the image to ShareMyImage, get the markdown link and paste it directly into the note without even thinking! This is worth the price of admission alone if you use an App like Obsidian.

There’s even a feature they’re developing in their roadmap that integrates with ShareX (a screenshot tool) to save a screenshot directly to your account which will streamline the process even more! I cannot wait for this feature!

UPDATE: 04/07/2023 - The ShareX integration has just been released and having tested it, it works really, really well! Using the API you can connect ShareX with your ShareMyImage account and automatically upload screenshots to your account! Thank you for this feature - it's amazing!

I was also looking for a way to be able to share images for use in my business. This service works perfectly here too - what you've got is a simple way to share direct links to product photos pretty much anywhere you need to share them.

If you’re thinking ‘Oh, my Google Drive can store images. I can just use that for free’ then you must realise that you don’t get a direct link to the actual image itself which makes linking to it almost impossible. There’s always some sort of Google branding in there somewhere, as with pretty much ALL of the free cloud storage solutions.

ShareMyImage can link directly to the image and you can upload images up to 100MB in size in JPG, PNG, BMP GIF and even the ultra-optimised WEBP format. Video upload is ‘on the cards’ too!

I must also mention the excellent customer service here too - they have been superb with me and incredibly generous with their help. It seems to be getting rarer and rarer these days to have a customer service department that actually cares and I’ve found them to be incredibly fast in their replies and very helpful indeed!

Support from this company is appalingly bad. Afer waiting a year for them to finally implement an API the support staff have no idea how to support it. I requested a copy of any working code - they have none. They sent me a pdf (the badly written info from Chevereto - which is the software they are using) - which I had already included in my email to them. A second response amounted to saying that they had been told that it worked - clearly never actually tried it. Now they guy says it is beyond his scope. Absolutely disgusted with this.

Great platform and price with generous limits!

Uploading images is straightforward. And images load fast when viewed both on desktop and mobile.

Managing and organizing the images is also simple and easy.

The site has lots of features that make sharing and embedding easy.

You can save your posts as private or password-protected, as well.
