Écrit par l'entreprise

Shuffle is an online editor for busy developers. We help you build professional, responsive pages faster. In simple words, the Shuffle editor's job is to eliminate repeatable steps in making layouts and give you more time for styling, adding back-end, or new features! We prepared ready-to-use UI components looking perfect on different devices, and we grouped them into several categories (headers, navigations, sign in, etc.). Use them with the drag & drop editor to create templates in seconds!

Not Ready for Real Use – Misleading Claims and No Support

I signed up for shuffle.dev based on its appealing promises: AI-assisted design, thousands of components, and a fast, streamlined UI-building experience. Unfortunately, almost none of this holds true, and the service feels more like a polished sales pitch than a functioning product.

The AI functionality is extremely limited and unreliable. Instead of intelligent, context-aware design help, the output feels random, clunky, and often useless for actual development work. This is not what the marketing suggests.

The claim of "thousands of components" is also highly misleading. The majority of the components are just repeated versions of the same elements with minor variations. It feels like the component count is artificially inflated to appear more impressive than it really is.

Another red flag is the free trial, which is so restricted that it’s hard to get any meaningful sense of the platform’s capabilities. Key features are locked, generation limits are hit almost immediately, and you’re left with almost no option but to upgrade. It feels like this limitation is intentional – designed to push users toward a paid plan without giving them a real chance to evaluate the product. That’s not best practice, and it's certainly not user-friendly.

On top of all this, the support is non-existent. I contacted them several times and never received a single reply. For a paid product, especially one targeting developers and professionals, that’s simply unacceptable.

In its current state, shuffle.dev is not a usable or trustworthy tool. It overpromises, underdelivers at the current state it is a product that isn't ready for production use. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution – or better yet, look elsewhere.

My experience with Shuffle.dev was disappointing...

My experience with Shuffle.dev was extremely disappointing. The interface is difficult to use and overly complicated, making manual coding a better and more efficient option. Additionally, customer support is completely absent. I reached out multiple times to request a refund, but received no response.

The so-called AI support is very primitive, unable to understand questions properly, and offers no real help regarding the available templates.

Clearly, I do not recommend this platform at all.

This is an easy 5 stars - excellent application to speed up design

This is an easy 5 stars to give, as this product meets or exceeds my (high) expectations. Shuffle is a fantastically good tool for selecting and modifying responsive templates for web applications or sites. It caters for multiple frameworks; Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, Material UI and soon shadcn/ui. You can save your own templates or add additional libraries (such as Tailwind UI) to extend the selection. That would make the choice for use in Shuffle technically limitless.

I purchased their $249 lifetime offer after testing it through their online demo. The demo has sufficient features enabled to know what you are getting. At the same time, I tried out a few online alternatives and found those to be more limited, less stable or less intuitive than Shuffle. Desktop products such as Bootstrap Studio or Blocs are great if working with Bootstrap only, but I prefer the multi-library template-first approach of Shuffle for rapid design and export of clean and usable code.

It is easy to mix and match template components and make modifications. Everything from text to images or logos are easy to change, as Shuffle gives you access to the html markup in their editor. Basic front-end development skills (HTML/CSS) will help you make the most of the tool. Even then, custom CSS classes are made by simply selecting properties from a property pane.

I am very pleased with the range of template designs available. It is always a good idea to change out-of-the-box templates to make them unique for your needs anyway. The provided components are a great starting point. Obviously, you cannot change the properties of a Tailwind CSS utility class, as that defeats the purpose of using the framework, but you can add your own custom classes to elements easily.

I'm very impressed with the AI features. The AI assistant allows you to prompt to create a specific component. And it works wonderfully in my tests. You can also upload a layout to Shuffle to have it produce a component that matches.

A tip for using or testing any of these applications is to turn off any blocking or custom plugins in your browser that may interfere with application functionality. Shuffle has been rock solid reliable for me on each occasion I have used it.

One suggestion I would have for the Shuffle team is to label the outline bar at the bottom of the screen as "Outline" and add a button there to trigger the html editor, as this outliner might be seen by some as an editor that that doesn't allow edits. Also, they might consider changing their marketing claims of having 12,400+ components to explain that those include shared designs across libraries, as people can be confused by ambiguity. Most, but not all people, will understand that you are not getting 12,400 unique page options. Perhaps the custom CSS classes you make should also be editable using a little editor, rather than changing properties only from the property pane.

Overall, this is an excellent and well designed application that is well worth the money if you create sites or web applications. It is an obvious choice if you create sites for others, as the range of frameworks gives options that single framework solutions do not. The AI features and the ability to extend the libraries by uploading your own makes this very versatile. I highly recommend Shuffle.

Don't buy this!!!

I purchased a $249 subscription, expecting sufficient value for the price. The demo version is extremely limited, making it hard to assess the application's true value—hence my decision to buy it. However, after purchasing and exploring the tool, I found it to be incredibly limited for the price.

For example, when using a template, you often cannot change the logo image. Adding custom CSS is overly complex and unintuitive. Editing frequently fails to work, and the tool crashes regularly, requiring restarts—this happens in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

While the app does have a relatively nice interface, I cannot recommend spending $249 USD on it. They market it as offering "12,400+ responsive UI components," but fail to mention that these components are limited, highly repetitive, and lack real value. If I couldn't give a star, I would have done this!

As a UX/UI designer and web developer, I expected "12,400+ responsive UI components" to mean a comprehensive library, not a diluted collection of repetitive designs. I emailed the company requesting a refund, but they haven’t responded. Furthermore, their website lacks a clear refund policy, making the process frustrating and opaque.

Be cautious about what is advertised on their website. It creates false expectations, and once you’ve paid and explored the tool, it feels like a waste of money. I plan to take further action because their promises are unclear, and the product does not deliver as advertised.

There are better alternatives. For instance, Bootstrap Studio offers a permanent license for just $49, and Pinegrow is another affordable option. If you’re considering purchasing Shuffle, think carefully—it seems they’re quick to take your money but unwilling to respond to customer concerns after payment.
