Simply Extend completed a wonderful extension for us last year, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The builders, led by Scodra, did an excellent job, and our main contact, Eddie, was charming, well organised, and really understood our vision. He made sure every detail of the finish matched exactly what we wanted.
The team built the extension on time and with minimal mess, and everyone was polite and professional throughout the process. A year on, the rear extension still looks perfect and has been completely trouble-free. Any challenges that came up were dealt with quickly and efficiently, ensuring the project stayed on schedule. You can see from the photos just how beautifully everything turned out.
We’re absolutely delighted with the work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simply Extend to anyone planning a home extension.

We did a rear extension which included getting rid of our old conservatory, knocking a few internal walls down, building a downstairs toilet and a new utility room. The planning process with Simply was smooth from the beginning and our construction team, Jack and John, were highly skilled. They even finished the build ahead of time which was a very pleasant surprise! We did have a few hiccups along the way but Simply dealt with them professionally and Holly was always very reassuring which helped ease our stress along the way.

We completed a two story side and rear extension, starting May 2025 and finishing Nov 2025.

Works included an entrance/cupboard, snug, bedroom and bathroom.

Simply were really helpful when first costing up the project, answering questions and amending the scope as the project was refined. Peter led this stage and was great.

The project was subcontracted to Scodra - we’ve been really pleased with the quality of the build. Eddie and the on site team were very considerate, easy to work with, started each day on time and were happy to scope the majority of additional works we required beyond the main project. They were also considerate of our toddler and two cats, keeping the site tidy and safe throughout.

Would happily recommend both Simply and Scodra.

Simply is a very professional otganisation. We felt supported all the way. Our contractor, Gjulio Meta was excellent: always helpful, responsive and professional. Work was of a high standard.

We recently used Simply to do a side return extension on our house, as well as converting our existing dining room into a utility, WC, office nook, and coat/ shoe storage area, and renovating our main bathroom.

Simply made the process easy from the start with a comprehensive and well thought out quote, as well as being very competitively priced. Since our neighbours had recently completed a build with them also, we could see the quality of the workmanship and the speed that things progressed and this gave us the peace of mind to go ahead. We also liked the fact that Simply would be there to protect us if anything went wrong or any misunderstandings occurred- thankfully something we barely used in the end. In hindsight, having the architect, structural engineer and construction team all working seamlessly together also made things much easier for us, as we weren’t having to work as a go between on matters we didn’t fully understand!

We lived in the house throughout the works and found Amarildo and his team to be friendly, considerate and tidy workers, always making sure we had the essentials we needed to live comfortably in the chaos! The always showed up when they said they would, and the team were extremely hard workers.

As with any big build, there were some unexpected and unavoidable variances (such as extra steels needed, reinforcing existing foundations and digging down further in the existing kitchen area, plus we chose to upspec some items) but Amarildo was always on hand to discuss and they were accommodating in making some adjustments to the design to outweigh some of the extra costs incurred. I never felt like I was bothering them with my numerous questions either!

Overall they have a done a fantastic job and it was a relatively stress-free build for us. We couldn’t be more pleased with the high quality of the renovation and are so happy with our new space. We would certainly recommend Simply to anyone who is looking to do an extension or renovation of their own.

We have now used Simply twice, Once for our loft conversion and this time we had a kitchen extension with a ground floor shower room.
The process with Simply Extend was really straight forward.
Payments were set out clearly, Their app with the dashboard is easy to use.
The Building work went smoothly from start to finish.
Igli our project manager was great, he always did his best to do everything we needed.
Our Family have also had a loft conversion with them after we used them.

Great company, definitely recommended! Looking for and working with a builder can be quite tough and risky, but Simply plays a crucial role in making the whole experience much better. Firstly, they were the only company who provided us with a quote in plain English. Don’t underestimate the importance of it; most builders provide with you a shopping list for materials which you can’t understand and have no absolute guarantee that it won’t go over. Simply provided a very simple explanation of the final outcomes which made it super clear and gave us the peace of mind. Secondly, their builders are good. We loved working with our builder, Envi, who did a high quality job overall and provided a very friendly service. Also always went the extra mile to accommodate improvements, finally finishing on time and budget. We didn’t need it much but it was great to know Simply would be there to protect us if anything went wrong or any misunderstanding occurred (which I bet often does when working with individual builders). Finally, simply is also quite competitive in pricing. Great to have this extra layer of service and protection without having pay a big premium vs individual builders. Big thank you to the whole Simply team and our builder. We recommended them to a few friends who are also happily working with them and we certainly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do an extension or renovation

We have now done two projects with Simply, a loft conversation as well as a side return extension on our Victorian terrace. The projects have been managed brilliantly, our builder in particular Armando and his team were outstanding their craftsmanship care and overall work ethic come highly recommended from us. So much so we specifically requested him and his team for the extension and another perfect finish they have achieved. Thank you Simply 5 stars from us a highly recommended company and team.

I was comfortable from the start with our surveyor Christian as he was happy to answer all my questions and spend time going through things with me. Our Project Manager Albano was great, the quality of work was really good and the workers were hard working. I was confident that Albano understood my vision and executed it, and he gave me time to chat things through. I would recommend Simply to others. Only small bit of feedback is they could have walked me through the next steps and timeframes a bit more clearly eg applying for building control.

Excellent company. Did a brilliant job on our kitchen and basement extension. Completed on time before our baby was born and the whole team were very focussed on achieving the deadline.

We had an excellent experience with Simply Extension, who built our single-story extension. Aurel and his team were incredibly customer-oriented, always on time, respectful, and clearly skilled at what they do. The quality of their work met our high expectations, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. When we first started looking for a company to assist us with our new project we tended to look at small companies thinking that it would be more cost effective. However simply extend proved to be very competitive with the price and we had the reassurance of an established and secure company on board. The journey from an idea in our heads to the finished project was a complicated process but with simply extend with us it made the task so much easier. We would not hesitate to recommend simply extend to anyone looking for an extension of kitchen or even a loft extension. The actual builders “Big” Laz and Ben were all you could want in your corner, hard working honest and very professional, they completed all the task to a excellent standard and get a 10/10. Really happy with our new space. Armando's team showed up and worked incredibly hard throughout. A really friendly and approachable team who made everything for us as easy and as stress free as possible. We deliberated the extension and the cost for many years, but so glad we finally did it.

We are thrilled with our kitchen extension - after a lot of research we went with Simply Extend for this as well as a loft extension. Eddie and his crew were responsive and helpful and worked with us to achieve our desired plans, helping us problem solve along the way and offering helpful suggestions. We have a small London terraced house and our new space maximises this to the fullest. This is a huge transformation from the dark and dated kitchen we had. The only thing we would do differently would be having our kitchen units fitted by the supplier. This is not a fault of Eddie's crew but we went with a kitchen brand and supplier that they were not familiar with. The check in calls from Simply were helpful and they dealt with any queries promptly. Overall, this was a very positive experience from start to finish.

Simply team did a great end to end job and we are really happy with our kitchen extension. We had issues with Building Control but the team were constantly chasing and sorted it out.

Appalling company. An absolute nightmare to work with. Constant mistakes and delays, and fixes that actually made things worse. The company is a con, where you end up paying Simply to hire cowboys to do the work on the cheap. I wish I'd known what I was getting into when deciding to work this this company, but unfortunately their online reviews are not a fair reflection of their work.

We had a single story rear extension. We used Simply from design to build. Our architect Sigrid was super helpful throughout the process, even when I was overseas for the design process! I like the system they use to track the build, makes everything very clear and is easy to use. I also appreciated the customer service support who check in on you every now and then. Our builders were great so no problem there, but the CS team were helpful in chasing the building regulators at the end of the process!
Armando and Amarildo were our project managers/builders and they were amazing, we were very comfortable having them in our home. We have never had building work done, so everything was new to us. Our home is limited on space (being in London), but Armando and the team seem very experienced in managing tight spaces. Inevitably we came across problems, but Armando has a positive attitude, gave different options to resolve the issues and was open to ideas. He was always very professional and took the time to explain things to us. Personally, I appreciated that they were able to complete the job quickly to a good standard. I would highly recommend Armando and Amarildo!

I used Simply for a rear extension. Lewis handled the quote and was very knowledgeable—even challenging the external architect, which resulted in changes to the drawings. Simply used FML Construction for the build. I spoke to one of their past customers, who gave a glowing reference.

Florjan and Freddie were excellent—very quick to respond to messages, completed the project ahead of schedule and very easy to get on with. Even the engineer was impressed by their speed. I would highly recommend asking Simply for FML (if they can fit you in) I also think they need a holiday. Holly at Simply was also very helpful and reasonable about any questions I had which made me comfortable about the downside protection that they offer (that wasn’t needed on this occasion).

I would use Simply again, but I recommend doing your own research on the builder they suggest.

Excellent team of people to work with, there was no issue that didn’t have a solution! I felt at ease throughout the process, communication with & performance from the building team was above reproach, I would highly recommend using this company to complete great work & to respect you and your home. - Thumbs up!

My project comprised a loft conversion over the full footprint of the house, and a ground floor rear and side return extension.
Simply oversaw the project from beginning to end, and the appointed builders were Made by Metos. Igli, Selo and their team worked to an excellent standard, communication was great, and they finished a couple of weeks early against the original programme.
The snags at the end were minimal and a 10 year warranty was provided so generally really happy with the way the project turned out.
