Solid Sheds North East Ltd Avis 13

Over this (late September/October 2025) I’ve had the same appalling experience as with recent review comments about Solid Sheds and put my concerns (unfinished work) officially to my local authority Trading Standards who seemed not to want to know, quickly passing me on to Citizens Advice who provided a template complaint letter which I used but this produced nil response and retrospectively only effectively served Solid Sheds to delay matters rather than resolve my customer problem.
I suspect follow up advice today (31 October) to repeat sending letters will delay matters further as enquiries and nil responses so far show this company has already “moved on” - even before I sought official advice
Meanwhile I pursued my own inquiries which proved more fruitful - so if there is anyone still in the same boat or have managed to resolve issues, please get in touch via the garden centre you purchased your shed who will pass on to me so I can share information and what I found.

Absolutely awful company, the quality of the summer house and shed is disgraceful. Having spent a lot of money there is no customer service. Complained 6 weeks ago, the office number in Redcar no one answers and unable to leave a message. The sales site I have been to on 4 occasions. I am now reporting the company to trading standards and having to instruct a solicitor.

Bought a shed in May. In July I emailed to highlighted a couple of issues I had found with it. As yet I've not had a response. They don't answer the phone or respond to answer phone messages. I revisited the site where I purchased it from 3 times, which has not made any difference. I'm giving them 7 days to respond as to when they will rectify the problems or I'll go to trading standards. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
Updated October. They appear to have shut all their branches at the end of September and Managing Director is not communicating with anyone.

Had a shed delivered 2 months ago and they made a dreadful job of the roof, black tar dripping everywhere, front panel has massive cracks appearing and screws left sticking through the wood. Have contacted customer service multiple times and been back to the sales office in person and no resolution. They also have never delivered the wood treatment I ordered. 2 months of ringing and emailing and not one reply. Dreadful quality and customer service.

Ordered a shed from this company and I was extremely happy with both the company and also the shed. Excellent product that was well installed and looks great. Tracy in sales was friendly and pleasant. Would highly recommend this company.

This is our third item from Solid Sheds North East and, once again, we were 100% satisfied.
Emma at the Garden Centre was helpful and courteous, both teams of lads who came firstly to dismantle our old summerhouse and secondly to erect the replacement gave advance telephone message of their estimated arrival time, got on with the job and were extremely polite and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Friendly service, great communication throughout and a very solid shed. Highly recommended.

Easy ordering process, shed was then speedily and professionally erected including guttering. Very pleased, shed feels very substantial and should last for many years.

2 lads come to erect the shed it had been raining quite heavily but they set to and built the shed with no problem and very professionally

I absolutely love my stylish and yet very practical summer house with a shed attached to. It sits in my garden elegantly. It's spacious that I could held my daughter's Halloween party in.
It only took them 2 days to complete it, one for grand work and the next I had my summer house within few hours.
