For a two day class on the weekend and through Zoom, it was well worth the time. The way Steve Spearman kept the class engaging, I am still able to retain the information.

I had a GREAT experience with instructors Harry and Melissa in the SAFe Agilist certification course. I appreciated the tangible examples both of them gave to help apply the knowledge to familiar concepts. Too many times, you can receive training and have no idea how to apply the knowledge when you get back to work, but these two nailed it.

They welcomed questions equally regardless if you were a novice or well experienced with SAFe Agile practices. I had some knowledge, but not as much as many others and I was the only woman. I truly appreciated being treated with equal respect.

When I wasn't sure if I was grasping the information thoroughly, I would ping Melissa privately so I that I would not slow the class down. She was so gracious to let me know I was following along with no problem and would fill in any possible gaps or correct where I may have been reversing the order of a process. A truly good trainer will take your uncertainties and turn them into learning victories. This is what Harry and Melissa did.

I highly recommend this course to anyone. Choose Harry or Melissa to be your trainer!!!!

This is Joseph Olawore. The workshop led by Melissa White on the 13th and 14th November 2021 was a very detailed and insightful one. Good materials, good teaching methods, more practical approach. I gained a lot from the training and I believe that, now I am well equipped to launch out there and serve as a good, professional SAFe Agile Scrum Master. I will recommend Melissa White of Skillbook Academy to my friends for training.

3 for 3! Melissa was an excellent instructor and she helped further my understanding of agile frameworks on a larger level. The Leading SAFe class was engaging from start to finish and as fun as it could be if you're into this sort of material. Would recommend this course to anyone wishing to learn more in this area of management.

The class just kind of flowed right together and was over before I knew it. Honestly, I was wondering how these concepts would stick in my brain with only 2 days of training but it was effective.

I highly recommend this course and instructor for anyone who needs to know what working agile is all about. Harry Narang did a fantastic job teaching me the concepts that make up- "Skillbook Leading SAFe" - an agile based approach to running any team/business/project.

Jan Beaver is an excellent teacher. I took the CSM course and it was really worth it. You learn all about Scrum thanks to Jan's interactive way of teaching. Highly recommended.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable. Breaks were planned effectively. Breakout groups were my favorite part. Thank you.

Training session was excellent. It included complete coverage of all the topics interspersed with real life examples and pointers on possible exam questions.

Since there is no other opportunity to provide feedback elsewhere, I'm including it in this review. Jan Beaver was a knowledgeable instructor. The class was paced well with frequent breaks but there is room for improvement:
-Ask for pros/cons at the end of each day or create a space directly in Miro to add sticky notes. It would also have been helpful to have journey map and persona templates prepared in Miro ahead of time.
-The teacher to student ratio (1:32) was not ideal. This class may have been larger than usual but a second facilitator would've been better.
-Instructions were unclear at times and breakout sessions could have been 5-10 minutes longer. I would like to see the facilitator(s) move between breakout rooms to check progress and provide guidance.
-The instructor can ask individuals to use the "raise hand" feature to ask questions instead of interrupting the session.
-Prior to the course, it would be a good idea to survey participants regarding their experience and understanding so that teams are mixed and balanced.

Jan was a great instructor, he had the class engaged and made it all so simple and real for us. 8hr days went by pretty quick and I’m looking forward to leading my own Scrum team in a professional setting soon.

The training was very helpful in real life scenarios.
