Brilliant house for a hen do, everything was perfect and we had a great stay. Will definitely return!

The most wonderful stay for my 70th birthday last weekend. My girls and I needed a calm, relaxing retreat - and this beautiful lodge was all of these things. All communication leading up to the stay was superb. The welcome pack was thoughtful - and there is everything inside the lodge that you could ever think of needing. Exceptionally clean, too. I can’t recommend either the accommodation - or the communication highly enough. Wish we were there now. Then you so much.

This is an excellent and luxurious place to stay.
We were there for a week in glorious hot weather and enjoyed walks in the woods and sitting by the river with a G&T in the evenings.
We are not fishermen but loved the bird song, nightingales, warblers, and many others.
The view out across the water meadows is magical when the mist cloaks them, cattle and sheep grazing, swans and coots swimming.
Much recommended.

Lovely house this was our 5th year of visiting and we have already booked for next year.

We booked the property for 3 friends all of whom were brining our horse away for the weekend to ride in the New Forest.

The property was beyond our expectations, it was very comfortable and was well suited to tree friends due to the bedroom set up and two bathroom facilities.

It was fabulous being able to look out of the window and see our horses grazing happily after a full days hacking across the open forest.

The company were brilliant to deal with and even met me on site the week before we took the horse with us to make sure everything was suitable for us.

A fisherman's dream location. Fabulous accomodation, well maintained. Ideal location for visiting the south coast. Also a non-fishermans dream location. Its like you are isolated in your own little piece of paradise... perfect. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, the house is amazing. The facilities are amazing. The view from the decking is amazing. The hot tub is amazing.

I took a group of friends over the bank holiday weekend and the accommodation was one of the outstanding highlights of the whole trip.

The roads into the site weren't always the easiest - especially if you're not familiar with Devon roads, but they take nothing away from just how special Blackdown Views is. I couldn't recommend it more for groups.

The houses were in a perfect position and spacious enough to accommodate us all in mostly single occupancy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed. Everything was well explained in the pre holiday information. It was quiet, restful and homely. I would thoroughly recommend the place to anyone needing space for many people.

The house was in an excellent location, close to the shops, buildings of historic interest plus the local museum and the river with its green open space.
Being a dog owner the garden was secure and there were open spaces locally where we could walk her and let her off the lead.
There were also so many interesting places nearby to explore.

We stayed here for a weekend birthday trip and enjoyed every moment! The house was gorgeous, spotless and views insane!

Superb is the only word to describe the accomodation,location and facilities.
Ideally suited for family gatherings or .as in my case,golfing tours.

Mews Hill Cottage in Fordingbridge offers luxurious accommodation, ideal for families or small groups on golf or fishing tours. It has all the amenties you could need and is ideally situated within the New Forest National Park with the convenience of shops and excellent restaurants close by. This was my third visit and I hope to be back.

Great stay at this lovely property in an excellent location

As a group of golfing buddies, we have just had a super 4 day stay in Mews Cottage. The accommodation is first class, with plenty of parking available. There are a number of superb pubs and restaurants near by with food to suit all tastes and budgets. If you are into golf there are a huge range of courses within about 30 minutes drive. I have also stayed in this property previously as a family group and there are lots of beautiful walks in the New Forest starting right outside your door

Clean tidy and well equipped

Great venue, beautiful surroundings, clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and well kept.

Accommodation was clean large and well stocked . The extra treat of a basket of local foodstuff and plenty of suggestions as to where to eat was perfect .

First time for me and family every thing was perfect will book next year as well 😁🙏

Property accurately described and all arrangements very clear : both before arrival and in the property itself.
Excellent quality furniture and fittings in a warm, comfortable house in a great location.

Extremely a great company, very helpful from start to finish, especially when I left some medication at the property, they very kindly picked it up from the property, so I was able to pick them up from their local office.
Would highly recommend them if you are looking for a large cottage for a lot of people.
