I certainly enjoyed learning with this course.

The course is super comprehensive. I used the course to better create Instagram reels and stories for the gym I work at. I loved how it goes from the basics of filmmaking and video composition all the way to editing.

My particular favorite section is the transitions part of the course as they have helped level up the gym videos. The only thing I would like to have seen is editing on the phone itself over using a computer as most of the time I create the videos while in the gym and not at home.

Julian is a great teacher: His course breaks down all the complicated areas involved in filming into simple steps to keep you from getting overwhelmed. The lessons are short and concise which makes it easier to quickly test what you've learned by implementing what was taught. Smartphone Filmmaking Pro is probably the most useful media course I have ever completed. Especially for social media content creators like me who don't want to depend on expensive and impractical video equipment the advice and tools given have immense value.
The course is separated in different chapters which consist of short videos, so it's very easy to choose the right content which fits your situation without having to watch the whole course.

"Smartphone Filmmaking Pro," with its 232 lessons is the encyclopedia of how to create incredible videos with just your Smartphone. It covers all the basics and then applies the best techniques to a range of applications, from Family Memories and Social Media through to professional business and even film making (!). I wish it had a Professional Editing section for Davinci Resolve but, apart from that, I find it covers off on all my needs. Buy it but also USE IT. You'll love the results.
