Psychologist good, admin bad
Can't fault the actual psychologist.
Easy to find a suitable psych and make a timely appointment. Session went smoothly.
But the admin process is something else altogether. Far too many emails, no option to manage your email preferences in my someone.health account. Only via the link at the bottom of their emails, and even then my settings get ignored and still receive lots of emails requesting reviews on Product Review and Trustpilot. Though I never gave my permission to pass my details on.
Also not happy that the $40 gap payment is deducted from my back account 4 days prior to session, although 48hrs free cancellation policy. I was advised that the $40 would be refunded if cancelled on time. But then it should not be debited until 48 hrs prior. When questioned, I was advised that is their policy and says so on the website.
At least staff respond to emails in timely fashion.

The company is linking those with mental health needs with a practitioner of their choice. Administration however was a challenge initially, and online registering and booking proved a major challenge and frustration. Fine now as l approach my fourth consult. Regards Max

I still prefer the face to face interaction with a therapist , but phone call is convenient specially of you are based in rural NSW .

The experience with the psychologist is very good.
But the customer service could be improved. I communicate with a different person all the time and they do not seem to exchange my information.

Very easy to use
It’s easy to use and navigate through the portal. Each health professional has their own custom description and tags, which make it much easier to pin point an appropriate person for particular concerns.

Excellent service
Having the opportunity to do this in my own home at a time that was convenient for me. The psychologist was really great at listening. I felt very comfortable and feel it is all heading in a positive direction.

Helpful supportive wasn’t knowing what to expect doing this but it’s so far been really good for me
My experience with the Psychologist.
This is my first time speaking to a Psychologist. I was very nervous and anxious.
The Psychologist helped me talked about my well-being, insecurities, physical and mental problems.
I needed the guidance the Psychologist provided to achieve resolutions to overcome my ordeals.
I'm so grateful and appreciate sharing my concerns.

If you’ve been thinking of seeking support from a psychologist these guys are awesome and make the whole process super simple. I got my mental health care plan via someone.health (free!) then you get to choose your psychologist. Really easy and convenient as I can fit it in around kids/work. Really highly recommend, put your mental health higher on your to do list 👌🏽🤘🏼🌈

Someone Health is not the provider for you!
They falsely report to Medicare. They dont know what an invoice is. They ignore your enquires.
Best of luck with whatever it is that you are seeking guidance and support with, you will find it, just not with this lot.
