Serious Complaint Regarding Overpricing, Delayed Deliveries & Poor Customer Support on Shopon.pk

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my experience with Shopon.pk. There are three major concerns that I would like to highlight:

1. Unreasonable Pricing

A 1L chilled Coca-Cola (original brand) is available in physical stores for Rs. 160.

A 1L chilled NEXT Cola (local brand) is available for around Rs. 130, and unchilled for Rs. 100.

However, Shopon.pk is charging Rs. 199 for unchilled NEXT Cola (1L).

Additionally, Rs. 290 delivery charges are applied, meaning the customer pays nearly Rs. 490 for a single bottle, which is more than 3x the local market price—and still unchilled.

This is clear exploitation of customers.

2. Delayed Delivery

Shopon.pk states that orders are delivered within 3 to 5 days.

I placed an order on 21st August 2025.

Today is 1st September 2025, and I have still not received my order.

No proper updates, no calls from the delivery team, and no resolution from customer support.

This is unacceptable.

3. General Overpricing of Products

Your grocery items are unreasonably expensive compared to local stores:

Tibet Soap costs Rs. 99 locally, but Shopon.pk lists it for Rs. 189.

Blue Band Margarine 90gm is Rs. 349, while locally it is far cheaper.

Almonds, olives, margarine, toothpaste, and daily use items are almost double or triple the market price.

This shows a systematic overpricing strategy targeting unaware customers.

4. Poor Customer Service

Despite multiple emails, I have not received a timely or satisfactory response. Customers deserve proper support when their money and trust are involved.

📢 My Request:

Kindly explain why Shopon.pk is overcharging customers 2–3x more than local market rates.

Provide a resolution for my pending order (Order Date: 21st August 2025).

Adjust your pricing policies to reflect fair market value.

Ensure timely delivery and proper communication in the future.

If this complaint is ignored, I will have no choice but to:

Report this to Consumer Protection Authorities in Pakistan.

I ordered a doormat from shopon.pk and…

I ordered a doormat from shopon.pk and received it after a whole month and still the color was different. They are frauds indeed. Their prices are way too high than other stores. I would never shop from this site ever. I only shopped because I redeemed gift cards from bing, sadly didnt have any other option, next time i am just gona give my points to charity.

Scammers

Scammers, they sell gift cards and they are partners with bing AI generator too. I faced a bad experience with their service. Do not trust them, the admin of this website is not active and they will not see your cart what you ordered for years.

Terrible Experience with Shopon.pk

I received some gift vouchers and placed an order on Shopon.pk. No one contacted me regarding the order. After waiting for two weeks, I had to reach out to their support, only to be told that the vendor said the product was out of stock. I asked them to reverse the vouchers, which took another 5 days.

Then I placed a new order and followed up with their support 3–5 times, but I still haven't received anything.

Absolutely pathetic service — worst eCommerce experience I’ve ever had. Poor communication, slow responses, and zero customer care. Would not recommend Shopon.pk to anyone.

i bought vouchers worth 800 Rs to buy…

i bought vouchers worth 800 Rs to buy pubg mobile us but when i apply on it. they declined it says that you dont have money i also check these vouchers before applying them. but when i apply my amount get cut and they proceed my order and said you dont have money. i need urgent uc for pubg mobile but now i cannot do anything. when i contact with customer service they said please contact us tommorow 10:00 am.

⭐ Frustrating Experience – Lost My Balance Without an Order! ⭐

I recently tried to order the Pack of 2: Nova Hair Dryer + Nova Hair Straightener & Curler for 1801 PKR. I had 1800 PKR in my gift card balance, so I only needed to pay 1 PKR extra. However, since I didn’t have enough balance in my JazzCash account, I went back to cancel the payment.

🚨 The issue? Instead of just canceling the transaction, the system deducted my full 1800 PKR, and my order was never placed! 😡

This was really disappointing because I lost my balance without receiving my order. 💸 I kindly request the platform to resolve this issue and process my refund. Such technical glitches should be fixed to provide a better user experience for everyone! ✅

Spam website

I have had a worst experience with shopping with Shopon.pk using the Gift cards.
This portal (Shopon.pk) consumes your gift cards amount while the check-out and never ship the purchased products.
They are fraudaut and cyber criminals in this industry.
