Having used a silke hair wrap for a long time, this pillow case was a great alternative and also benefited my skin. It doesn't control the temperature of your head the same way a silke hair wrap does,... Voir plus

Beautiful quality products in chic…
Beautiful quality products in chic packaging. I was already a huge fan of the scrunchies and hair ties which I've used for years. I had never used a silk pillowcase before and was initially apprehensive but omg it more than delivers. My naturally thick and frizzy, very high maintenance hair, has remained near knot-free since using the case and the frizz is minimal. I'm so impressed and have slept soundly on this luxurious pillowcase. I'll definitely be keeping it as part of my nightly routine alongside the stylish hair accessories.

Not impressed. I was expecting better quality of the bonnet for what I paid. The inside that actually touches the hair is rough to the touch and i dont see that it helps to reduce fizz.
The elastic is already loose after a short period and slips off without being clipped to the hair which then causes damage.
Also very annoying that just after i purchased a bonent they bring out a new upgraded version thats double lined and is adjustable! Now im stick with the old one with all its issues and reluctant to spend again for fear the quality wont be there.
I have instead been researching small businesses to purchase from.

Silk bonnet, ties and pillow case
The silk bonnet and silk ties have made such improvements to my hair, especially following chemotherapy. The silk pillow case is wonderful and I can honestly say I have noticed an improvement in my skin. Less blemishes. I feel more rested when I wake up. All are a bit of luxury which make a real difference.

Big fan of all SILKE products!
I have tried silk pillowcases from other brands in the past and did not experience any positive change after use. However, the SILKE Pillowcase has been a game changer for me. It is definitely higher quality than the ones I've tried and I actually saw positive differences in my hair. I typically put my hair in a SIlKE hair wrap overnight and sometimes I have to touch up my blowout in the mornings (I have curly hair I typically blow dry straight). When using the SILKE pillowcase, I did not have to touch up my hair in the morning! My frizz was minimized, and my hair stayed styled perfectly. This reduced my morning hair routine significantly. Something I wasn't expecting was that my skin improve while using the pillowcase. I had an active breakout that reduced significantly after 7 days of use. I have already been a loyal user of the SILKE hair wrap and hair ties before the pillowcase was released and now I am a loyal user of the SILKE pillowcase!

A true game changer for my thinning, post-chemo hair!
After experiencing menopausal and post-chemo hair thinning, my fine hair was in a terrible state very brittle and messy. The transformation since using the SILKE London Dream Set has been remarkable.
I've tried other silk pillowcases, but SILKE London is in a league of its own. The quality is immediately noticeable: it's significantly thicker and feels more luxurious, which I believe provides better protection.
But the real star is the hair wrap. I wake up to smooth, sleek hair that actually has body. The tangles and frizz are gone. In fact, a friend recently saw me and asked if I'd just been to the hairdresser! For someone who has struggled with their hair for so long, that comment meant the world!

Silke pillow case
Having used a silke hair wrap for a long time, this pillow case was a great alternative and also benefited my skin. It doesn't control the temperature of your head the same way a silke hair wrap does, but it still reduces the frizz and breakage well. My skin feels smoother and less oily after sleeping on this pillow also which is a great bonus.

Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. I found my “bonnet” crumpled and unwearable so I requested a refund. I was told that as I had unpacked it ( it came in a box) I was not entitled to a refund. How could I examine it without opening the box? This is a very poor company. Avoid. Edit: After posting this honest review, the company granted me a refund for “exceptional”reasons and requested that I considered editing my review. Make of that what you will.

Great whilst they last, quality over time not great for the price
I’ve bought two SILKE hair wraps. I love how they make my hair look in the morning, but unfortunately the elastic has gone slack in both. The first one lasted about 2 and a half years so I could sort of accept that. However, I’ve only been using the second one for a year and it’s already happened again. I know the elastic won’t last forever but I’d expect better quality for a hair wrap that costs £50+. Unfortunately I won’t be purchasing again because as much as I like the hair wraps, I can’t justify the cost when the quality of the elastic is so poor.

For customers from the EU not recommended due to high customs fees that have to be paid on top of the high prices of the products. I had to pay nearly 17 Euros extra. Return from the EU have an additional 10 £ fee by Silke.
Many other UK online stores manage this without these inconveniences for non UK customers. Will not order from them again.

All EU orders are currently shipped from the UK, and as outlined at checkout and across our Shipping & Returns pages, import duties and taxes may be applied by local customs authorities. These charges are set by the destination country and, unfortunately, are outside of our control - which is why we try to be as clear as possible across the site.
That said, we appreciate your feedback. Improving the experience for our EU customers is something we’re actively working on. In the meantime, for customers based in Europe who prefer to shop without customs charges, our products are also available via Zalando, where duties are handled locally.

So far I have ordered the bonnet scrunchy hair ties and pillow. All apart form the bonnet are excellent products.
Contacted Silke about the bonnet as it doesn’t stay on (despite website saying use a pin. It makes my head sweat and itchy.
Got an email saying they had replied which just took me to their sales page. Considering the amount of money it is, customer service isn’t good. Still can’t use the bonnet and still waiting for a reply.
I would like to add that the pillow is 👌🏻 not had the hair ties long enough to assess yet.
Please answer my email and advise what to do about an expensive bonnet that I cannot use please?

Silke got in touch with me and whilst they wouldn’t refund me for the bonnet (missed the deadline for a full refund) they offered a partial refund, which I accepted as it’s better than nothing when I can’t use the bonnet at all.
Customer service was as helpful
as they could be under the circumstances.

Do not waste your money
Listen to other customers when they say that the bonnet is too small.
It would probably fit a head of a 10 year old bald child.
The material is NOT real silk, feels even cheaper than the one from SHEIN.
What outrages me the most is the price for this scam of a product.
