Best boat cruise ever! We much loved that! Was a pleasure ride exploring many hidden spots. Sporades islands are awesome! Full recommended company to explore with: Skiathos , Skopelos & Alonnisos islands!
⚠️ Warning: Dishonest Business Practices –I cannot recommend renting a bot her with Prive boat rental
When it was time to pay for the fuel, we were told to pay over 100 euros. The man who took the boat after our trip calculated how much we had driven using a GPS that showed the route, and based on that, he concluded that we had used a full tank and therefore had to pay that much. We asked him to physically check the tank and show us how much we had actually used. The tank was half full, and he eventually had to admit that we should only pay half of what we were originally told, after we insisted they check the tank.
He said, “Mistakes like this can happen,” but I find it very serious that they try to deceive people like this, using a GPS that doubles the price of the fuel used.
In addition, the boat was quite dirty when we received it.
We had a nice day, but you can have a nice day on any boat — with people who run a serious business and not one that tries to scam you.
He laughed at me when I got upset after realizing they were trying to steal over 50 euros from us.

Calculating the of the fuel consumption can’t be never exact for many different reasons.
We measure fuel consumption via GPS based on the engine type , brand and specifications of each manufacturer.
Fuel consumption for Yamaha 30/40 hp outboard is expressed in litres per hour, and to convert that to litres per mile, you need to know average boats speed at the given RPM.
Of course could happen mistake and that is normal in this kind of business, even against to the business. For any doubt we are here to double check it.

Private Boat Rental is the best! We fully enjoyed our 5 hour tour of Skiathos island. The young man in charge was very attentive, helping my 80 year-old cousin in and out of the boat with great care. It was an experience to see the island and its gorgeous coastline from the water. He took us to beautiful spots, such as Lalaria beach, and to the lovely Arkos island for a swim and a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this trip. Thank you Costas!

We visited skiathos island in September and we had a boat trip at prive skiathos. We had a tour around the island where our skipper Konstantinos explained us everything about the history and the geographical significance of the island. Also we had one day trip to Skopelos where we enjoyed the comfort essence and the sailing satisfaction of the boat. Returning from Skopelos the weather hit worse but the personnel was very experienced and made us feel safe. Overall it was a uniq experienced that we suggest to everyone that will visit Skiathos to try it !

Well trained staff giving detailed instructions for our boat hire. Showing off the map of Skiathos island, all kind of coves, rocks and dangerous spots clearly marked and explained. Safety instuctions also given for any kind of unexpected incident.
We had a perfect day (probably the best of our holiday) at the sea.

Amazing day out! Got to see parts of the island that you would never expect, Amazing caves and coves. The captain was amazing, full of local knowledge and knew the best places to go.
