Same as everyone else. Took several months to receive my order. Charging 19.95/month to my credit card despite numerous attempts to call and email without response

Would give NO STARS if an option

Would give NO STARS if an option. Tried to buy shorts and never came, and they have been trying to charge card every month since for almost $20 each month.

Website shut down and now the number is connected to a purse selling site (same bad reviews) and for smokybombs.com now.

Like all the other 1 star, I’m sure this “company” is a scam. Ordered 2 shirts for my son and they came MONTHS later. Customer service is terrible and now I have a recurring charge almost a year later. I disputed it with my bank since I know they are scammers.

Beware!

Besides taking months to deliver with multiple automatic generated replies regarding the where abouts of my package, I just discovered they are charging my card monthly for God knows what. Do not do business with this company.

This company is a scam

This company is a joke. Order my stuff back in April it is now the end of July still haven't received my order. Nothing but fake tracking and excuses of lost in transit and that they make their stuff special order from where the hell they make it and they don't even know where they make their stuff. Been asking for a refund and they won't refund due to shipping issues. Save your time and don't lose your money shop else where.

Scam retailer

Under no circumstances should you ever buy anything from this store. Any 5-star reviews are written and/or paid for by the company. The clothing is very poor quality – low-grade material, poor stitching, poor fit. The company took forever to ship the items and forgot entirely to send some of the items. Once they arrived I knew immediately I would never wear any of it and donated it all to Goodwill. It's that bad.

The worst part, however, is that they have a scam called "Apex Rise Collective" that is automatically added to your cart when you attempt to buy anything. That item is labeled as "free." There is no information on the cart page about it costing anything. However, if you don't remove that item from your cart, they will start charging you $19.56 per month to be part of their "exclusive club" that gives you access to things that are completely worthless and useless. It is 100% a scam that is designed to fool customers that aren't paying attention into signing on for a monthly fee. I didn't notice it until I was reviewing recent credit charges and was puzzled by this random fee I'd been charged the last two months.

Oh, and the "store going out of business" claim on their website is also fake and just there to create the illusion that you're getting a deal.

So, just to review, if you order from this store:
1. They will likely take a very long time to ship your order, if they ever do ship it, and there are decent odds that they'll "forget" to include your entire order.
2. The gear is low-quality and not worth the price.
3. They will attempt to sneak a monthly fee for a worthless service.

I like to pride myself that I'm usually pretty good at spotting scams, but I'll give this to them, they got me.

Worst purchasing experience

This was easily one of the worst purchases of my life. The shorts are fine, but dealing with this company has been a nightmare. I ordered 4 pairs of shorts in March. By April, only 2 pairs had arrived. After several emails to the company, they finally sent me the two remaining shorts in the incorrect size. After another month or so of arguing with them, they admitted they made a mistake and told me they would resend me the two shorts I was owed. It is now the middle of July and I still have not received the 2 remaining pairs of shorts. Now, finally, they send me a vague tracking link indicating the order has arrived but the tracking doesn't show an actual address just the town and my order never arrived. I've accepted that I got ripped off, but save your money and avoid this company.

Terrible

Terrible, ordered in March, then they said they would fufil again as it never shipped, then promised a refund, been waiting a month on a refund, the email doesn't go to anyone, the phone number is always a voicemail. A pure scam!

Ordered the shorts in February 2024 as…

Ordered the shorts in February 2024 as of June 25 I still have not received them. And my credit card started receiving a monthly recurring charge for future orders with them. Some type of automatic shipping charge?? Yet I haven’t received the first order. I do not think the company is legitimate. Requested refund they said they would do it. I am waiting for it to show up on card.

Buy your gear from literally anyone else

For the love of God, listen to this and the other reviews and spend your money with any other company that makes gym apparel. I'd give this brand zero stars if it were possible on this platform. My experience has been consistent with all of the other negative reviews on here.

I placed my order with Apex on 03/17/24 for four pairs of their Apex Lite 3.0 training shorts, being a fan of the design of the shorts and the price point, not knowing about the negative experiences everyone has been having. One week later on 03/24/24, I received an email stating that my order had been shipped. However when I would open up the shipping link to USPS, it would state that the package hadn't been received by USPS. I thought this was strange, but left it alone thinking that this may have been a delay in shipment processing. However, after a month (04/24/2024) and still no package and no updates, I emailed their customer service inquiring about the status of my order and received the following response:

"Hi Michael,

Good to hear from you. We apologize if you haven't received the product you ordered with us yet.

Please know that we have already processed your order.

Here is your tracking number: *REDACTED BY ME*

I know that the updates with the tracking number might be worrisome but I assure you that your package is not lost and it is on its way to you.

Tracking information will update once it has reached the next sequential checkpoint. Once USPS receives and scans the package, we will be able to see better updates with the shipment then know the estimated arrival date.

Thank you for your patience in this matter."

So if I'm understanding this correctly, I'm to trust a company that, at the time of ordering, falsely advertised 5-7 day shipping on their website, that my package has been shipped and has taken two months in transit, has yet to be received by USPS, and that Apex doesn't know where my order is, just that it's shipped. And because it's already shipped, they also can't issue me a refund because those items are indeed already shipped? Essentially, my order may get here or it may not, but I've been out the money that I spent with Apex and not received anything in return except nonsensical answers and typical customer service BS.

I could have spent the same amount of money with any of Apex's competitors and received my order 10 times over in the time it's taken me to get around to writing this review. This is by far the worst experience that I've ever had with any company that I've ever bought from and cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.

Spend your money with any of Apex's competition. It baffles me that this company is still in business with the apparent track record of letting their customers down.

I ordered 4 pairs of 3.0 training…

I ordered 4 pairs of 3.0 training shorts. It has been 3 months and have the same complaints as many on here. Just a standard email back that they will be on the way and the shipping number they give is just a generated number that will never have a date on it. order #34148 if someone would like to give me what I order that was over 100 dollars worth of an order.

Terrible company terrible customer…

Terrible company terrible customer service. Placed order 3 months ago and still no product. Just like all the other reviews, they keep sending the same messages over and over that my order is in transit, but I received a tracking number over two months ago and it’s still not here. Clearly something is wrong. I reached out to them multiple times and they still send these messages that say rest assured your order will arrive, I’ve asked for a refund multiple times and they say we can’t do that because your order is in transit. This is ridiculous.

Two months and still no item

Two months and still no item. Finally received a tracking number but the overseas carrier company didn't have package. Many many emails to the company with the same response of the item was too popular and they are trying to fulfill the order. Two months.... Scam company drop shipping from Asia! Do not buy from them!

Scam stay away!!

This place is a straight up scam. First, they wouldn’t take a refund on these garbage shirts that didn’t fit me (tried them on once…never washed, tags still on etc), then they charged us for a monthly subscription fee that we DID NOT sign up for. When I emailed them about it, they REFUSED to refund us!! This place is a STRAIGHT UP SCAM

I’ve been waiting 2 months for my…

I’ve been waiting 2 months for my order. I’ve emailed them multiple times with the same “your order will be to you soon we promise.”

I requested a cancellation & then was charged $20 a few days later, which I disputed with my credit card company.

No response from my cancellation email & advising they “just so happened” to charge $20 after I sent the email.

Would not recommend.

I have ordered more than 3 month ago and i still haven't received it yet . The carrier has wrote that the sippement as expired. Worst customer service , don't order from them.
