The curler was ok at first and worked fine but now when I charge the curler it doesn’t stay on and turns off straight away and I don’t know why but I should of stuck to straightening my hair with rath... Voir plus

Well what can I say disappointed is not the word and I wish I'd read the reviews BEFORE I wasted my money. Ordered item 6 weeks ago and to date nothing received. However I have been inundated with emails about how fantastic the Silkwave curler is and tutorials for which having the curler would actually help. I've sent emails to customer services and at the moment it's radio silence.

I am fuming because I haven’t received mine and the only way you can contact is via email and I’m not getting a response. It’s been 2 months. I just want my money back, but I do t think it’s going to happen. They should not be allowed to trade.

***EDIT I contacted Klarna, whom I paid through, to inform them that this company was not fulfilling orders, and have since been refunded my money, this is maybe worth a try for any one else affected.
I am another customer whose order has not arrived. Emailed a few times and was asked to be patient, now they are just ignoring my emails. Do not buy from this company. 5 weeks from order date, no working tracking number, no order, no reply.

I ordered Silkwave curler on 23rd Jan this year , it hasn’t arrived . I contacted customer service on their website who replied I had cancelled this item and they had refunded. I did not cancel the the order and my refund of £42.98 is still not showing in my bank account and getting no replies to my complaints of this from Silkwave customer service and tel no is not recognised? Any advise welcome Mrs Griffin
absolute trash
this product is not fit for purpose and is absolute trash. Do silk wave realise they are selling products which do not keep the charge, and this was a present for my daughter's birthday which she cannot use now. Offered a replacement which was cancelled saying they're sold out absolutely appalling. I am going to claim back through chargeback via my bank.

Would give it 0! My daughter ordered one for Christmas but I looked through the reviews and suggested she cancel it within ten minutes of ordering. They said it was too late to cancel the order on 12th December although it wasn’t dispatched until 15th. No sign of the thing! Tracking is fake and not coming up under any courier or on their Ali express courier… all a load of nonsense! Not worth the grief! Strongly suggest you don’t use them at all.

Complete waste of time and money
Poor quality and bad customer service.
I’ve had my device for 6 months, however only used it less than 10 times as I don’t curl my hair often. Battery life was really bad from the beginning but after roughly 10 uses it would only last enough to make one curl before dying despite being properly charged. After some back and forth with their customer advisors, them saying they can’t do anything as I’ve had it for too long, they finally agreed to issue a replacement. That was over two weeks ago and I only just realised the replacement is coming straight from China instead from the UK, and it’s not even here yet. If I wanted to order it on AliExpress I would have done that at a fraction of the price. I have now emailed asking for a refund as I believe I was missold a product believing it will be a better quality than the ones available on eBay and AliExpress due to their fancy logo and a higher price, however it’s clearly a scam.

To be honest if I could have I would give 0 stars!!! This machine is dangerous and rubbish it caught my hair in the machine I had to cut it to get it out !!! They customer service I quote “”” said am so sorry to hear about the issue you have with your Silkwave Hair Curler. This is definitely not the kind of experience we want you to have with our product and I'm more than happy to resolve this with you.
If you haven't done the following steps below, may I please request that you try these and let us know if this helps fix the issue:
1. Initial charging of the hair curler is at least 6 hours.
2. Make sure the charging cable is connected to its correct port (smallest port).
3. Make sure you don’t put too much hair into the barrel at a time.
Please also check Manual attached.
If after doing these the unit is still not functioning properly, please send us a quick video (<20 MB) showing the issue.

The product does not hold its charge and therefore not usable
I was bought this product just under a year ago as a gift. I have literally used it four times and it will not hold a charge even though I have charged it for 6 hours. I have contacted them directly and as the product is now a year old they aren't interested. Basically they are stating not to expect a yer out of this product. Shocking customer service and I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Stopped working
Stopped working after 7 months. Only use it 3 times a week. Contacted customer service and they said nothing can be done as I've had it too long. Rubbish. Hardly been used really.
Good at first…doesn’t last long
Purchased in March 2022, really pleased with it at first. Now it won’t hold charge. Disappointed as expected it to last longer than 8 months. Won’t re-purchase.

My silkwave does not hold charge. Literally 10 mins and it went to 2 bars, yet it was fully charged. It was not in the maximum heat setting.
I have emailed customer services twice and not heard back from them. Very disappointing as not cheap to buy, please advise me??
