I actually give Signature Gifts 0 stars. If only I had read the reviews before purchasing. My complaint is a mixture of all the others, bad quality and late delivery past Christmas. Although I ordered the personalised nursery rhyme book on 7 December 2022 I actually received it on 5 January 2023 and only after I contacted signature gifts to inform them of the non delivery. `They had not even processed it, no compensation or remorse offered, they would just put it in post. `i eventually received it on 5 Jan and was devastated at the substandard quality, a very thin book, not special at all. The book consists of '24 page count' ie 12 pages, with 1 dedicated to the origins of rhymes and a page advertisement for their company, completely irrelevant for a young child, equating to 10 pages of rhymes. This is definitely not a special book for display on a book shelf and after paying £32.99 inc delivery, I expected better. When I complained, i was offered the delivery cost back due to the delivery error £5.00, but they said that it was down to personal preference that I didn't like the book and that I had access to a flip through of the book. This did not show the page with the advertisement or the thinness of the the book. I was offered 50% off as a refund (I did not accept as I did not want to give book to my Granddaughter) or if I want a complete refund I have to send book back at my own expense. Absolutely no customer service. They would not budge on this as they obviously did not care that I was so unhappy with the product. I am now forced to send the book back by registered post (it is of no use to them so a complete waste of time and money) at my expense which I am very unhappy with, to get a refund. All I wanted was my Granddaughter to have the same quality of Nursery Rhyme book that my own children had and still cherish not this cheap imitation. This company has no pride in its products or service. Avoid!
Ordered a Christmas personalised book for my grandaughter which I ordered on my phone.
When it came I absolutely would never ever dream of giving it as a gift. Its terrible quality...the photos look like a 3yr have prepared them. You apparently can review online which I didn't see. ...so no refunds. Would never ever use again
I would give a 0 star if possible. I ordered a birthday book - which supposedly should have arrived in time for a big birthday. It didn't. I received no info until I contacted the company that it was "lost" and there was no tracking info. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!
Purchased a personalised ‘Balmoral’ mug- the picture printed is far too small and it’s not printed straight, it’s wonky!
Ordered 1st Jan and was told to wait until Jan 20th for delivery. Rang on Jan 20th as no update and dads birthday was on 24th. I was told it would be delivered within 48 hours. Yodel updated account to say ‘item cannot be delivered’. Offices closed all weekend so I called back when they opened today (my dads birthday) and was told ....
‘Sorry, it was lost in transit and yodel never actually received the item from Signature gifts’.
This company is a scam. They do not send the items you order out.
If I could give a zero rating I would. Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had.
After submitting my order I received no communication from the company (not even a confirmation of receipt). I waited over 2 weeks to receive my item only to find that the order was incorrect and I'd been sent the wrong item. When I called customer services they admitted they'd made a mistake but said there was "nothing they could do about it."
This item was a gift for Christmas. Long story short, the recipient ended up having nothing Christmas Day because the company did nothing to compensate their mistake or rush through the correct order. The correct item was finally received on 6th January; 12 days after Christmas, 16 days since the incorrect album was received and 31 days since the order was originally made. Absolutely appalling.
Book was ordered for us as a gift, nice idea, delivery very quick. The product looked acceptable, until you notice on the front cover the wrong names and date. Didn't go on through the pages as intended returning to company so they could send to correct customer. However,, after spending a silly amount of time on phone supposedly in a queue I opened the book, inside were correct names (ours) but wrong date, so a complete hash. Have left my number for customer services manager to ring me. Watch this space.
I ordered two personalised Disney books for my niece. They arrived promptly, packed well and the printing of the personalisation (name and photo) was perfect!
It made a wonderful gift! I would highly recommend this company. Great service and good products.
