Great communication from 1st visit for quote to completion of boiler replacement . Not the cheapest of the 4 companies who quoted but by far not the dearest . But pretty sure not are having work comp... Voir plus

SM had installed a new boiler for us 12 months ago which has been faultless since installation and we had no hesitation in asking Shaun to fit 5 replacement radiators, originals being at least 30 yea... Voir plus

I am the Director of Providing Hotwater & Heating on the south Coast, a company that offers full installation, service, and repair of various heating systems for residential and commercial customers. I have over 15 years of industry experience, including 5 years as a gas breakdown engineer at Worcester Bosch, one of the leading manufacturers of heating products in the UK. My core competencies include renewable energy systems, such as air source heat pumps, gas boilers, cookers, and fires, manufacturing process improvement, oil and gas, and customer service. I hold several certifications and qualifications, such as City & Guilds l3, Gas Safe, WRAS, unvented HW, and BPEC, that demonstrate my technical skills and knowledge. I also have a military background, having served as a paratrooper in the British Army for seven years, where I developed leadership, training, and problem-solving abilities. I would’ve rated him zero stars if I could.
The reason for the low score is honestly and integrity issues from the company owner. After chasing up my paperwork for three days with multiple unanswered calls and text (which was promised to me in full and much sooner), he failed to deliver ontime and in full. This work was for a rental property, and I had explained the urgency at the time because I needed to get a new tenant (a heavily pregnant female also with a young child) in as soon as possible. Part of the agreed work was to test all gas appliances and fit new smoke alarms.
He failed to fit the smoke alarms, which I was invoiced for and paid for in full, along with the cost of a new boiler. I received the invoice and paid my bill in full within 24hrs. Shaun’s gas safety certificate noted “no smoke alarms” and recorded the inspection as a fail. Which was his own test for the work paid for.
When I questioned it, Shawn (the company owner) called me a “prick” on the phone and seemed annoyed that I was asking about the legal paperwork he had promised and acknowledged was needed to get a tenant back into the property quickly. He claimed the paperwork had been sent to my email. (Prior to this discussion I had clearly written out my email address in full and sent it to him via text to avoid any spelling issues, (it was a simple copy-and-paste task.)
Shawn’s response when asked about the paid unfitted smoke alarms was “I will put smoke alarms in the post box for you and your key”. Which seems dishonest as he had invoiced and I paid for fitting.
I’m sure this company does do some good work but I’m rating them on this task and interaction.
To try and resolve any issues with the owner you get sworn at and money for work not carried out and highlighted by the companies own test and documented legal paperwork, with held.
I would strongly advise against using him.

Is this the best you can do ?
So let's put this correct.
Your last gas engineer didnt attend the property because? What reason ' your hard work' lol 😆 found out from a primary source 🤣.
So you called me last minute so we bailed you out by doing a inspection one day later to get your new tenants in.
We changed the boiler bank holiday weekend for you and issued paperwork for all 3 certificates on that weekend.

We know why you didn't receive them don't we !!!! Is it because you got a foreign name and it got spelt wrong ?

This is the reason why you didn't get your paperwork straight away and changed email address and sent strate over,After receiving 15 missed call from you.
So you think you can put a negative review will slander me !! Don't thing so.

We bailed you out and you cried because you didnt get paperwork.

'DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE 30 DAYS TO ISSUE YOUR PAPERWORK LEGALLY AND I DONE IT IN THREE DAYS AND OVER A BANKHOLIDAY.

Just because your on holiday in france and glued to your phone doesnt mean we all are .
I'm not on phone 24/7 but will return and call when its safe,free and convenient.

Thank you for your money il spend it wisely.

All business owners be carefully what customers you use in business.

Stay away from this control freak customer.

I’m a property landlord and I’ve used Shaun a few times now and I will only use him as I’ve found him really trustworthy, competent, reliable, he cleans up after himself and his prices are reasonable, I would have no problem recommending him

SM Boilers Gas Heating.

Shaun, was very prompt to attend our property and very professional. He diagnosed very quickly and methodically probable issues with our boiler and gave us a very honest solutions to resolve it. I would highly recommend SM Boilers Gas Heating to any of my friends and would have him back to do further work in the future.

Great fast and quick service

Great fast and quick service called in the AM for broken boiled and fixed by 2pm with new fan fitted. Highly recommend and especially if you have a Worcester you can’t do better.

Amazing Service

Called Shaun again to change my boiler as it was very old and broke down.
Shaun as always was amazing and managed to change it after a couple of days. I can't recommend him enough, very polite and professional.

Boiler repair and service

Shaun knew exactly what the issue was with our boiler and was able come and sort the problem out and service the boiler at a reasonable price. Very nice man and clearly very good at what he does.

Replacement Of Existing Radiators

SM had installed a new boiler for us 12 months ago which has been faultless since installation and we had no hesitation in asking Shaun to fit 5 replacement radiators, originals being at least 30 years old. He visited a couple of times to size up the job and advise on the rads we needed. The new rads are obviously all metric measurements meaning he had a lot of work to do in adapting the existing pipework which he did not only to fit but to look good once complete. The job was done in less than a day and was done solo despite the weight of the larger rads. Very happy with the result and happy to recommend

Excellent Service

This is the fourth time I've used Shaun at SM Boilers. Brilliant service as ever - Shaun re-routed an ancient gas pipe while I was doing a bathroom refit. Excellent neat and tidy job - explained everything. Also did my yearly gas boiler check.
I definitely recommend and will use again.

Great communication from 1st visit for quote to completion of boiler replacement . Not the cheapest of the 4 companies who quoted but by far not the dearest . But pretty sure not are having work completed that I DEFINATELY picked the right company. Replaced boiler and flue flushed out my rads etc and fitted new magnetic sludge cleaner and protected system. And new wireless move around the house controller.
Would definitely recommend SM BOILERS 100%

100% Recommend Super Duper Professional & Hard Working

Right from the very first meeting of getting a quote, Shaun was friendly and professional and at no time did we feel he was not able to deliver what we were after. At no time did we feel he was there just to fill his bank account either, going well above and beyond our expectations and all at a fantastic price, no hidden extras on the bill. Certainly believe we could not have got a better service or a nicer gent. 100% recommend to everyone, he will certainly be our first port of call going forward for any further work needed. Thank you so much, a super nice, good, trustworthy and honest man. 😬😬😬

Lovely as always
Fitted a new boiler and new piping for us last year. Just came back to do the yearly service. Quick and efficient.
Comfortable around our dogs too so didn’t need to worry about locking them outside
