Happy with the shed
The team was prompt, efficient, and highly professional, we would happily recommend them.
The only improvement we would suggest is offering a measuring service. As our shed was installed in a very tight space, we feel the fit could have been even more precise had the team taken the measurements themselves.

Regarding your suggestion about a measuring service, we completely understand how valuable that can be, especially for tighter spaces like yours. Unfortunately, due to the distance involved—over 206 miles and approximately 4 hours 30 minutes from our base—we’re unable to offer on-site measuring visits in your area, as the travel time and costs make this impractical.
This is why we communicate closely with our customers, request photos, and provide detailed order confirmations with as much information as possible. These steps are designed to ensure everything is as accurate as it can be before installation.

What a good experience. Perfect.
I had been looking for a bespoke 5mt sq Timber garage for a year or so while sorting out planning permission.
I needed it built with an aperture provided to take an existing 10ft electronic door which I was keeping.. and upgraded cladding / roof trusses etc.
I guess I'd spoken to a dozen companies but none gave me the confidence of building a properly strengthened opening... until I discussed with Kevin at Sheds Direct. Really got exactly what I was after. 10..!! As was Donna and the office team. And the guys who came and built the garage; Ross and Tyler were excellent. What a good experience. Perfect. And they were very good value, so they won on that score too.

Trade Shed 8x6 review
I spent quite some time reviewing potential shed providers.
I arrived at the conclusion that - not surprisingly - you get what you pay for.
I would have liked to have had 19mm thick boarding, but was reluctant to pay the price!
I felt that Sheds Direct seemed no-nonsence, and the conversation I had with their sales team steered me towards their "trade sheds" range.
I am happy with the structure, which seems sturdy and well-finished.
On the day of erection, the installation team and I disagreed over the suitability of my prepared base, and they insisted on using plastic levelling feet to ensure a good result. At no extra charge, I should add. This seemed to underscore their desire to ensure a good outcome, which is another positive.
So, all in all, a good experience.
I feel good value, and expect a long service from my new shed.

Fantastic from start to finish
Fantastic from start to finish. Superb quality shed.
They were happy to tweak dimensions to suit the space and very clear instructions for photos of the installation space.
Delivery was exactly when arranged and the two guys that installed it were efficient and polite.
Highly recommend.

Real people, who know their business
It is so great to be able to deal with real people, and to find a company who can build and install a shed in a small space. I got lots of useful information, to help me choose the right shed for me. Delivery and build is due in under two weeks’ time, but so far, my experience with sheds direct has been brilliant!

Excellent service from start to finish. From Kev ringing me on his day off to confirm the spec of the shed I wanted to Donna in the sales office keeping me updated with the progress of things and delivery date to Tyler and his opposite number who put my shed up. First class. Cannot praise them enough. My shed is absolutely fantastic and is just as I had designed it. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you want a shed these are the people. Simple as that.

The service from the first point of contact to the erection of the new shed was excellent. For example, a little while after I placed the order I changed my mind about the colour and it was altered without any problems. On the day it was due to be delivered (and erected) I was kept fully informed about when it would arrive, and the guys who built it for me were accommodating and it was up in no time. I have been more than happy with both the service and the shed itself.

Great shed, good quality, quick service
Ordered a shed based on the reviews and didn't disappoint. Used the online tool to make the shed in the evening, Kevin called me the following day to check what I'd selected. They were able to make it slightly bigger to a custom size, use stronger battens etc which was great. It's normally 5 week lead time but I got mine within a week! Donna in the office was brilliant and so were the two fitters Shaun and Ross. I would definitely recommend them.

Buyers beware, Roof leaking and Mould and Mildew, purchased and within a matter of weeks mould and mildew build up, a well as leaking ruining personal property. Not resolve offered

For clarity, the one simple step required to resolve this issue — painting the shed to make the timber weather resistant— has not yet been carried out, despite our guidance.
You ordered your shed on 29/12/25, undertaking to paint the shed yourself, and declined our optional pre-painting service. On 08/01/26 you asked which paint products we recommend; we provided this by email, making it clear the building must be painted to be weather resistant.
Your shed was delivered and erected on 21/01/26. On 02/03/26, approximately six weeks later, you reported damp inside the shed while confirming it had still not been painted.
Timber buildings are not weather resistant until treated with a suitable exterior paint or preservative. This requirement is standard and clearly stated in our terms and conditions. As with all timber buildings, ongoing weatherproofing through appropriate treatment is a normal customer maintenance requirement.
Despite the shed not being painted, we have spent considerable time assisting you: 32 emails and 4 phone calls with both our office manager and factory manager providing guidance. Once the building is properly painted, we will happily arrange a site visit if any issue remains.
At present, the one simple step required to make the building weather resistant has still not been carried out, despite our repeated guidance.
Given the above, suggestions that the matter has been ignored or assistance not provided are simply not accurate. We remain committed to the level of service reflected in our Trustpilot rating. Kind Regards Donna
