Shine Bathroom Avis 599

Last May I ordered 4 Shine Assistants and received them in October. One has never worked and another stopped working after about 3 months and will no longer even charge. The other 2 have been working fine, but 2 out of 4 is certainly not good. I have tried sending email and using the chat feature on their website and have gotten no response, and now their website does not even have a "contact us" link. They apparently have no intention of supporting their product. You should avoid them like the plague.

It took us a long time to get the 4 units we ordered. We thought we signed up for unlimited refills. We called and confirmed that we had unlimited refills and now it is saying we are not. We have no refills and have mold in the toilet. We also tried to buy the new attachment and they were out. NOT HAPPY!!

Been trying to order more pods and I have not gotten any in the 2 times I order.

Doesn't stick to back of toilet. Had the regular sprayer first and had some issues with it falling off toilet. Then I purchased the enhanced sprayer and the spray will not come out. Keep in mind I had 2 and they both worked the same. I am now back to original sprayer and have it taped with alien tape. The app is pretty close to worthless. Doesn't report water usage, flushes left or any other product capabilities. The one good thing is you can order more pods. When they say it cleans the entire toilet they are lying. Basically it sprays down, forward and side but only directly. Support for the product is basically worthless. They will call you back but usually hours later. Don't buy.

This product does not work, and I have tried to reach the company to return it, but they have made that impossible. I am now out $200 for something that does not work. Please, do not buy this product. Save yourself the trouble.

Shipping was incredibly late (4 months)
Product seems to be a money grab with the constant need to refill capsules + not automated (need to refill water manually - would have expected a connection to the water line).
Haven't seen the benefits of the product in terms of cleanliness, but that could be because our washrooms have always been clean.

Product idea was wonderful, execution was terrible. Shipping issues, subscription issues with cleaning pods, support availability was poor, then we are out of business. I purchased 3 devices and 1 kind of works. Once they shut down their servers, all devices will fail to work and will be paper weights

Scam site. Took my money and ran. Do not support

Been waiting for a refund for 2 months. Also I am owed pods and that is a month late.

Seriously, it’s been down for months

I have not received any refills for the pods and i have a membership. I get no reply from support.

At first, the bathroom "assistant" worked perfectly, and we were happy with it. However, after about six weeks, it quit working, would not charge, and would no longer connect to the app on our phone. Consulting the Corporate Shine Private Facebook group for customers, many others were experiencing the same issues. I'd also pre-paid for a two-year subscription for replacement pods. Soon thereafter, I learned that the company had filed for bankruptcy and was no longer reachable. We're left with an expensive non-functioning unit, unfulfilled subscriptions, and no communication from the company. It was extremely disappointing that this very promising product became a victim of its quick growth or lack of funding. I'm hopeful that another company with experience in key areas will buy the technology so that the Shine will again do its job.

My Devices drain too Fast
Can't reorder any "cleaning pods" because is the Company is MIA ... the app won't let me reorder any more, the chat support doesn't have anyone online ever, and the company website is down all the time

Company went out of business ~1 month after units shipped (after I threatened to cancel after a year of waiting). 2/4 spray heads have broken due to cheap plastic connector and no way to get replacements nor refill pods (despite annual subscription).

With the company going bankrupt, the previous 5 star for supplies and support drops to 3.

Shine Bathroom assistant is a wonderful product. However, one of the 2units purchased is not working anymore, and unable to contact support. When the unit is working my toilet is spotless! I hope they will continue supporting their website so my unit can function. I also hope that someone will continue to financially support this organization so the rest of the Shine community can have a spotless and clean toilet.

I bought 2 units. One was DOA. They sent me another. So far, so good. Then one only lasted 2 months before dying. The second would no longer connect to my phone, so there is no way to control it, or anything. I had unlimited refills, which go I acknowledged and unfilled. I think the company must be out of business, as they have gone unresponsive. Even when it was working, it did essentially nothing… I couldn’t tell the difference. Highly disappointed.

Just go out of business and leave your supporters hanging!

Totally Bad since they went bankrupt...their $30 tank hanger doesn't fit, no support as I had tried at least 5-6 times with no return calls...lots of moolah down the drain
