The PVC process was a nightmare although companies house’s systems seem to be a problem.

We’re sorry to hear that you found the Personal Verification Code (PVC) process frustrating, and we appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback.
For clarity, the PVC process forms part of the identity verification regime introduced by Companies House in November 2025. As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), our role is to complete the verification checks and guide clients through the process, but the issuing and control of the PVC itself sits entirely with Companies House.
Since these new requirements were introduced, we have successfully completed a large number of verifications and company formations using this process, and in most cases it proceeds smoothly. However, where specific system constraints arise, they can unfortunately interrupt the normal flow, as happened here.
ORDER TIMELINE
3 February – 24 February: We worked with you to complete the identity verification process, including document collection, re-submissions, issuing the verification link, and completion of the live selfie and passport checks. A successful verification (“pass report”) was then received.
24 February: Companies House issued the PVC to the nominated email address (l*e@live.com**).
3–4 March: You advised that the PVC had not been received. We checked the system and confirmed that the email address provided was already linked to an existing PVC record.
As a result, Companies House could not issue or reissue a new PVC to that email address, and we advised that an alternative email address would be required to proceed.
March – early April: The process remained on hold pending a revised email address, as the PVC could not be reissued or overridden.
10 April: You contacted Companies House directly, and they were able to resolve the issue and provide the PVC.
Same day: Upon receipt of the PVC from you, we submitted the company formation without delay.
We fully recognise that this process can feel complex, particularly as key elements sit outside our control. However, the timeline above reflects that the verification was actively progressed and that the delay arose from system constraints within Companies House rather than the formation process itself.

For us, the possibility of being able to set up the new company remotely, without having to face additional expenses and travel, was a great asset, as well as the possibility of receiving the WISE account opening among the services offered.

We are sorry that this order did not proceed as smoothly or as quickly as expected.
You are registered with us as a professional user/agent. For some time, an agent surcharge (currently £6 + VAT, soon to rise to £7.20 + VAT) has applied to all agent orders and is stated on our website. However, this had not been consistently enforced on some of your previous orders. That inconsistency understandably caused confusion when it was applied in this case and contributed to delay while the additional payment was requested and processed.
Although the surcharge payment was logged on 6 February, the order was not progressed as promptly as it should have been. This was due to an internal oversight on our part while finalising the correct package and pricing position. The company was submitted to Companies House on 13 February, and we accept that this delay was avoidable.
There were no additional charges beyond our published agent pricing structure, but we appreciate how the change in enforcement may have felt unexpected.
We value your continued use of our services and regret that this transaction did not reflect the standard you have previously experienced. We are reviewing our internal processes to ensure clearer and more consistent application of agent pricing going forward.

Rude Live Chat and terrible service
Rude Live Chat and terrible service. Asked the live chat about the some of the registered address and service address services and they were extremely rude and non helpful. Stating "We did not force you" to buy our services when i wanted to just find out about how it worked. Filled out all the details but didn't proceed as it costs nothing to be polite, especially when it comes to customer service.
