my wife and I visited Sirus Automotive…

my wife and I visited Sirus Automotive today and met Tegan from the office, who on arrival we were offered a warm drink by Tegan, on a nasty wet cold day, and Chris one of the engineers, both were not only extremely helpful and understanding but made us feel welcome. unfortunately we did not make a purchase this was not anything to do with the company more that the vehicle I drive was not suitable for adaptation.
this did not reflect on the customer service we received, I would recommend anyone to use this company to anyone wishing to have a conversion to their car.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff we met , they were all kind and polite THANK YOU

Sirus Automotive - would use again

Very relaxed and friendly. no pressure to make a sale. Competent staff, clear explanations, responsive and patient. A delivery date of end of November was given but we received the car a month early!

Excellent service from start to finish…

Excellent service from start to finish with Sirius automotive for my daughter's adaptive vehicle first time using them would definitely use them again Chris who delivered the car and did the demo when first looking at cars was really helpful and informative and so we're all the staff who I dealt with would definitely recommend them

Joke communication

You are a joke communication with this joke Joby Lawrence & the rest of them Mami wow they had the wrong phone number yer right but they had the right email ok so they was going to keep her up to date a bit of common courtesy would not go a miss so would I recommend them hell no

Fantastic service from Sirus

Just taken delivery of my second Sirus drive from wheelchair vehicle. Fantastic service from start to finish. I have had my previous Sirus drive from wheelchair caddy for almost 10 years and looking forward to the next 10 in my new one! My new car also allows me to sit up front as a passenger in my wheelchair as well as driving, this is something that I have never experienced before, but makes it so much easier to be involved in family conversations as it was sometimes hard to hear when sitting in the back. Sirus have always provided excellent customer service and any problems have always been sorted quickly and easily! I would highly recommend Sirus.

First Class Service

My new WAV vehicle was ordered by email/telephone as I was unable to call at SIRUS personally.This went very smoothly and all the advice given by the team was spot on. I needed adaptations to the vehicle and the technician measured these on his first visit. When the car was delivered I was impressed with the adaptations and on my first test drive I could drive with no difficulty.
The vehicle was delivered directly to my door and arrived at the time arranged.

Excellent service

My wife needed an urgent change to a WAV as a new wheelchair, due to be delivered imminently, could not be dismantled for transporting in our Motability estate car. She wanted to be seated 'up front' with a side door entry so I contacted Sirus on a number of occasions, both by email and phone, enquiring about the possible availability of such a secondhand WAV. Their responses were always prompt, polite and helpful. The wait time for a new vehicle on the Motability Scheme would have been approaching six months so I was very lucky to phone on a day that Sirus had arranged purchase of just such a vehicle, a Ford Tourneo Connect, which would be for sale as a secondhand one. They happily allowed me first refusal, promptly arranged a demonstration (150+ miles away) and we proceeded to purchase it. We took delivery just before my wife received her new wheelchair and it has enabled her to still get out - she would, otherwise, have been completely housebound. The vehicle is perfect for our needs, although expensive, but for disabled people, what isn't expensive? I can not fault the staff at Sirus who have been helpful, friendly and efficient at all stages, including for an enquiry three months after purchasing the WAV. Thank you to all of them.

Fab service

I had to have unexpected adaptation fitted due to a change in my disability. From the word go, Tegan Wood was very helpful and very much on the ball with emails and phone calls , Tegan kept me updated, throughout the whole process.
Chris and his colleague came to collect and return the car on both occasions they were polite and also had to deal with my nosey neighbour!.

Sirus Automotive fitted the adaptation and returned within few days!

Has to be one of the best service experience I have had with Sirus Automotive with all the years they have dealt with my needs

From Tegan, Engineer, Chris and his colleague the drivers are absolute credit to the team.

Thank you so much for making driving alot more safer for me.

Much appreciated.

Keep Away From Sirus Automotive

I had an accident in my 2021 Motability WAV Ford Tourneo van on 23 December 2023. I Informed Motability on 27 December and was told Autotech (High Wycombe) would be handling the repairs. I was then told by Autotech on 28 December that they would be collecting the van on 2 January, 2024 but that it would have to go to Sirus Automotive in Birmingham to have the repairs carried out as they had carried out the initial conversion. However, Sirus said they couldn't even look at the vehicle until 29 January as the person who does this was away sick. The van remained with Autotech until 29 January when it was loaded on a trailer and taken to Sirus. Since then we have been waiting 4 weeks for Sirus to give a quote to Autotech so that the authorisation can be obtained from Direct Line Insurance for Sirus to begin the repairs. We spoke to Sirus on Monday 26 February to ask if the quote had been done and were told that THEIR assessor from THIER body shop had completed the quote on Friday 23 February but it had not been sent to Autotech. Their 'customer service operator (Manny)' said it would be sent that day. I have today (1 March, 2024) been in contact with Autotech who have still not received the quote. They now advise me that they have been in contact with Sirus who say they will be sending them the quote 'some time next week'. They would not give any indication as to when the repair would be started or when I could expect (hope) the vehicle would be returned to me, except to say it could be another 4/5 weeks, and I was stunned when I was told that they have had vehicles for repair in their garage since August 2023. I am appalled that this company is allowed to treat Motability users with such contempt. They are nothing short of being 'cowboys'. I have been without any transport since Christmas 2023 and as an electric wheelchair user who cannot transfer into ordinary cars I am trapped at home. I have been unable to attend 2 funerals and a wedding. I have lost money on tickets for the theatre and cinema, unable to meet up with friends and family for lunch or dinner and have had to use the Motability Taxi Account for hospital visits. My independence has been taken away and after 35 years of using a wheelchair and a Motability vehicle so successfully, feel that my life is over. Sirus are one of the worst company's that I have ever had the misfortune to use and should be deleted from Motability's user list. If I could rate them as 'no stars' I would.

Service visit good

Booked a service on my secondhand WAV (not supplied by Sirus but one of their adapted vehicles). Carried out without drama at my home address and the engineer took the time to explain what he'd done and found. Thank you.

Drive from WAV vehicle

I took delivery of my Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle in March 2023. The vehicle was adapted with hand controls so I could drive from my wheelchair. The hand controls broke down on the first day after delivery. I have had 4 occasions when it stopped working and several when it took over 15 minutes before I could get it to work. I have had three visits from their engineer to correct the fault, but it keeps going wrong, and I am now awaiting yet another visit. Today is Thursday and the soonest someone can get to me is Tuesday. I am stranded in the mean time.
I had a hand control fitted to my previous car and in the 9 years I had the car it failed once. (This was fitted by Brigayd in Welling Garden.) In the 8 months I have had this vehicle I have had issues every single month.
If you are a private purchaser, I would be wary of buying from this company. I am contacting solicitors to see what recourse I have.

They take deposits and then cannot complete the work then refuse to refund saying all deposit are non refundable

Unfortunately when bookings are cancelled at short notice, we are unable to refund the deposit as our engineers are left without a job with no opportunity to fill the slot. We tried our best to accommodate you and offered multiple dates to complete the work. Unfortunately you informed us that your van was no longer compatible with the seats which was the reason for the cancellation.
