Southend Dog Training Avis 

I’ve just had my first session with Aaron, and I’m already so impressed. We wanted help with our cockerpoo, Elvis, as he’s been feeling anxious around my daughter Emily’s baby, Jude.

Aaron was friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain why Elvis was behaving the way he was and, most importantly, taught me the techniques and skills I need to help Elvis feel calmer and more confident around Jude. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand, and I left feeling much more confident about how to support Elvis going forward.

It’s still early days, so we know it will take time and consistency, but after just one session I feel so much more positive and equipped to help Elvis. I’m really looking forward to putting everything Aaron has taught us into practice. Thank you, Aaron! We’re excited to see Elvis continue to grow in confidence.

Highly recommend SDT - from making the initial booking, giving first class communication about the booking. Aaron was very knowledgeable, friendly and tailored the training session for our puppies needs. He answered all of our many questions. We have been given lots of wonderful advice and are now looking forward to putting this into practice

Really enjoyed the training . Aaron really helped us with lots of ways to help our dog and it was great that him and Adam both had their dogs there to help us train Teddy to be more relaxed with other dogs around teaching him to be more focused on us . Looking forward to continuing the training and using the app for more helpful information . I can highly recommend ,

We had a 1:1 session with Adam today as we had a few issues at home with our Border Collie. Adam was so informative and gave us lots of information on how to understand our boy’s actions. He was very patient to train us as well as our dog!!🤣. We now know what to do going forward - thanks Adam

Was a really good 2 hours and I needed to get Teddy's training right and do it properly and I have learnt so much and Aaron very informative and helpful as understanding our rolls as dog owners. Would highly recommend southend dog training

Aaron was superb - we learned so much and have some great new "training tools" to put in place. He was so informative and knowledgeable. Really glad we called Southend Dog Training - hopefully with what we've learned today our pup Eddie will be much more of a pleasure to us - very grateful for the help !

Adam was amazing with Lilo, he was able to understand her actions and how my body language was interpreted by her. I walked in with a dog that pulled on the lead and I'm now able to have her walk by my side, making walks alot move comfortable. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience with Aaron from Southend Dog Training today and couldn’t recommend him or the company highly enough.

Before we even went inside, Aaron took the time to listen to all of my worries and concerns about my German Shepherd, and how I was anxious about how she was going to react to him. He was incredibly laid back, friendly, reassuring, and patient, answering every question I had without making me feel rushed or judged.

When he met my dog, it was clear how naturally he understood canine behaviour. Within a short space of time, my usually cautious German Shepherd was so relaxed around him that she actually fell asleep on his feet and even gave him a few kisses. Seeing her become that comfortable was so reassuring and really showed how calm and confident Aaron is with dogs.

Throughout the session, Aaron explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He gave me a much better understanding of my breed, why my dog behaves the way she does, and practical, realistic ways to work on her reactivity when people come to the front door. Rather than just telling me what to do, he helped me understand the reasoning behind the training, which has given me so much more confidence moving forward.

You can tell Aaron genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. His knowledge, professionalism, and approachable manner made the whole experience enjoyable, and I left feeling far more confident than when he arrived.

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and supportive dog trainer, I honestly can’t recommend Aaron and Southend Dog Training enough. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I’m looking forward to putting everything I’ve learned into practice

Had a session with Aaron for our 6 months old Doberman who was scared/excited at seeing other dogs to the point it was embarrassing to take her out because of her breed and people think she is aggressive. Whilst we didn’t introduce her to lots of dogs we talked and worked through her routine, boundaries at home and she is now into a strict routine where she is focusing on us rather than other dogs. She was also terrified of getting into her crate so we put it away. Within less than 24 hours she slept for a whole hour in her crate which was amazing. She now does her training in Shopping centres and car parks to keep her focus on us and she is doing amazingly well. The time spent with Aaron was enlightening. Well worth the visit and would highly recommend

I was very unsure of how Barry’s future would look as he has been biting and I honestly couldn’t see any future. One session with Aaron was so reassuring and I now see light at the end of the tunnel. I’m so grateful for everything Aaron taught us and for the first time I don’t feel anxious and stressed. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back after some hard work and training at home with Barry ❤️

I have used sdt before. Now sogned up woth new puppy and says must watch welcome new members video before start. This is not loading properly and keeps buffering. There is no option to report this to anyone on the website-searched. Is giving a bad reflection of what i know to be good company. If i didn’t already know, I would not continue after 7 day free trial.

Good communication before arriving. Upon arrival I was promptly met and instructions were clear. Adam was really helpful in spotting things that I do or don't do which have not been mentioned by other trainers. It was small changes but these made a big difference to my dog. Colleagues went out of their way to help my dog overcome his fears of scooters and bicycles, so thank you. I felt listened to and Adam made sure I was comfortable and confident handling the dog around his triggers before I left. Thank you to everyone, even to Adam's wife for getting involved on the day.

Aaron was brilliant with our dog, really knowledgeable & helped us achieve our goals, gave us lots of things to work on. Its such a friendly environment & no pushy sales. Can't recommend Southend dog training enough they are great.

It was great to listen to someone who clearly knew and loved his job and we both feel a lot more confident that we can redress the issues we have with our dog and are already implementing training sessions with him

Had a 2 hour session with Aaron and absolutely loved it. Well worth the money. Cash my 10 month border collie was already showing his acknowledgment to the training he needed. Aaron was so knowledgeable and gave me great insight to things I need to work on and things that I overlooked. I came away feeling reassured and completely at ease. Highly recommend

Could not believe the results and the change in her after just 2 hours.
Would 💯 % recommend this company to train any problem dogs.
