Horribly rude representatives

Horribly rude representatives. I had to call back twice after the first one hung up on me when I asked about verification. This is after the phone number was given to me to call for verification. When I called back again to ask for clarification on the banks that they worked with I was told "Hundreds. There are too many to name. We have people waiting." And hung up.
I also feel that this may be some sort of fraudulent company.

I would give ZERO stars if it was…

I would give ZERO stars if it was possible. Blocked a charge and disabled my card that was in my hometown, tried to call to get it fixed and the rep was rude and told me to call my bank. Yeah, that wouldn’t be a problem if it WASN’T the weekend. Horrible, miserable company that randomly decides to flag transactions.

Their fraud alert flagged a transaction…

Their fraud alert flagged a transaction that I did authorize, and have authorized in the past. Called them and the agent could not explain why it was flagged (which does not help me avoid the flag in the future). Bank itself gave me different instructions and said I needed a new debit card, Shazam said I didn't, clearly communication between them is lacking. Will not be using this card unless I have to. In future, will not use a bank that uses Shazam as the processor for their debit cards.

Complete dog crap 💩!!

Complete dog crap 💩!!! They have no empathy when you cannot get your medication and you're going to end up in the hospital and their supervisor says, "i know it might be a little difficult to get ahold of deerwood bank on the weekend." I replied, "oh, you mean IMPOSSIBLE?" And I told her be accurate and truthful with your terminology. Her colleague prior to her continued to interrupt me about 4-5 times after I asked him not to and let me finish talking bc I allowed him to speak and he could say whatever he pleases after I say what I needed. He did it again and I said, "dude, just shut up." I know I should have said something else. And he ended up hanging up on me when I had no idea what was happening. When speaking to a supervisor, she then used one of those famous buzz words, "VERBAL ABUSE" and they are to hang up when verbally abused. Well, I wasn't verbally abusing him and tbh technically he was verbally abusing me first multiple times by not respecting my wishes and laughing at me for whatever reason... they don't know what real abuse is. They also called me a she when I have a MALE APPENDAGE. Apparently you are REQUIRED to speak to their employees like their toddlers or in kindergarten.... but their staff are allowed to disrespect you at all stops and we just are required to deal with it and accept it!!!

Well, I recorded both calls and they will be up on YOUTUBE very very soon!!!!! ACCOUNTABILITY IS A REAL B*TCH SOMETIMES....

Then it was like pulling teeth to have the supervisor call me back to follow up to find out what her findings were after she listened to the call and spoke to her colleague. Im sure they'll say theres no wrong doing of their staff and they did everything to the book. Well, good thing I recorded it!
I just believe in accountability and want to see what comes of it. The supervisor was worried that I wanted a response immediately and I don't care if it takes until next week. Just do it and follow through with it.

Respect is not given it is earned. I give the same amount of respect as others give to me...

I activated my card this morning

I activated my card this morning. Made 1 normal transaction and after that it went downhill fast....... Went to gas station card was declined in same state that I live in; so I used their ATM and it worked. So I went on my way thinking it was a glitch. Got to grocery store and then I was declined. Went to transfer funds to cashapp and declined. Went to ATM declined. Finally got a call about fraudulent charges even those these are normal every day charges and verified they were actual purchases. They said card is good to go. Go back to register and yet again DECLINED. All of this within 2 hours of activating my new card. Using my card with fingerprint protections too and its marked as fraud. Now they said my card that I just got Saturday that I had to pay to replace is no longer valid. It's null and voided because of THEIR SYSTEM!!!! How????? Now I'm out of money with no way to access my funds until I can get to my bank and I have to PAY to replace my card because of SHAZAM. My honest review is -8

Granted, this was in-part my fault, until it wasn't. I tried to use the Shazam debit card for a business transaction. The first attempt was declined. That was around 11:30am. Once the transaction was declined, I realized I had not yet activated the card. So I did that, activated at 11:33am with confirmation number and told it was available for immediate use. Still, I waited, had lunch, did some errands, and then around 1:00pm, I sat down to retry the transaction. It was declined again. Okay... So I called my financial institution at 1:08pm. While on the phone with their specialist, she informed me that Shazam blocked my card, because they stated they tried to verify the transaction with me by phone and text message. No. No, they did not. While I was looking to make sure I wasn't mistaken, I finally got a text message at 1:11pm, over an hour and half after the first declined transaction and over ten minutes after the second declined transaction. Now - according to what that specialist was being told by Shazam, supposedly, I made three transactions BEFORE the card was activated. (Wrong) They supposedly tried to contact me after each transaction. (Wrong) I went around and around with her. She insisted I was wrong, though I have the phone records showing the timestamps, and I can contact the business I was trying to pay and get their timestamps too. Ultimately, Shazam's time log is grossly incorrect, and that was all she had to go off of. She believed their erroneous log rather than me, the member. It cost me time, created a lot of frustration, and gives me no confidence in my ability to access my funds should I need them. Since that is who this financial institution uses for their cc's and dc's, I am going to pull my money and put it somewhere I know I will be in more control of my money, and I won't be gaslighted, because the information Shazam is sharing with their banks and credit unions is falsified. I will never use an institution that uses Shazam for their bank cards.
