False Advertising
The company offers free Installation. This is false advertising. I got one installed and when it did not work out and had to be removed Iwas charged €40. After sales support is a joke as when I messaged with the issues I was having they did not want to know and just kept banging on about 2.4ghz being the only option so you cant use on 5ghz. He then promised to come collect on 17th and again on 26th Oct 2023 and again on 02nd Nov. I had waited around on one of the days for him and he did not show. My daughter answered when he did come as I was busy, he took the opertunity to return €130 of the €170 paid. So again free Installation is false advertisement. Save yourself the hassle and get a Google Camera.

I am compelled to address the inaccuracies and unfair criticisms in your review. Your depiction of our service and product is not only misleading but also ignores key facts of the situation.
Firstly, the issue was clearly with your broadband setup. Our team identified and rectified the mismatch between your broadband's name and what was displayed on your phone. Despite this, you reverted the changes, causing the same issue to recur. We advised you to consult with your Wi-Fi provider to resolve these discrepancies, but you chose to ignore this advice. The problem was with your Wi-Fi, not our doorbell.
Regarding your comments about our installation work, it’s disheartening to see such disrespect towards our professional efforts. Our team is trained and committed to providing quality service, and mocking their work is unjustified and inappropriate.
As for the €40 charge, this was a direct result of your actions. We clearly stated that any additional visits due to problems not originating from our product would incur a fee. We even offered a full refund if the video doorbell was returned to us, an option you refused, necessitating another visit from our team. Upon collection, we found the device damaged, further evidence of mishandling on your part.
Your claim of false advertising about free installation is completely baseless. The charges applied were for additional services, necessitated by issues entirely out of our product’s scope and responsibility.
I must express my disappointment in how you’ve chosen to handle and portray this situation. Our company stands by the quality of our products and the professionalism of our service. Misrepresenting the scenario to undermine our business is neither fair nor constructive.

Excellent service. I really appreciated that I was given a quick appointment after a security incident at my house. The cameras are discreet and the quality of the footage is very good.
One thing to know: I had to upgrade my WiFi to improve connectivity which may not be an issue for everyone.

I believe the five stars are not enough to describe how happy and comfortable I feel to go on more and more to refer anyone I come across to Smart Home Ireland. They really did great work in my house.
