A beautifully delivered service from the team. Adrian is approachable, informative and very supportive. I’m experiencing some unexpected results and I believe this programme will lead to success which for me, is extinction.

Like many people, I'm sure, I wanted to cut down, not cut out, my alcohol consumption. Too many nights where 'one more' was one too many was sitting on my mind. A friend saw an article about TSM and forwarded it to me. I admit, I was skeptical that it could be that easy, but figured it was worth a try. I'll be honest, my first day wasn't great, I felt quite rough, but after that first day it's been brilliant. It does exactly what it says it will. The process of being assessed and getting the prescription was efficient and straightforward. There is support always available (but to be honest, it's been so easy I haven't needed any). I feel like I've now achieved the holy grail, and I can say I'm a moderate drinker. It's expensive, relatively speaking, but in all fairness, weighed against how much I was spending before it's probably cost neutral if not cost saving.

TSM is the answer to my prayers. The service is first class, fast, and efficient, and the emotional and practical support is Gold standard.
TSM works. It works quickly, efficiently, and painlessly.
The momentary sting of the financial costs attached to TSM is soothed when you realise that even at Wetherspoon prices for a cheap, large glass of wine, or even comparing the supermarket discount available on bottles of wine, the medication is actually cheap as chips at £100 for 28 days' supply. And you may not even need to take it on a daily basis if you don't drink alcohol daily.
Give it a go. It's life-changing in a good way.

TSM has been life saving for me. After years of trying to cut down on drinking alcohol and always ending up back at square one I now see real light ahead in the tunnel. The process to get screend and prescribed is thorough yet efficient and the support provided by the team has been first class. It is a shame on society that this treatment is not more widely available and it is thanks to the work of the team that it is an option at all.

I was given all the advice I needed and all questions I had were answered.
I started with half a tablet and it worked for me straight away I have had no side effects and it’s solved a problem iv had for many years and I couldn’t be happier!

Having despaired of limiting my alcohol intake, and worried for my health and behaviours, I found the Sinclair method just over two months ago.It is transforming the way and amount I drink, and therefore my life,- much to the relief of my family and friends. I can drink in moderation, and will get to a point soon when I can choose to not drink at all. Adrian and his team are incredibly supportive, with wonderful aftercare and helpful hints. I have been on the treatment now for 2 months and my relationship with alcohol continues to change from near-dependency to indifference.

I was not necessarily interested in complete abstinence - my job and social circles both involve events that involve alcohol - but I wanted (needed) to change from a serial guzzler who always wanted that extra last drink, to Mr Moderation who can literally take it or leave it and has no problem stopping.

I cannot believe how well this method works …having tried everything in the past in order to cut down daily heavy drinking ( for over 40 years !!) I can truly say this pill works ! Three months since starting the method I am now only drinking when out socially about once/twice a week , and even then I drink far less than in the past . I can see a time in another month or so when I doubt I will want to drink at all !! It is counterintuitive to continue drinking alcohol whilst taking the pill - but this is one of the positives as it takes all the stress from desperately trying NOT to drink and then feeling a failure when you do ! Over time the desire to drink lessens to the point where alcohol is no longer a big part of your day/life . Taking this pill prior to drinking, along with fantastic support from Joanna has transformed my life …I only wish I had discovered it many years ago !!

I went into this with open eyes and wasn't sure what to expect. I just knew I needed to sort my life out. I am only 5 weeks in and my drinking levels have plummeted. I am still doing the same things socially I just make sure that I take the pill one hour before going out, hey presto, the urge to binge drink is gone. This treatment has ben a complete life changer for me. I am so grateful to have found the Sinclair Method before my drinking got really out of control. One of the most joyful things is being able to remember the night before. I don't feel the need to have more than a glass of wine at a party which is a huge improvement for a nervous drinker like me.

Its worked really well for me, and surpassed my expectations. Only a couple of months in but I already feel I have control over my drinking, and that includes navigating some big drinking events.

What a groundbreaking solution to alcoholism, or just to the habit of drinking too often/too much. A fantastic, and much more successful, alternative to AA. The organisation itself is also very good. The doctor and Adrian very professional, helpful, caring, precise. Life changing.

I am not yet where I want to be with drinking, but I’m really pleased with the progress made in a short time-frame. I have currently been on TSM for 2 weeks, so it’s early days. I haven’t experienced much change as yet, but I’m hopeful. The process so far has been extremely smooth, and I feel very relaxed to be honest with my therapist, who is clearly completely non judgemental. I am so happy to have at long last found a method to assist me to take control of my alcohol intake.

I have been a daily drinker (at home) for many years - far more than I care to remember - and have been increasingly aware that I wasn't in control so much as the drink was in control of me - very subtle how this happens - I would get in from work, generally around 7:30 and generally be on my 3rd glass of something by 8pm.

In truth this has only been a problem to me as I'm one of those 'lucky' drinkers who could still get things done, but it absolutely was a problem and it was getting me down.

I was somewhat cynical that taking a tablet could really help me control this and I guess there was a big part of me that didn't really want to confront it as I expected it to be challenging - why give up something that you convince yourself you enjoy after all, especially after a tough day, but they're all tough days right?!

The beauty is, you only need to make one change - Take a tablet, or in my case just half a tablet, a short while before your first drink. After that I would pour a drink exactly as normal and think nothing different, but things really do change... By the time I'd normally be half way through my third drink I'd realise that I hadn't even finished my first - I could if I wanted to, I could even have another after that, but that automatic response to keep knocking them back just diminishes - imagine pouring a drink and finding an hour later that your glass is still half full.

I'm now 6 weeks in to the program. I still enjoy a drink on a weekend and occasionally through the week, but now have have 4 or 5 days every week where I don't even bother - I honestly didn't think that was possible for me... The beauty is, I'm no longer wrestling with denial or willpower and dreading the day when I need to stop.

By all means be cynical, but give it a go!!
