My wife and I were filing a claim for our pregnancy when we miscarried. I mentioned to our point of contact through the company how we no longer had to file a claim due to the loss of our baby and that night they sent us flowers to our home. It was a kind thing to do and the last thing I'd expect from our health sharing company.

Do not use

This has been a truly terrible experience. Multiple occasions have been very disjointed. The company they work with mighty well gave me very different information than what my insurance covered leaving me with $1750 bill to cover on my own that I was verbally told would be $200 by my mighty well agent that share well would not follow through on. I very clearly discussed this before I did treatment because I had an out-of-pocket option that was only $350 elsewhere. I would not have gotten the treatment.

The other instance was my daughter’s ER visit for a broken arm. No one explained to me that we had to ask for permission to get payment for this. I called a few days later to get providers for pediatric orthopedics for her cast. There was one given, and it was a retired doctor. Very out of date help, which was obviously not helpful. After I had to call back, they said they would cover out out of network, but everything was very poorly explained.

The next week I got the bill from the hospital for the ER visit without any compensation or coverage or help so I called to see if this had been properly submitted. They said I needed to request permission to have this ER visit looked at or taken care of. No one ever explained this to me. Through all my calls, many many calls with the other issues I’ve had. Even talking about the broken arm this was never brought up. We have canceled coverage as of the first of the month and today is the third of the month so now they say, since I did not do it during my active plan they will not cover anything done even during the time we had coverage.

I find this unethical and immoral. It was my husband‘s company that signed up so I never received any emails or information on how to do things otherwise. Just a phone number and ID and when I asked for more information, everyone was always confused and sent me off to the next person. It feels like a very dismissive company maybe they’re trying to not pay things or maybe they are just incompetent without the actual intent of harm but either way harm was done.

ShareWELL has been great to work with and assisted me during a time when I needed it most. They were very helpful in meeting my needs thoroughly and were always pleasant to work with. Jaclyn especially was very polite and patient with me.

Service team is top notch!

Such an innovative concept in lieu of a traditional insurance company. Fantastic experience with the customer service team navigating the member portal. You can tell they really want to help and they make it easy to use.
