Payed $30,000 for a system that has broken down and no support getting screwed around by this company do not engage them they hide behind other company names

I have recently had solar panels and battery installed through Solargain. It is early days but the savings are already apparent.

The work undertaken ahead of the contract was extensive, but upon arrival the installers had to re-configure the panel lay out. That was easily rectified but obviously extremely frustrating for the team on the ground.

My only beef would be the length of time from agreeing the contact and quote to installation. This went for just over 4 months but is an industry issue with a shortage of suppliers and fitters.

Overall Solargain made the purchase easy, and the explanations and advice offered was exceptionally clear and easy to understand. The installation team were outstanding and toiled away in high temperatures to get the job done. Thank you

Solar gain have provided exceptional service from the quoting process through installation and after sales service. The installation team were on time, professional, neat and tidy and extremely helpful offering useful advice and instructions during the process. The Franklin battery and associated App are easy to use, efficient and proving to be perfect for our household requirements. The technology and offsite support are fantastic and we highly recommended. Very happy with the service provided by Solargain and the Franklin battery.

After waiting over three months to get a warranty claim fixed, most of that time was a third party warranty company. It has been explained to my why qcell warranty takes much longer than any other company.
After my system has had its battery replaced and fully checked and working I will update my review again.
I have had 1 warranty claim some time ago while qcell was in Australia and everything went well and was fixed in a reasonable time but now qcell is no longer in Australia claiming under warranty by third party companies is getting near impossible and takes months.

Update: Batteries have been replace with second hand batteries but the replacement batteries are of a lower state of health.
Zeco the third party warranty people need to read up on the consumer law.
The replacements are not of equal or higher quality.
At least my system is working again even with inferior replacements. Now I am waiting to find out if the inferior batteries are temporary until new ones are installed or if I must take the matter further.

So great to deal with.

We got a 5kw system from them, was so impressed with their honesty and knowledge we recommended to a bunch of our neighbours.

Then even after the fact they’ve been super supportive with after-service.

Stay away. We contracted and got installed 16 solar solar panels by this company. They have a Clause in the contract not allowing comments on social media. Even we were threatened by their lawyer. So, you can guess our experience.

I got my solar panels installed in Jun 2023 and Solargain replaced my original RCBOs with another brand.

While doing another work, my regular electrician found out that the RCBOs installed by Solargain don’t trip at all…..essentially my entire family had been sitting on a ticking timebomb for the last 2 years.

I spent over $800 replacing the RCBOs. I have sent the detailed electrician report, videos etc to Solargain asking for a refund but a month later, there’s nothing. Apparently, they are waiting to hear from their supplier.

The awareness of checking RCBOs to see if they trip is very low. Can I please ask everyone reading this to check their RCBOs in case Solargain have replaced your switches. It could be a matter of life and death.

Don’t trust what they claim. Contrary to their claim that they care and provide regular updates, they don’t as is clear from my example.

Please choose a provider that really cares. Solargain is clearly not one of them.

Company installed 2 months ago and left with no connection. I've been told business never submitted paperwork to retailer. Dodging my calls and callbacks. Scam company. Don't believe the reviews they are incentivised to customers.

I had an issue with my solar inverter, and Solar Gain rectified it promptly and professionally. Jackie was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. Thanks again—highly recommend!

I’ve had the best experience with Paul Harris discussing solar. I get tired of salespeople “promising” you’ll sell your house for more if you have solar - and no, that doesn’t happen. Paul never tried that tactic and was more honest than any other salesperson I’ve experienced lately. He actually told me that a battery, on a cost basis, for me as a single person in a house, would not be needed and knew not to oversell things. Had an issue with my Solar inverter and solargain was of great help in helping me solve the problem .In a few words they were professional, polite and friendly in understanding my problem and guiding me accordingly in ratifying it. Thanks to Jackie Bridger.

the customer service officer was extremely helpful and patient with me regarding how to reset our solar panel system to reboot and reconnect with our wifi system as it had lost connection and energy was not being sent back to the grid. They guided me through the process set by set over the phone, they called back when they said they would & sent a hard copy of how to rectify the problem for future reference. Also received a follow up email a few days later to ensure everything was still working correctly. Very happy with their customer service.
