A total scam
I used Isaac to book a trip to Indonesia this upcoming December for 2 business class tickets through Korean Airlines. He convinced us to purchase trip insurance for an additional $3600 and another $500 to be part of their SkyLux rewards program. The total cost was nearly $17k. Korean Airlines informed us that they basically cancelled our flight. I had to track down Isaac myself because he couldn’t be bothered to follow up with us. Then he suggested a flight on an unknown airline for even more money than the original flight, He was unprofessional and argumentative the entire conversation. I asked for a refund as we had purchased the $3600 trip insurance and he told us we would lose the trip insurance cost and only be reimbursed 75% of the cost of the flights. No explanation. He then hung up the phone on me after nearly 3 hours of going back and forth from him to a “manager” to customer service and then back to him. I absolutely despise this company. It’s a total scam. I’ve lost 4k for nothing. It’s not our fault the flight was cancelled. We should have booked with the airline directly. Now I’m filing a claim with Amex.
