Smart Driving Group Ltd Avis 

I had a total of 36 hours with Lee and I couldn’t recommend anyone else to learn with. I am THE most anxious person when getting in a car behind the steering wheel but with the support, patience and techniques I was able to pass 1st time today with only two minors. I will also give credit to Ross who I had an hours lesson with before my test, my nerves were kept at bay with his wonderful calming techniques. It really proves how important it is having the coffee stops, the laughs and just being able to have general chit chats like they’re your pals, it never felt like a driving lesson. I am forever grateful for everyone’s hard work in getting me my pass no matter how much I worried and my unbelievable self doubt. I could have written forever but absolute 10/10 all round. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Very friendly people. Did my A2 with them and it was a very smooth process. Lee was brilliant. Overall, a very good experience.

I passed my driving test first time today thanks to Lee, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive, and always believed in me even when I doubted myself. His teaching style is clear, structured, and really builds your confidence step by step. He creates such a calm and comfortable environment, which made a huge difference to my learning. Every lesson felt productive and enjoyable, and I felt fully prepared going into my test. I would highly recommend Lee to anyone he’s truly one of the best instructors out there. Thank you so much for everything 🥰

Ross was the best instructor. I couldn’t have asked for better. He put so much effort into me passing and made sure I did and I’m so grateful that he did that.🙂

Lee was a great instructor, he worked around my busy schedule, and he pushed me out of my comfort zone enough so that I would learn, but not so much that I would lose confidence in what I was doing. Lee always made me feel comfortable and listened to me about anything I was unsure about to find a way to correct it. I was a nervous driver, but now I have been on the road for 7 months, and I absolutely love driving. I couldn’t have done it without Lee!!
Rosie in the office was very helpful and always had quick replies! I really recommend Smart driving!!

I was able to do 3 blocks of 10 hours with Ross and passed first time with only two faults, Ross is an amazing teacher and his coworkers are wonderful. Ross helped me gain confidence in trying a manual car and we had many awesome Starbucks. Trips I would highly recommend having driving lessons from their team as they are all kind and wonderful people. Ross had also done my CBT before (including Starbucks and ice cream stop) and I hope to do my A2 license with him next year if not I trust his co-workers will treat me the same as the ones I have met are lovely.

Andre was an amazing instructor. He was always patient and understanding, never harsh. He helped build my confidence with driving and was always open to questions and assistance with anything. I would recommend Andre as a driving instructor without a doubt.

I had such an amazing experience learning to drive here. My instructor was Andre and he was an incredible teacher. With his coaching i was able to overcome things i was really struggling with and managed to pass both my theory and practical test first time. I would highly recommend learning to drive here as my instructor was so friendly and made me feel relaxed when learning some things i thought were really scary. 💗💗

Great day with Ross who is very knowledgeable and helpful:) Also great fun and laughter:) I had my cbt done with Ross and my wife done it few weeks ago as well, with Ross also :)
Whole process was nice and smooth thanks to Rosie who was very helpful sending all the info over needed to get everything prepared and be ready on a training day :)

From the start I was just looking into getting my class A motorbike license and after speaking to Rosie she made this easy and explained everything.
I was contacted back within a great time and before I knew it I was on my CBT.
I started my CBT in April 2025 and had passed my class A license by 29 may 2025. Martin was a great teacher who made me feel confident in riding and was more like a friend than someone who was just teaching me.
When I passed we kept in touch so even the after care was amazing.
Overall from start to finish I rate 10/10.
I am now the owner of a 650cc sports bike and I owe smart ride a massive thank you for everything they have done.

Andre was a fantastic instructor, very informative, great communication and my nervous daughter felt comfortable after her first lesson, which is half the battle. And she passed first time. Thanks for a fantastic service and will use again when my son turns 17 .

I booked my CBT Renewal very last minute and was provided a 1-2-1 course just 2 days later with Ross. The content on the course was levels above what I had previously elsewhere. On top of this Ross made sure that although we covered everything we needed to it felt more like I was just out riding for a day with a mate. Really recommend Ross as a trainer :)

I recently booked my son for his cbt with Ross and Lee and found them to be the most amazing and helpful people. They only care about their students and not the money, they are very professional and only want the best for the students. I highly recommend this company and it shines way above the rest. I recently passed my driving test with only 3 minors thanks to Andre! Every lesson that I had was great and he was very patient with me. Andre had confidence in me which made me more confident in myself. Couldn’t ask for a better instructor.

Missus and I, complete novices haven't even ridden a pushbike before, took the test with Lee. Couldn't recommend Lee more, he's patient, has a calm demeanour and gives great tips and advice. He somehow managed to build our skills and confidence up in a short space of time. The whole experience was amazing and we actually managed to have some fun! Keep up the good work!
