Poor Merchant Support
We chose ship24.com for IOSS. The IOSS registration link went to spam and then expired. Linda never responded to my 3 chasers after they said they would resolve this. We were charged 170 GBP to get started and have nothing to show for it. We're now using another service. If SHIP24 are this unprofessional for their other services I'd recommend keeping clear of this company if you're a merchant.
Ship 24 website works well for tracking
I am able to track my package very well on Ship24 Tracking website. What I do to understand the location is I choose translator on Google from Chinese or whatever the language is to English, etc and it is working fine on keeping track of the living room curtains I purchased through Amazon Smile. Thank seller I appreciate your work and may God bless you all.
Affordable IOSS Number and Responsive Customer Support
We are a small business that was looking to register for an IOSS number at an affordable cost. The registration was straightforward and affordable. We had no issues setting up our number and the team was responsive to all the VAT questions we had.
UTTER DISGRACE.

It's impossible to close your account
It's impossible to close your account. I tried using Ship24 for IOSS and was happy with the service at first, but I decided to stop shipping to the EU in May of this year. I started requesting that they close my account on May 23rd, after that month's VAT returns had been filed and I no longer needed their services. I've been messaging them several times per week since then (replying to their emails, using the contact form on their website, and using the live chat on their website). They don't respond to anything, and continue to bill me each month. When I log into my Ship24 account, it still shows both my VAT registration and Ship24 account are active.
Very poor prospective customer chat.
Very poor prospective customer chat.
This suggests the culture and resourcing levels are poor.
I will avoid using their service.

It's YODEL with a rebrand, and the WORST courier company in the UK!
Ship24 is the rebranding of the delivery business known as YODEL, and they admit it as much via their courier tracking page. Add "/couriers/yodel-tracking" to the end of their website's URL to find it, as direct links aren't allowed in reviews for some reason.
When I looked up Yodel here on Trustpilot, I found nine million websites formerly associated with Yodel that have since been shut down, each crammed with 1-2 star review blasting them for every delivery sin known to man. This also extends to dodgy practices with regards to complaints, such as endlessly changing websites and rebranding. So no surprises here!
In this biting cold winter of 2021, I ordered an electric heater via a company on eBay, little suspecting that they would use the worst company in the nation. I placed the order on Friday and was told the package would arrive on Tuesday. That Saturday, while preparing to go out, I checked my emails by chance and was told that my parcel was on its way, forcing me to cancel plans with friends. I sat around expecting a knock on the door, and then, again casually checking my email, saw a note saying that my package had "been delivered". What the fudge, I thought. No knock, no note through the door, nothing.
So I have a quick look around outside my property, no sign of anything, and I check with my neighbours and they haven't had owt dropped off. I go onto the tracking website and see that it has been reported as "delivered" at the local trading depot, a few towns away in a location I last visited years ago. At this point I expect foul play, so I get on to eBay and speak to them. The nice young lady who got back to my told me that Yodel have a reputation for this, and that they had also put the eBay seller's name down as the buyer, aka me, living at my address.
So a total cockup, I'm thinking. My package is probably sat at a depot, waiting for a couple of days before they drop it off on Tuesday as planned. Slim chance of more serious foulplay but eBay have begun taking action so that's good. I go on Yodel's website and leave them a message about the situation - that was a week ago now and they STILL haven't got back to me, so how's that for customer service?
Anyway, it's getting late and VERY cold, and I decide to finish a few domestic chores and wrap up warm for the night. I take a full bin bag out to the wheelie bins and lift up the lids, and THAT'S WHEN I SEE IT: the cardboard box contain my electrical heater, not so much behind the bins as tucked *perfectly* between them and the wall, almost meticulously into that mini little gap. It must have taken an effort to do that! I think the driver must've moved my bins to put it there, then moved the bins back, rather than knock! And there certainly was no note, through my door or via email, telling me that they had placed the item there, in frigid and damp northern english winter conditions. It was by pure chance that I took that rubbish bag out, because otherwise I would have left it there for maybe a day or longer till I inevitably noticed the item.
I rush the item inside, and lucky for me and them, it works, despite being left outside in the damp cold for hours. I get back in touch with the seller and eBay and clear everything up, but Yodel still haven't messaged back.
In a nutshell: no knock, item left in contrived invisible location with no notification whatsoever, and then a load of confusing baloney about it being delivered at the depot and with the seller's name in my place to create maximum time-wasting confusion. False prep messaging saying that it would arrive on Tuesday, then jerk-chain whiplash to the next day to totally disrupt my plans for no reason. And not one iota of an apology or acknowledgement.
I've encountered great courier services in the past, and I've encountered mediocre ones. This is the first I would describe as bloody awful. Give Yodel a miss! Never use them for delivering your items to others, and check with sellers if they use Yodel or any of its rebrands (such as Ship24!) prior to buying. You may have even worse luck than I!
Edit: As I'm sure you can read below, Ship24 have been pestering me for the last few weeks in a weak attempt to have my review removed. They've periodically updated their reply to finagle the wording in such a fashion as to ameliorate this - but I'm afraid no such luck.
The crux of the problem lies in Ship24's failure to do their one job and accurately track my parcel. As you can read above, they mislead me into thinking that it was being kept in a storage depot in a nearby town when it had in fact been "dropped off" (behind my bin with no knock on my door!), thus resulting in it sitting outside in wet wintery conditions for hours. The confusion over the dates was unhelpful too.
If Ship24 are "nOt AsSoCiAtEd WiTh YoDeL" at all, then why did they do business with them, and clearly a lot of it? 100% dodgy. Avoid!
