Small Cruise Ship Collection Avis 

The size of the ship was perfect for our group. We had 35 people and we had a ship with 18 cabins cruising through South Croatia. The staff was absolutely amazing. From our cruise director, Katarina to our bartenders, Ela and Marino. The chefs that made such delicious meals and the crew that took us to the most amazing locations. Everyone was so informative.We had so much fun.

What a fantastic holiday! From the moment we were greeted at the ship we were made to feel so welcome. The other guests were great and we made some friends for life. The crew are great - everyone is so helpful. Tony, the guest manager, is helpful (and very funny although not sure he realises it :) ) The ship is great - cabins not a bad size, lots of storage. Nice little touches such as providing sun cream, sickness tablets and snorkels. We had a couple of windy days and one re-route due to the weather but the islands are gorgeous. Lots of swim stops included. Food is lovely on the ship and Greek dancers were onboard one evening. We will definitely do another - loved every minute!

Our 3rd holiday on the Fortuna gullet and as excellent as the past 2. The gullet was beautiful.
Outstanding crew, Captain Levant was a great leader, the food was wonderful and varied. The tour circuit was interesting and the inlets and bays visited were stunningly beautiful. Accommodation comfortable and well appointed.

The staff and crew made the cruise great. Only negative comment was the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat of the week

We enjoyed the experience of cruising around Svalbard. The landscape is beautiful in a stark, sculptural way and the wildlife is sparse but unique. The Serenissima ship was rather tired and not really big enough to accommodate 100 people. Mealtimes were a scramble and facilities on board were limited. However, the guides were great, well organised and able to manage the challenges of poor weather and guest safety with grace and common sense.

Katarina Lines ship MV Majestic was spacious, comfortable and provided an excellent mode of transport for the 34 guests on board cruising around several scenic Croatian islands for 7 days. The cabin was more than adequate for our needs with twin beds and a fairly roomy EnSuite washroom, toilet & shower facility. The catering on board was excellent and the daily 3 course lunch was more than sufficient. The daily opportunity(s) to swim and snorkel in secluded bays was a highlight and very refreshing with plenty of time devoted to leisure followed by a different town or village to visit each evening. Overall a very enjoyable trip such that we have already booked again for next year.

I'd like to single Ivan Rodic as outstanding. He insured we were well taken care of. He gave great insight into our destinations and paid particular attention to our comfort. His suggestions and knowledge of the restaurants and sites in towns was fantastic.
Again it was a great voyage.

I shared this trip with my sister; we had an amazing vacation. I strongly recommend the Company: they are serious, professional, and the customer service is excellent. I was booking from Argentina, my card was consistently rejected, so Beth called me on my mobile and helped me solve this issue. The cruise offered a perfect balance of relaxation, cultural exploration, and social interaction. Everything was excellent: from the quality and variety of food (they cater for vegetarians), the cleanliness of the ship and cabin, the well-organized itineraries, the chosen towns to visit, to the spots to stop for a swim.
The Captain, the Cruise Manager, and the crew were friendly and helpful.

This company made our get-a-way EXCEPTIONAL! I knew this trip would be special, but these guys took it to next level. We chartered the MS Swallow and cruised with 34 good friends from Dubrovnik to Split. The staff worked so hard yet always had a smile on their faces. so friendly! Food was delicious. And the swim stops - man do I miss them! Book with this company and expect the adventure of a lifetime... you will not be sorry!

We had an amazing holiday, largely thanks to the crew of the Donna Marisa who were helpful and friendly at all times. We felt in very capable hands.

The boat ( Dream), tour, staff, swim stops and food were brilliant - the trip exceeded my expectations and I would recommend to anyone.
I hadn't thought about children being on board and we had 9 out of 38 people, they were well behaved and didn't cause and issue, but it could have been a very different story, so I would check that next time we book.
My only recommendation would be to tell people prior to sailing everything is payable in cash and cards were not accepted for payments of trips etc. ATM's are readily available but charges for cash are very high.

We had a great fun cruise around the islands of Croatia - from Trogir to Dubrovnik and back via Jetsla, Hvar, Korchula and Mijet. Great cruise manager Marta and crew and lovely fellow passengers. Great swim stops and lovely picturesque towns on way. Also really good food. Comfortable and spacious aboard the Adriatica.

Five stars: organisation--Small Cruise Ship Co. and the Croatian management; good facilities on board (eg. nice solo cabin; fine food); experienced, efficient, personable cruise manager; excellent tour guides in every location.
Three stars: overcrowded ports and towns--not the fault of the cruise company. However too many cruise vessels: up to 18 stacked up overnight in some ports!
Two stars: inadequate safety eg no life jackets in some cabins; dangerous gaps between vessels for children or mobility-challenged passengers.

The company are great. For future reference please advise nonn italian customers non of the crew speak English, take books, board games etc and plenty of swim wear, fabulous islands with lots of swimming Also please note the details of the aircon...Small Cruise collection Ali and Caroline were absolutely brilliant as regards correspondence and queries

We have travelled all over the world, and this was the most disappointing holiday we have ever had. We spent 1week sailing round the Aeolian islands , with an itinerary which wasn't kept to and totally devised for the captain's convenience. The gullet was simply a swimming platform in deep water, which was fine, but the itinerary also said we would have the chance to explore the islands, ie trek to a craters, etc. Absolute rubbish!!! We were taken once to a remote part of Vulcano, and allowed I hour. There was nothing to see except a hotel and a rather dirty beach - much too far to walk to the village on the other side in the short time frame.
We never knew what was happening and only one crew member spoke English, the chef who was lovely, but didn't know where we were going either. The captain ignored us as much as possible, and any translating was done through another Italian passenger who spoke reasonable English.
The company also told us utterly the wrong way to travel - ie through city airport to Rome and then to Reggio Calabria, the ferry to Messina and train to Malazzo to pick up the boat - completely ridiculous and took us two days, instead, we should have flown to Catania and then got the train to port. Have any of the company selling this holiday actually tried this trip out before trying to sell it? I couldn't wait to get home.
Please note - all the other reviews here are Croatia and turkey - perhaps those cruises are OK - this one around Scilly is definitely not.

All the staff on the boat delivered exceptional service, with the exception of the yoga teacher, who was woeful. The weather threw up a few challenges but the skippers still took us to beautiful beaches, villages, archaeological sites. I would have liked a few more opportunities to swim, but the beaches we did go to were delightful. The food was always of a very high standard.

With four friends, we booked via Small Cruise Ship Collection to Croatia. We sailed on ‘Dream’ from the Katerina Line.
The ship was just the right size. 37 passengers, 20 cabins.
Each day started with breakfast, cruising to a new island, anchoring in a nice bay nearby and swimming/snorkelling. We had an excellent three course lunch onboard each day, then the afternoon/evening walked into the various towns.
There were several free guided tours supplied by the Katerina Line.
The staff were hard working and really efficient. Our tour guide was with us all week. He was brilliant. Excellent use of English, including our humour.
The six of us are British. The majority of other passengers were Australian or New Zealanders.
One of the best holidays we’ve ever had.
(They need a four slice toaster at breakfast though). 😊

Great holiday. Couldn’t fault it. Tour guide Roko was brilliant plenty of useful information but not too much. Food was lovely. Crew great. Drinks not too expensive. Cabin clean and spacious. 2 minor points that would have just made it above and beyond would have been another toaster at breakfast and a machine to have hot drinks throughout the day but this is just nit picking. Highly recommended.

The ship manager Bernarda and the dining room staff member Luzianna were great!
